Following the success of our last video, Kevin and I decided it was time to collaborate again. However, instead of talking about watches as investments, I wanted to bring him to multiple boutiques in the Miami Design District to have some fun while shopping around for timepieces. I hope you all have as much fun watching it as we had shooting it.

Hey everyone, I hope you enjoy living vicariously through Kevin's shopping as much as I did. What was your favorite watch of the three stops?
Seiko 5 duh
That is a fantastic continuation of the first interview. Great job Teddy.
@@nakazatotakeshi4286 HAHAHA Affordable Watch shopping coming soon
@@armancz Thank you my friend. I didn’t want to talk about Rolex, AP, and Patek again so this format made sense to me.
definitely that blue jlc, i guess i can dream
This is the new Sneaker Shopping with Complex and I am loving it
Haha except you have to add a couple zeros on everything we looked at. That said, would love to do something for affordable watches too. That would be actually fun.
@@TeddyBaldassarre please do one for affordable watches!
Broke boys go shopping for shoes
Successful men go shopping for watches haha
@@dre8160 I get you could find an entry level watch for the price of the shoes!
yes! having a variety of guests would be amazing, from having new people get introduced into watches and having people with a collection already fan girl over watches
Kevin: How much?
your soul
Kevin: Reasonable
Kevin: “What soul?”
Lol wonderful.
I'm sitting here in my maison, watching Le RUclips with my téléphone.
Lmao
As un French i found this le funny

😂😂😂😂
“I think they’ve always been on their game” ....Teddy not wanting to get booted out of JLC
DrFeelGood i laughed so hard at that moment hahahahahaha
Teddy couldn’t stand for that comment.
Lmfao I know I laughed hard to
Kevin O'Leary is the type of "connoisseur" who sees a Rolex on the wrist of some mumble rapper and starts to believe that it is the epitome of high horology. Seems like a nice enough chap but it's clear that he doesn't really know anything about the less trendy/flashy Maisons.
@@srw6772 the part about Grand Seiko inventing high horological had me in tears, and I love GS.
Wanna come Casio shopping with me at my local TK Maxx, Teddy?
Honestly sounds like a fun video. I did a shooting at Walmart vid.
@@TeddyBaldassarre I saw that and I was shocked why you was waiting so long for service😂😂😂😇😇😇
do you mean TJ MAX?
@@jayunitedwestand1810 TK Maxx in other countries
That’s a contest waiting to happen. Put your name in the comments, Teddy comes over and goes under $100 shopping with you.
Teddy & Kevin have remarkable on-screen chemistry! I feel like they're both so passionate about watches and you can tell how much much they are enjoying doing this video.
No idea why, but watching both of them discuss about watches is just so calming. So nice to see two people talk about something so passionately.
I love how speechless he gets when holding these watches. He can have any of these yet remains totally in awe.
Jerad Mitchell and that, I think, is the way to collect: to do it out of love and appreciation for the craftsmanship, not buying just for the sake of growing a collection.
Teddy you continue to impress me. One of the most diverse watches RUclipsr! Such a different take on the standard "talk about watches sitting behind a desk"
I wanted to play around with this format. Thought it could bring a nice twist to the standard content we see.
@@TeddyBaldassarre I love how much you interact with these comments too! Bravo
@@deantjewie I try my best to dedicate at least 30 min to an hour after posting to responding. Or at least as much as I can.
Teddy looking like Q from James Bond
Hahaha two videos in a row 😂
Still
Thank you I was like I've seen him somewhere
He looks like Fabiano Caruana so bad
I never thought this much of O'Leary and I'm sorry for that. He speaks beautifully about watches and I would listen to it for hours. And you can see why he's such a good investor and entrepreneur - he's not afraid to change his stance when it is justifiable.
Kevin: How much?
Clerk: 37 thousand
Kevin: That's not bad! That's reasonable
lol man I wish I was rich
He isn't just rich, he is shockingly rich. The kind of money he has makes millionaires shake.
MrDooMixy Kevin is still a millionaire...
@@kyt6087 Yeah, but being a 9 digit millionaire. Almost half a billion dollars. Most millionaires have a couple of mills.

Love the elegant way Kevin explains how he feels and how he rationalizes his assessment of time peices.
Teddy is as usual going to next level in his career. Great job
This guy... evertime he spits out „Maison“ I choke on my croissant.
"Cwasaaant"
ahahahaha agree
lmao
Omg HAHAHA! You made me drop my baguette!
Even though he was born in Montreal, Quebec?
I just googled "Price on Request". The way he just "requested" it biggest flex than any rapper with a chain around his neck.
🎯🎯🎯
Don’t know how you did it, but damn you’re soaring now
Nothing but hard work! Thanks for watching David.
Network quality production and intelligent wristwatch content. "He's growing up so fast!"
Cleveland baby, that’s why
Kevin is working hard at building a RUclips following (smart move) so he is taking the time to collab with people that will help build his following
Not sure how he did it either. He's not even that knowledgable about watches.
Some of the most under-appreciated content on RUclips right now. Super high production quality, fun to watch, and good chemistry between the two of you. Well done, Teddy.
Thank you Nick! Kevin is a fun guy to hang with too. He genuinely loves watches and I think he has an entertaining personality that provides good color to these. Thanks for watching!
I will predict Kevin talks CNBC into a 30 min version of this type of content soon
Props to the interviewer, the guest, but mostly to videographer who put this together. It looks like a professional video you would see on netflix or even TV. Awesome stuff Teddy, moving up in the world quite a bit for sure.
The way Mr Wonderful treated him as a man even though he's young is why he's called wonderful
I loved how respectful and professional they were to each other
Was he Wonderful when his speedboat killed a bunch of people?

Great job Teddy so cool to see you with him!
Thanks Stephen. Still use your products all the time!!
Kevin he sound very arrogant and using bad languages he looks like a mob
I am just watching the video to hear Kevin say collectionéeeeeeeee
Hahaha he was more tame this time. But he found a new word 😂
@@TeddyBaldassarre Maison
Don't forget the 'maison'
At 27:07 he says i guess..
I’ve watched this video multiple times now. Classic. So well done in every facet of production & presentation
Actually in one of the previous episodes he literally said that everybody including him will use their phone to tell the time but he likes to a wear a watch bcz he appreciates the dial
Teddy, dude, this is perfection. The candid conversation, the way you both play off one another, is something I could watch hours of. I'm not even a big watch guy but the content keeps me watching. I believe someone in the comments said that this is equal to Complex's Sneaker Shopping and I cannot agree more. Amazing content man. Well done.
We’re barely into 2020 and Teddy is already doing more than most watch channels will do in 5 years. Outstanding work.
This is really one of the best videos about watches that I have ever seen. So many incredible pieces and the pleasure to discuss them with Kevin O'Leary.
I love how much love Grand Seiko gets in this video.
I’m late to the game, but I haven’t seen anyone talk about the sheer volume of prep you’ve done Teddy to make these videos great. Knowing so many of the details of the watches to keep Kevin engaged was superb- well done!
dude stop i have to study for the exams :'(
Study for exams and come back. I don’t miss those days studying.
Teddy Baldassarre what is your opinion about Raymond Weil Don Giovanni Cosi Grande. Thank you.
LMAO
41:07 I'm proud of you Teddy for wearing your seat belt even though O'Leary wasn't.
C Miller safety first!
too bad if there was to be a crash oleary would become a flying sak of potatoes and kill teddy anyway
“85, not bad.” For him maybe, for me, very very bad.
Were they talking $8500 or $85,000?

Both teddy and KOL have a killer taste that balance each other so well. We need part 2 now.
You are slowly becoming the face of watch channels on RUclips!
I appreciate that buddy. There are some other great ones too. I think we all win with our continued growth.
@@TeddyBaldassarre watch out for Marc Gebauer from Germany hahaha

Watching this 2 years later. Brilliantly made video, watches were exquisite, fun and knowledgeable chemistry from the both of you. Really enjoyed this. Thanks.
I gotta say, with a series like this, you are giving Hodinkees "Talking Watches" a run for their money. Keep it up. I would love to see new guests.
@Teddy Baldassarre This May be the single best collaboration in the entire watch community. I want to see SO MUCH MORE of you and Kevin! You guys are in a groove!!!
I love the Kevin talks. He's so calm and smooth while talking.
He may come off as pretentious with his french words but he seems like a really nice guy so can't really be mad at that
I can NOT stop watching this! Great great job for watch people guys! Please do more of these with Kevin
I am quite impressed at Teddy's ability to speak to the details of the pieces. Good job.
Incredible video Teddy! I love how this video is from the perspective of the watch enthusiast, not the investor. This is how I approach my watches, not what is popular, trendy, or will retain the most value, but rather what watches speak to me when I pick them up and handle them. That watch that makes an impression on me, not how it impresses anyone else.
Summed up my thoughts exactly with this format. Doing a video like this could not come off well if not done right, but I think this also showed Kevin's true colors as a collector too.
I love that scene in “The Thomas Crown Affair” (Pierce Brosnan Rene Russo) where Thomas Crown (Brosnan) is flipping his JLC Reverso at the dinner table as he waits for Russo to return...
Love Kevin and his enthusiasm. Happy to see "Part 1" in the title as well.
Absolutely amazing content you and and Kevin is creating. Pure gold, hope you two can make this a regular series.
Damn, 40 minutes just FLEW by like nothing! Thanks for the amazing content!
Teddy - once again, this is crazy good stuff! The chemistry between the two of you and the brands you selected, awesome combo!
First time I watched this video none of these words meant anything to me: Lange 1, tourbillon, FP Journe, Jae LC, reverso etc.
Year later, and having learned great deal about watches (thanks Teddy), it’s even more amazing to realize the absolute masterpieces they’re holding here. This is gold!
Wow it’s amazing how teddy makes this interview so natural. Great content!
“Dripping in gold” usually makes the watch look too gaudy. I agree with Mr. O’Leary. It must be the face that makes the statement. 👍
Damn, the Lange buckle is worth more than my entire collection
and that proves how ridiculously overpriced they are. How much did it cost to make? 50 bucks for material and couple man hours at most (even added all the r and d hours divided by all the buckles)
@@tomjens2046 exactly
@ajloveswatches Missed the buckle wss platinum. Ok lets make it 200 bucks. No difference when the argument is 10,000 price.
@ajloveswatches the buckle 100 grams? I was thinking more like 5 or10 grams. 100 grams maybe would be whole metal bracelet, but not the buckle of a leather strap
@ajloveswatches well we argued about the price and weight of the buckle. So not sure why you were mentioning 100 grams and 3500 usd for those 100 grams if you thought buckle was 10 grams. You would have said 10 grams and 350 usd in that case.
Every now and then I come back to watch this episode. Love the content!
41 minutes and 25 seconds! It went by and I didn't even realise!! A great video Teddy!
I got so damn excited and started laughing when Kevin placed an order for his first VC watch ♥️
Admit it,this is not the first time you are seeing this.
I’ve never been one who understands watching people shop, on RUclips. I love watches and getting to see these amazing watches with all the tidbits about them, I’m a subscriber now.
This video is so fun!
You two have great chemistry and the love for watches is contagious!

Teddy, I think it is great that you found a mentor. Kevin is definitely helping make this channel great!
The know-how of Teddy and the financial muscle of Kevin - this could be an interesting shopping trip!
This really reminds me of the show “sneaker shopping”, but on a next level. What other rich celebrity will you take shopping next!?
Amazing production! I would love to see this into a series with different watch connoisseurs. You're taking it to another level.
Great content Teddy! Keep them coming, 40 minutes just went by without me noticing!
It's to see you grow so much! You deserve this and more. And thank you to bring such an amazing piece.
Thank you Dino! I appreciate your support buddy. This took weeks to put together so quite a bit of work to get this done.
Love hearing Kevin's respect for Grand Seiko. Please don't hype it too much though I want to be able to afford one someday!

Great job Teddy! This video auto played on my iPhone’s RUclips when I was napping, and the conversation caught my attention. Then I woke up and watch the entire 41mins video without skipping. Love your work!
You can clearly see that Kevin thinks he knows more than he actually does, but he's not obnoxious and is open enough to new information :)
He really is close to the edge of being obnoxious but never fully crossed the line. Ted has 10 times the class with a fraction of the money.
Wow, i didnt expect to watch the whole thing without skipping.

Good for you Teddy, you've come a long way.....keep it coming
Teddy, you are a great interviewer and are clearly able to develop rapport with the people you talk to. Your knowledge of the watches only makes it better! Keep doing your thing!
Great video! I love hearing Mr. Wonderful wax poetic about watches for their intrinsic value rather than for their monetary worth. Well done Teddy! 👏👏👏
