Disappointed too but he said at least one non-professional thing during each race this season, I was wondering how long Fox would let that go on. He still brought some humor and his lack of political correctness was refreshing

+james atkinson I like them, too. But, Being spec cars, they're identical. So not much to miss there, unfortunately. They do remind me of the Can Am cars a bit. Now they were really something!

@2:05:25, boy these guys need to get out more. If you're taking in 8 hours worth of awesome racing but when the Sun goes down your mind starts to wonder who might be getting it on, you got issues.

+Richard Ryan Short shifting is simply shifting gears early, usually to save fuel.
+PetriusGaming No, that would be skipping a gear, as in going from 2nd directly into 4th gear. I don't know why you'd do that, unless 3rd gear was out or something.
Call me crazy, but, letting the T.V. people over the wall in pit lane, during the race, no less, is completely bonkers!
I was rooting for SRT. Shame.
I'm sorry, but this series won't survive if they continue to take big constructors for fools! The Corvette Team had four straight wins, get's penalized over severally on basis of the BoP, which makes the car suddenly incapable of being competitive and those SRT boys take the driver's championship???!! What an incoherence from out of the depth of the idea behind a balance of performance!! The goal cannot be to punish those who get the job done! GM brought the C7R this year and they would have won, except maybe for the very impressive Porsches, which also got castrated by this strange form of equalizing cars troughout the season!!
Nonetheless, it is one of my favourite racing series, way better than F1 fart sound cars, so thanks at least for posting this for free on youtube!!!
And the corvette that got penalized never had the fastest lap when they won...the #4 vette had one...But the #3 vette never had the fastest lap...they were just more consistent and stayed out of trouble...no need to gut the car by adding weight and then giving other team more motor and less weight on top of that
8 years late but take a look at how heavily the SRT was penalized from jump. It was the heaviest BOPed car in the series due to its huge advantage in engine. It took SRT 2 years to figure out how to win with the massive BOP and then the idiots pulled the Viper racing program...Glad Chevy stayed put all these years....
