Your wifes boobs? If thats out of the question, then maybe how to lead with the right elbow, I tend to hook it when I try that.
Fairway woods! how to crush them with accuracy!
Great tuition Grant, I have a tendency to cast from the top and get too steep….can you give us some training tips to get the downswing on plane?
Go over club angle and swing path if you haven’t already.
How do you prevent slicing the ball when hitting driver?
Grant you should analyse viewer's swings. I think it would help out a lot of us higher handicappers!
Yes sir! Will do
he does a lot on his instagram story
He does that sometimes on ig but i think it should be a weekly video on this channel.
Easy vid idea, super helpful to us and great content, win win for everyone
I'd pay for a swing analysis! @@GrantHorvatTeaches

One of the most important lessons I get from watching Grant is his tempo. When I’m playing, I think of that tempo. He’s proven to me, that in order to golf your ball, you must have control of your swing. I wish that I wasn’t in my 50s when I learned this. I’d probably have a whole lot less injuries from playing over the years. You can still hit the ball far enough with a controlled, tempo swing. You will hit the sweet spot more often, which in turn, provides the most efficient contact with the ball. If your swing path is good and you hit the ball in the middle of the face, you can’t help but play well.
I’m still fairly new to this game, will be to years in July but I too think about Grant’s tempo when I feel I’m getting wild and it helps alot
Also learned this from watching Grant
more than tempo is balance , be in balance with your swing . Some people can hit at higher tempo but keep a balance . So balance and using your legs and not your arms .
Great lesson Grant. Simplicity is what amateur golfers need. We don't need multiple thoughts going through our heads every time we swing the club. And you gotta love the effortless swing,
I'm absolutley loving the content GH! Thanks for sharing with us!
These quick videos are great for little improvements. Putting weight on my front foot helped immensely with my chipping today
Yup thanks to grant’s chipping video i broke 85 for the second time and can finally pured my chip with my 56 wedge.
Absolutely love these teaching videos, Grant! Thank you for sharing. If you could make a video on hitting woods off fairways, that would be super appreciated!
Great tips! Can’t wait to get out to the range and put them to work. Thanks Grant
I only discovered you over the past few days but your content is brilliant. I'm not new to golf but I've recently rediscovered my love for it but I'm still just as bad as I always was. Hoping to actually try and lower my handicap this year.
Thank you so much for this video. Help and worked for my driver swing today. Found my new setup. Awesome 😊
You're one of my most favorite people, easily one of my favorite you tube personalities. You seem like a legit good person, tell your parents thanks for me.
Thank you Grant!! Definitely needed this one!! ❤
Watched your video last night and had one of the best days with the driver in a long time. Great stuff!! Keep it up
Brother it's so easy to hear you and understand your instructions...thanks 💪
Grant you're an absolute stud loving these videos !
Thanks Grant! Love your advice!
Grant Great lesson! Love your passion! Keep em comin! 😍👏👏👏
Hi Grant, I’m a high school golf coach. I have been learning a lot watching your videos. I’d like to learn how to get the full turn on my follow-through on the driver. You have such a great tempo on your driver and you complete the swing with your hips towards a target and the shoulders turned more to the left. When I hit the driver, I tend to stop my shoulders when I strike the ball and I can’t figure out why. I really enjoy watching your perfect tempo swing. Thanks for doing your channels, Dave.😊
Liked and subscribed before the video even started. This is the channel we need!
Thanks Coach, I will video myself and hopefully use this lesson to improve my game. I sure need it.
Great video Grant! I would love a video about irons, for example what the impact position should be like
Enjoying the heck out of following your and your friends progress... Best of luck...
Would love a video for the northern winter golfers in our off season. Maybe good practice tips we can work on in the house when we can’t be out on the course.
Hey Grant, great video , gave me some things to work on. Can you do part 2 and discuss grip, posture, and arm position. I hit the ball much better today but I was fading the ball, how can I correct that? Love your videos, so much fun.
Thank you for this lesson bro!
3 fundamentals appreciate you
Hey Grant awesome vid man. Love what you do and all the content you put out there / collab on.
A few thoughts for you to consider on this new teaching venture
- try to get multiple camera angles (eg DTL, and maybe 45 deg vs just face on
- if you could do a part 2 that discusses what your hands do (eg are they active or quiet) and how do you shallow that would be sweet
- do some slow mo
Hope you don’t mind the above ideas and cheers bro! Keep killing it
Really enjoy your videos. Very basic, easy to understand and retain. Do you have a training video on hitting a 5-wood vs 5-hybrid. Thanks
I watch a lot of golf videos on youtube. Like a lot! Every driver video I watch might work a little bit on the Range but I fall right back into Old Habits a week later. After watching this video I tried it out and was hammering 260 yd drives (carry!) down the middle of the range exactly where I was aiming with consistency!
I was already doing 80% of what you were saying, but the missing ingredient was loading my weight on the back leg and launching from there on the downswing. Time will tell if this sticks, but it really feels like a Eureka moment for me.
My goal is to break 80. Every part of my game is there except for off the tee box. My best effort has been 84. Out of bounds kills me
Great video as always! Look forward to a video of best ways to “punch” shots.
Thanks bro this really helps
Great vid. I feel like a lot of other videos assume you know the fundamentals, which is why this is so great for a complete amateur like me.
excellent video!! that makes perfect sense..
The video i needed. Exactly how i need it
Cheers grant this video has helped a lot with my swing especially ball position have you got video on iron swing
Great video again, thanks.
It would be great if you could give tips on how to have consistent ball striking with irons and wedges. I wouldnt even know where to start on how to avoid chunking or toping a ball.
The ball position line helped huge 🎉
Grant this was very helpful! I have been doing the first 2 steps, but sometimes I forget how important that third step is of loading into the back leg. Although this is my first year actually playing golf, those tips are helpful. My driver swing still has a ways to go from creating massive slices, but these tips will keep me consistent even before the swing. Thank you sir!
Fixing a slice is counter intuitive, study your club path in a simulator session
That lefty shout-out did not go unnoticed! Appreciate you & your videos, Grant!
Thank you so much Grant! I’m gonna out on the course and work on that because driver has been a week point in my game.
It would be really helpful if you could discuss wrist angles and releasing the driver on impact. I'm adjusting my grip to try and control for draws vs fades on the release but I can't figure out how to do one or the other consistently.
watched this video this morning. Warmed up with these tips. Then had one of the better rounds of my life today. Thanks Grant!
Happy it helped but the range is where u should be trying new stuff... hahaha.
@@bigginzack Yes "Warmed up with these tips" meaning hit a large bucket with them then took it to the course.
You make it look so easy, almost effortless. wish my body would move the way it does in my head!!
Thank you for the baseball reference. That is a language I can understand. And mentioning the left-handed setup as well. Appreciate it.
Hey Grant. Great video for driver. I’ll definitely use your suggestions at the range and course. Can you do a video for the 3 wood? Thanks dude.
Grant, please do a video on what forces you put into the HANDLE just before/after impact. Thank you, nice channel.
Great video. Can you do a video on what your hands and wrist are doing on your back swing thanks
Amazing swing
what ive seen when i help alot of people hit their drivers is try to get power from their upper body. When i tell them most of the power comes from the right hip/leg they dont get it . Then i give them a example of a rubber band twisting on its axis. When i started i had a weak driver because i used my upper body for power , but then one coach thought me the secret of leg power in golf, after that i can hit drivers pretty good up to 320 330 when before i barely got 230 240 . Iam glad you showed how to use the leg/hip load , its kinda of a secret many do not know . Great video .
Great video. any suggestion of using the driver with a slight rotater cuff injury?
Needed this
Thank you
Well done.
I’m curious your takes on driver arm and wrist and hand action.
Awesome video I'm struggling with the driver I will do those tips for the driver.
Great vid grant
Thanks for the tips! Big question is how to you prevent slicing the ball with your driver?
Thanks
Ty Grant!
Great idea from another comment to analyze viewers golf swings. In those videos you could get swing clips for several different clubs. Then after watching the different swings, provide adjustments/practice routines and break down why the adjustments will improve the swing. That way all us bad golfers can learn from the lessons :)
Hi Grant. big fan of yours since you were in good good. I love about you passionate in helping people out on the course. recently I have been playing at some cheaper course but I've come into some driver off tee boxes issue. How to hit driver when there's side slope on the tee box, like ball above feet and below? and what should I do when there's a slight downhill on the tee boxes, too? thanks in advance
Thanks Grant!
Grant you're the man
Great video
Nice video - do one for irons 👍
Another key thing is the right setup in the driver! Shaft, head lie/loft i was using a stealth 2 hd with a 50g shaft switched to a 60g extra stiff and picked up ball speed and legit 30 yeards to 40 yards further drives with a tighter grouping! Fittings are so underated
Great instruction, Grant. What degree of loft is your driver? I heard Mason say his is set at 4°. Mine only goes down to 8!
Short iron tutorial would be awesome 👍🏼👍🏼
First
Where can i get that hat??
First, Grant, have always loved your lab videos, really help me out. I hit my driver 12 degree, the same distance as my three wood, 15.5 degree. When I hit my driver on a track man, my launch angle on driver is like 18 degree, yet my 3 wood stays around the 15.5 degrees. Does this come from hitting down on driver? Or hitting up too much?
@GrantHoravatTeaches, in my case I hit the ground sometimes before I hit the ball. How do you fix that? I have been adjusting by going forward on my toes and leaning more to my left.
I’d love a video on how to implement swing changes effectively. I struggle to change my swing and keep it changed.
Any opinion on having a stronger grip when hitting a driver compared to your other clubs
Please do a video like this for every club in the bag!
How do you load or where do you feel your weight with an iron swing? Do you not do the same push off of the back leg?
I’m having trouble with a slice. I know I’m leaving the club face open but I can’t seem to figure out how to close it.
I sure need it.
can you add hand grip.. strong vs. neutral vs. weak grip when hitting a driver. thanks!
Good stuff.
Grant,
Love the content and excited you are doing this channel. Can you help me on this...
I'm a very muscular guy and have a hard time opening up and having full mobility. Any tips or teachings you can help me with to achieve better and more consistent contact?
Hi Grant, I have a question about drivers (and longer irons tbh) that I'm not sure where else to go. I've been struggling with an Out-to-In club path with longer irons and driver. Shorter irons 7i->PW, I'm pretty good at being able to work in-to-out and out-to-in club paths on demand. But anything longer 5i or 3i and Driver, are still all typically out-to-in.
My question, is in what is the feeling of what your doing with your hands when hitting a in-to-out path. Are you, from the top of your backswing, rotating and throwing your hands "out" to maybe a 45 degree angle out in front of you? (45 degrees from if 90 degrees was setup location of the ball, which would be off my inside left heel) I feel like I probably pull my hands around my torso/twist rotation. Throwing my hands like that feels weird, but wondering if that's what I'm supposed to be doing?
Can you show us the differences of hitting driver with draw vs cut,? And you have mention that you got a stock shot of fairway finder when you see a more narrow fairway. Can you make a video talking about your houghts from start to finish the shot? Always love your channel.
Thanks Grant! Also, where can I get that hat?
Using the ground in your swing might be great to build off this. ( this translates to irons too) most seem to swing all
Arms.
I will give it a try. I was carrying drive 245 to 255 but i carry my 3wood the same distance so i gave up on my driver. I will load that hip and see what happens. Great video Grant.
Any tips for the shoulder tilt? I struggle with keeping my weight balanced when trying to tilt my shoulders. The weight wants to go onto the back foot.
Driveway marker alignment stick FTW!
Thank you Grant.
Thank you Gary for watching
Hey the tips helped a lot next I would like to see how to hit irons maybe long and midium I have been struggling to hit them consistently thank you
What club gapping should a higher handicap golfer (18 to 22 handicap) consider? Thanks
I understand that high launch and low spin increases distance. How do you reduce spin? Is it a product of the kind of golf ball or driver fitting or both?
How do you ensure you a avoid a reverse "C" when push off the trail side and the push back and up with the lead side in order to keep your mass behind the ball?
Grant! Lefties like myself will find it much easier to follow your tips if you say "front shoulder", "back hip" rather than "left shoulder" "right hip". Not many instructors do this, but 10% of the golf population will appreciate you even more for it!
If you can’t think to yourself that it’s just flipped for you then you have bigger problems
@@tylercaracanas8690 hes a liberal
Also can you make used left handed clubs easier to find as well? Thanks Grant! lol

I want to see you come to Dayton Ohio and give me a golf lesson hahah nice video!
Awesome video thanks.Boy o boy do I need your help? Lol
I’m struggling to hit my 4 and 5 iron, a guide to hitting low irons would be great!
yeah same they are by far the hardest club to hit consistent.
Those clubs are the hardest to hit for all golfers. Unless you are a single digit index player with better than average club head speed you are better off leaving them out of the bag. If you haven’t already tried, I would suggest trying 5 and 7 woods or 3, 4 hybrids to replace those long irons. They are WAY easier to hit and get the ball up higher with more carry. If you can put the ego aside they can really shave some strokes.
@@danmyers9372 looks ugly in the carrybag to have so many woods and few irons. I do have a 3 hybrid instead of a 2/3 iron tho. But i think most golfers that has 15 hcp or better should be able to be a bit consistent with those irons
@@marccutirella I absolutely love a well hit 2 iron, flushed. But I know odds are it's not going to come off when I need it.
Grant, can you give me advice on getting to handsy or flipping. Is there a good practice technique to help fix it?
Do you start with your hips turning first or bringing the hands down
Can you do a tutorial of the golf swing from set up to finish for beginners?
Golf is rude but it seems so simple when you play. The cameramen do also a great job.
It is a pleasure to watch.
The moment we’ve all been waiting for
Hi dear Grant, hopefully u can make a program for the difference of the long irons and short icorns ,especially the 4 iron ha❤
