First they charged extra for adding backlighting and a "game" design. Then they charged extra for removing the backlight and making the design quieter (for pro). Bravo Asus
You got the point.
Social engineering at its finest.
Take a shot every time you see "ProArt" branding.
I am now dead. That's a lesson for you, kids. Don't do what RUclips comments tell you to.
this video is just not fine. so you really need to spend that much to get an almost perfectly stable system?
is Windows really like that?
@@reyashvishwathis video is advertising
@@reyashvishwa it is literally just advertising nothing else. This machine all told probably costs around 4 grand. You can get way more performance for cheaper
@@reyashvishwai9 14900k for stability 😂
A 12 minute ad... just wow...
Wow a tard .. just wow..
The USB 2.0 ports are still worth their weight in gold because USB 3.0 interferes with 2.4 GHz and sometimes Bluetooth. You should therefore connect your Corsair or other Wi-Fi USB dongles to the USB 2.0 ports. Incidentally, they do not require a higher data rate. You're only doing yourself good.
thank you
I was going to say exactly this lol!
Glad to see this comment i was wondering why my Bluetooth Keyboard is Acting up sometimes when i put a Usb.
Wait really? Can somebody expand more on why USB 3.0 interferes with Wireless like this?
Oh wow, this totally explains why my Logitech MX Master and Master 3s would act glitchy and the responsiveness would be poor at times!
I was wondering if some of my usb ports were going bad on my still fairly new motherboard and was starting to worry I bought a faulty board but this totally clears all my worries.
Thanks for the info!
Checks pro art 4080 super price, closes window.
Went to pcpartpick, smiling as i added everything to the list. Looks down at total price. Depressed all day.
@@xscudx91Yo. Pls what's the pricing? 😂
The ProArt branding is to the point of obnoxious in my opinion, despite how clean it is otherwise.
I like it.
Video sounds like a ProArt ad....
That's because it is.
Probably my favorite build montage you guys have done. Loved the audio, it really reminded me of what it actually feels like when building. Lots and lots of screws
love your monitor setup. About to finish grad. school and build my dream machine learning/ gaming PC and have ALWAYS wanted 2 monitors, with one in landscape for coding in Rstudio or VScode. This video DEF inspired me and gave me some new ideas!
I'd love a ProArt ITX MoBo. A beauty like that with a ProArt GPU inside a black Fractal Terra would be AMAZING.
Great on paper, but remember that the doors will probably be closed once the system is assembled, so you won't see anything at all.
@@Wrigglevision I know. But all the ports from the ProArt are absent on the ROG MoBo.
If you got quadro/blower cards you could fit two GPU's in there to speed up render times.
But you're right. Don't put out a cheaper mobo that offers better I/O options than the Dark. At least match it.
Loved the shout out for Paul. Beautiful system once you got it all together.
Pretty cool man, this case has lots of neat little functions, I dig that power button lock.
What a righteous build, That ProArt aesthetic is narly. 🤟
This is awesome. I happy to see how happy you are. keep up the great work>
I'm impressed with the tight editing of this video, GG Dmitry.
now that is a great build ,i really like it
I think it makes more sense to put the mouse and keyboard dongles to the USB2 ports and leave the USB3 ports available for something that might actually use the extra bandwidth?
I was in the same thought of not upgrading to windows 11, but recently I did and I don't mind it at all, out of all the windows transitions, this was the easiest. And it runs much better.
I'm jealous. This was really awesome upgrade.
It seems like all other non-Apple brands have abandoned photo/video editing business. Then there is Asus. They are not giving up and giving us Windows/Linux fans an option outside of the Apple ecosystem, especially for photo & video editors. Good job Asus! 👏👏👏
That's a stealthy and clean looking pc great job , nice video !
I love it. Back to basics and no unicorn-fart RGB nonsense.. My dream build 2 😍
W11 has been fine for a long while already.
Also the wireless dongles you have occupying your USB 3.0 front ports are USB 2.0 speed. So why take up the 3.0 ports with them? Use those 2.0 ports you didn't know what you'd use for. Then you'll have 3.0 ports free for maybe a 3.0 thumb drive or something.
I was just thinking the exact same thoughts. Windows 10 also hits EOL in October 2025, so he really needs to get with the times already.
We're literally over here with articles coming out on updates breaking thing in W11 a few weeks ago.
Don't confuse you not using it for much with "its good now."
Loads of folk and businesses stay clear of new OSes for good reason.
@@dvnwllmsW11 is nothing than stable with certain hardware/peripherals (modems, Wi-Fi cards, sound cards, or printers). In my case, is the printer faulty,
@@nls3081That's literally every OS. No one's saying 11 is the most stable OS ever. I'm saying it's stupid to hitch yourself to a nearly 10 year old wagon & complain about features that don't work properly (HDR, like he mentioned.)
@@dvnwllms Windows 11also has a lot of crap many people don't want in it. So many still aren't moving on from Windows 10. I'm one of them.
Totally understand stability. Same here.
Ever since I tried noctua fans I can never go back. The silence and performance cannot be understated. I keep my pc under the desk and I don't see RGB but I do hear the fans, so noctua is something that I recommend to everyone
Totally agree.
Same. I'm not really a fan of RGB either, so just turn it off when it's available. I'm not even really a fan of the glass side panels but it's hard to get good modern cases that don't have such things so I deal with it lol. Not that you can see it, my case faces a wall where the glass panel is so even if I did want to see inside the thing I couldn't without totally rearranging my office.
I am cheap, I bought Arctic fans and they quiet enough for my liking and they a great price
for my new build I bought Arctic as well, 420mm AIO and replaced the case fans too. Pretty good for the price indeed.
@@Eremita85 I have my arctic fans running around 1000rpm, it averages near 1000rpm and it's so quiet
i really like the ventilation on the tempered glass, i hope they will make more like those in the future or like expansion on their current line up of cases,
Gorgeous build. The branding is definitely heavy but at least it isn’t gaudy & RGB. Looking forward to the 1y update. Happy rendering.
BRAVO TO BEAUTIFUL RIG
I had the similar regret not getting the custom CableMod 12vhpwr cable when I did my new build. Great looking build. Like the subtle lighting and color range.
I hear you on stability. My intel / nvidia builds are usually stable from the get-go with rarely any issues. My AMD builds have always been a hassle, spending hours in the BIOS trying to get things to work in a stable performant way, wrestling with drivers that are buggy. Even though Ryzen 9000 is supposed to be the best thing ever, I plan to switch to intel / nvidia on my next build.
That PRO ART case really has some nice features. I didnt know they made an AIO too! All of it looks so good. This is similar to my original build idea when I got my PRO ART B660 D4.
If you're working in Resolve, one of the biggest benefits the newer Intel CPU's have over AMD is the media engine. If you're working in h264/265, the onboard media engine can decode that footage... where not even the 4090 does, and the timeline performance is so much better. I'm waiting to see what Arrow Lake has on offer to replace my 5950X.
Skx007 on the wrist during the demonstrations. Lovely!
I got 3 of those P41s and they are amazing
ya, defiantly no worries about issues with them, i abuse the crap out of mine with reads / writes and have never had an issue and have had them in for over a year so far. I just wish they had 8TB versions, but i am the extreme use case that has over 90TB of storage in their desktop.
God, you pushed almost all my buttons with this build. I absolutely adore this theme.
That is a fine-looking setup. ProArt components are expensive, but they impress.
oh wow what a gorgeous build, basically my dream PC. i think the only choices i might have made differently would be a Fractal North XL as the case and Teamgroup T-Create ram instead of g-skill.
0:47 "Just get a Mac" 😂 that's hurt as pc user
my question as a broke person is how can you have crashes if you have enough money to build a good PC.. I might sound spiteful but some times mac users come across as making excuses. I get it, Mac is nice. It's like having a Mercedes. Why would you put thousands of upgrades into your Honda when you can buy a Mercedes. even if you put upgrades in your Honda, nobody will look at it or feel about it the way they do a Mercedes. We all have that little hermit that just likes expensive fancy things. I myself I have a ryzen 3 but I have eyes for the RTX4090,. Even If I had one, my cpu would bottle neck the 4090.. but it would be nice you know, to know that's $2000 stuffed into my PCIE gen 3 slot
Nha, Apple Is shit
@@giuseppevaccaro7521 love or hate it... Mac is better than Windows when it comes to reliability & stability (i said that cause i was a windows user, meanwhile my friend college is a Mac user, so i know the both experience)
and almost feels like a mac on 11:01
mac pc linux chromebooks are only choices dont marry with windows only
Dude that desktop background looks awesome! Any chance you could give me a source for it?
Google: "Abstract Shapes 4k Ultra HD Wallpaper by Li Zhang" and you should find a link to alphacoders with a 4k image.
Man that's one helluva build.
I'm so annoyed by all this childish branding. Like, I don't need my products to scream "GAMING" or "PRO". Really feels like compensating :(
that's how you feel, not what it actually is
The GPU Looks so good. The simple design is such a nice change in sea of RGB everywhere.
What I find so amazing by this is I no lie just bought my dream PC. And it was also a proart build. Proart 4070 ti super, proart z790, proart pa602 case. I however did not get the proart AIO because it was just atrociously overpriced for the meh performance it has. Ended up cheaping out and just getting a deepcool LS720s Zero Dark as it didn't have RGB and performed decently for it's cheap price.
Beautiful build by the way I might have to get those matching cables as well. And one day I'll upgrade to a proart display.
ProArt's styling these days has an ArtDeco vibe going for it. Hope they continue with that, and make it even more aggressive.
Cool Build.
Might have been better to go with Samsung storage for stability... Some of those Sk Hynix Platinum P41 i believe have a faulty Controller....
Hasn’t Samsung also had software issues with its sdd?
@@nicholaswicks3077 Yes, a software issue that was fixed. But the Hynix issue is Hardware i think...
honestly I'm not an expert, but when ever i see a sale on the Hynix in reddit i see people claiming it had this issue and it should be avoided.
@@nicholaswicks3077 I had two Samsung NVMe drives die within four years, pretty unfortunate. One died after just under 3 years, the other after just over 1 year. Put me off their storage for quite a while, to be honest.
Some nice detail I had with my 4090 magnetic anti sag tool was that it has a tiny screw driver build in and your case should also have a hidden compartment for the wifi antenna.
Building a computer on your on especially your own has a very special and unique feeling to it.
The PC on the floor is no big deal when you don't live by a desert (Calling out both Paul and Kyle). I built my PC on New Years Eve, and I went to clean out the filters a few days ago and there was nothing to clean. Sometimes it's kind of nice living in the northern rain forest.
The ProArt 4080 is on my Wishlist because the GPU fit in my Meshify C. Same for my current Asus 3080 12GB TUF. Hart Decision. Is the 4080 worth for VR and DCS as an Upgrade?
I got a ProArt mathorboard for my current workstation and I have been supper happy with it. For my next build, I may go with a all ProArt like this one.
I also got the case and stuffed in the 420 arctic freezer 3. Nice case with some smart parts in it.For the price they could have done some more alu parts and the front maybe not full plastik. Other then that its a nice oldschool workstation case interpreted new
2:50 THANK YOU! I almost did the same thing when I got mine. Opened the package to see what looks like an empty slot in the box! They need to not do that.
Windows 11 does have some exclusive CPU affinity stuff with Intel thread director that as far as I know hasn't been added to W10, but otherwise very cool build
Was thinking of doing a ProArt build because I actually like the gold accents on the hardware, but wanted to do it with a Fractal North case and then somehow paint the wood panel to gold. Don’t know if it would look good, but in my mind it feels like it does.
bro flashy names got u going crazy, couldve been so much cheaper
the PSU shroud delete reminds me of old school cases like my first case the Fractal R5
I really dig the proart ascetic. Love it in fact.
Great video as ever!
Literally a bot
@@carsonburke4727 like... Actually?
Why USB 3 for mouse & keyboard? 🧐
Why not? He's probably not going to use those ports for anything else.
I got the same ssd, and yes, I confirm I had an heart attack not seeing it immediately!
Looks great!
Good looking build.
Everything is so snappy :D Thats Literally Every Ryzen User Turned to Intel :D
USB2 ports are for when intsalling Windows for ex. Always use USB2 for that.
PC aside, the quality of this video is mesmerizing.. I just recently did a build on my channel as well and also went for the all black theme! Turned out pretty swell, I’d say yours is def cleaner tho. Thanks for the great content as always :)
Nice parts, I wonder what Asus' line up they're coming from 🤔
I wish this case was mid tower!
Also all metal with rack mount options 😄
Amazing PC!
Honestly if you wanted a stable system I would have stayed away from the 40 series in general because of all of the 12V high power connector issues. It was obviously not engineered correctly and each time someone tries to band aid fix it, it still continues to fail and blow up on people. If I were you I would have stuck it with a 3090 or something and ate the little to none performance loss because at least my gpu isn't a fire hazard. Just my two cents.
I'm rocking that same PSU.. I just with it had native support for the new gpu's.
So much money and the board and case are lacking USDB4! Anyway, congrats, definitely looks cool. I also recently upgraded my config, but to an AMD Ryzen platform, as is gaming platform only.
Countdown to the day you get the "USB Overcurrent Status Detected" BIOS error. Got burned too many times by ASUS overvolting their USB controller and frying it worse than a KFC kitchen.
I'm cooling my I9 13900K with a Hailea HC300A aquarium chiller. 395 Watt cooling power. Keeps my cooling fluid between 17-18 celsius at all times, can go lower but i'm getting condensation below 17 celsius. No amount of radiators can beat that chiller.
I love my x570 proart, the m.2 lanes are a bit janky if you run dusl m.2 and my 10gb port sometimes isn't recognized on cold boot (started happening once i added a second m.2). But with my 5800x3d 3600cl16 it is rock solid. Not a single crash or blue screen in over a yr, on a full loop as well.
Mmmmm... PC building ASMR... yezzz
I wish they made this case in white and gold. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
i think a fractal north would have fit into this build very nicely
Whats your davinci resolve settings for export?
11:04 even at the end you still haven't peeled of the instruction sticker 🤫😅.
I WANT TO GET MY HANDS ON THAT NEW PROART 420mm AIO TO BENCHMARK. It looks absolutely beautiful
I agree on the Windows 10bit HDR issue. I've had a Dell S3220DGF for a few years, and I can't reliably leave the display on HDR. I can't even mirror my 10bit HDR display w/ my AVerMedia Live Gamer 4k which is also 10bit, I have to set them individually, and OBSA can't properly broadcast my main to the capture. It's just a total disaster.
Maybe you can talk with Steve (GN) and see if you can get a interview with Microsoft to see if they're going to work on fixing this once and for all.
They still haven't figured out HI-DPI scaling properly in Windows, which is worse when using monitors with different DPI levels.
Dreams do for real with faith and hard work.
i loved the asmr pc setup haha
lexar makes some black and gold ram and they call it thor. it would've fit the whole theme better since you said the psu would be the only thig lighting up
im literally planning my 5800x upgrade now too. The 12th gen intel is looking so sexy. Even the 12600kf will give me 15% of a upgrade and not to mention what ill get for going to DDR5 boost. All for the low low price of 150$. makes me cry a bit thinking of the close to 700$ i spent buying my 5800x on ebay from scalpers 2 weeks after it dropped
This build would look even better with T-Create Expert memory, which is great companion for Asus proart (black non-rgb with golden accents)
Hey Dimitri, what is RGB Hexcode you have set for the system??
What is your GPU/hotspot/memory temp in HWINFO64 under Time spy extreme stress test OR 20mins fullscreen FurMark? (and your room temp?)
I genuinely didn't expect it. Superb work on the editing, your are an artist ! 💐
one connector is not fully plugged in on power supply. Tbh ... i also have my pc always under the desk. You don't need even one component to get a stable system ;)
Wants stability but uses overclocked non-ecc memory. Also uses gamer gpu instead of workstation gpu.
That being said, I do like the black and gold theme. It looks great.
It looks very good 👍
They need to build a vertical ITX version of that case.
It is a good thing you kept the PSU Shroud off. That PSU is the same one I had and it is not friendly with PSU Shrouds when it gets hot because the fan has no way to get air in because they put the fan on the top and it will overheat and start crashing your computer. I really was hoping ASUS would make it with the fan on the bottom but they haven't.
You want stability so it's funny that you picked a CPU that's known to crash at stock settings.
love it
I9 14900k can be cooled if you undervolt it and put a wattage limit on it
I wish the case was a bit smaller, I really like the aesthetics of it but it’s HUGE
Forgetting to turn on PSU was relatable. Even if you have already build many PC lmaoo😂
dont you need windows 11 to properly use E- and P- cores of 12+ gen intel CPUs?
Make a ProArt itx motherboard ! With a nice layer like the B650 !
9:46 You could have just cleaned the filter before putting it back?
Oof right when intel 13 and 14 gen and stability issues is in the news. Hopefully you won't have issues down the line.
