- Hello everybody,
Again with the testing of Improved combat behavior of fighters armed with torpedos, back to Irukandji bombers.
Hmm...better?
I don't know, seem that now I struggle with this "improvement", just not to mess the existing S bombers behavior. I think I would have been just fine w/o the "improvement". To quote a viewer comment: "When they say improved, it usually means a massive nerf."
About me:
I like to share my X4 Foundations experiences, some because they are really amazing, some because they are really anoying.
Like the video? Why not buy me a coffee?

Hey, thank you for the testing videos watched alot of them.
Just a question has destroyer ai been improved? I feel my Earlking aiming way more aggressivily to use it's main gun. Only a 2 star pilot.
In short, individual destroyers better, but destroyers in a fleet/wing did not benefit from the improvements.
@@ragnos28 thank you
Is there a difference between a wing of torpedo-equipped fighters with "bombardment" role and a wing of them with "attack" role? And is there a difference if you manually select all of the fighters in those wings and tell them to attack a capital ship?
Attack role attacks whatever the commander is attacking(under an "attack" command, no command no attacking). Bombardment only attacks any L/XL ships within commander's sensor range automatically. Also FYI, Intercept only attacks any S/M ships within commander's sensor range automatically.
@@FortuneHunters Yeah, that's what I thought. So basically, if you tell a carrier to attack a capital ship, both wings will do the same thing. Regarding the intercept command, are you sure about that? Only S/M ships? What if there are none, and only capital ships?
@@mattronin2647 If they are no S/M ships around the carrier, ships under intercept role will not launch.
Bomber mechanic didn't need improvement. Destroyer behavior definitely did. Big L.
Exactly.
