    Love the detail, nothing like a bit of tinkering. You have a fantastic facility, anyone who has not been, it’s well worth a visit.

    G’morning! Great WITB video ! Simon thanks for not only sharing but also giving your “why” behind the clubs that made it into your bag. I appreciate your honesty that if you’re fitted properly your bag set up can last for several years. Keep the content coming and I throughly enjoy gaming the GX golf gloves!!

    I’ve realised I’m still using the first set of Miura’s you did for me back in the 20th century. That and age mean it’s time for a revisit. See you soon I hope.

    Also excellent presenting skills - Nick Doherty should look out, as the Sky producers could easily find a slot for you on Sky Golf!!

    I’ve never tried the Obans so quite tempted to give them a try. Did you go soft stepped 115 Stiff to keep the weight around that 107g mark or do they play stiff to flex ?
    One another question, I’m assuming KBS Tours in regular are around the same weight but play even higher, toward the handle balance wise ?

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  7 месяцев назад +1

      The Soft-stepped Stiff just swing best for me but they certainly play more stable from a ball flight point of view.
      Correct on the KBS tour

    Great video. Having followed the channel closely, the only real surprise was the 5W - believe we have seen the rest pop on screen at on time or the other 🧐. But really interesting to get the full WITB with explanations. Guess that's one more for the nerd score below 🤓🤭
    BTW: How do you keep such a complete rusty finish on the wedges - is the weather in the UK really that much on brand 🌧☔🌧that they become like that, 😄 or do you have a special storage for them below the roof water drain pipe...

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  7 месяцев назад

      The 5w is a very occasional club and not one I regularly use (only very specific courses where a high flighted 220/230 yard shot is needed) so it is not standard in my bag.
      Uk conditions, particularly this year, make keeping wedges rusty very easy!!

    Interesting and educational as always. But give time a chance Simon. I gather from your remark that you are 44 now. So you added a 5 wood. I turned 83 on June 17 and about two years ago added a 21 degree 7 wood and 24 degree 9 wood to replace my 5, 4 and 3 irons. Like the Beatles song, ask your driving iron will you still love me when I'm 64. Or will you still love it. By then you may be adding at least a 7 wood and using the driving iron as a putter.

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  7 месяцев назад +1

      Haha - I hear you John! I think the driving iron might be long gone by then and I’ll have a bag of headcovers!!
      Thanks for your continued viewing and comments

    2 do I need help ?

  • @johncreet1254

    Interesting explanation of why you removed the line on your putter. I use a TM spyder X because of the line but also have a problem sometimes of dragging the ball left and as a result tend to hold the face open. It's made mw wonder if I should experiment with a putter without an alignment aid. Just out of interest, I know the loft on my putter is too much at around 5 deg; is it worth my while getting it adjusted to something more normal just to see what difference it makes - by that I mean without going through a fitting?

    • @Precision_Golf
      @Precision_Golf  7 месяцев назад

      I would say 5 degrees is a lot and cold get the face a bit closed. 3 is more “standard “ and adjusting back down to that should help the left miss
