Hi everyone, thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed my adventures shopping around with Kevin. What do you want to see in the future from this series? More episodes with Kevin? Different brands? Please leave comments and thanks again for all your support!
I've very much enjoyed these episodes with Kevin. I believe if you had the opportunity to make him a "regular" guest on your channel would be excellent. That said I think that the way you go about putting these together everyone is going to enjoy whomever you choose to get together with.
I would love to make a suggestion as I like watching your brand grow. Take Kevin to Switzerland have him talk about his upbringing there while touring famous watch manufacturers. I know it has its expenses but the horological value and Kevin's rich story telling abilities would create a once in a lifetime experience for both of you and it would make for a great video series. You could break up the video like this into 5 to 10 videos to recoup the cost. Advertising each video weekly to increase viewer retention. Also I filled out your watch strap questionnaire. You have some real winners in there and I think you did a great job of providing versatility to appeal to a wide range of buyers.
YAI YAI YAI I don’t know, the GS spring drive was the worst watch I ever owned. GS has horrible customer service, warranty doesn’t cover the internal magnets. Mine stopped from magnetized or demagnetized internal magnets from traveling through an airport scanner. GS charged me $880 to recharge the internal magnets, the watch was barely a year old, had to be sent to Japan and took over 2 months. Still love my regular Seiko watches the ones made in Japan are still a great value. But buying a $10,000 watch should get you better customer service, a warranty that covers the main part of the movement and at least some magnetic protection. Mine was the GS SBGC221. I sold this watch and a Rolex Anniversary Submariner, I definitely do not miss the GS or wish I kept it. Picked up an aquanaut in their place, now that’s a great watch.
Peter Choma woah, can see what you mean for sure, what a let down. I heard you can get this easily done with IWC pilot watches. I’ve never had to with mine but now I’m curious
YAI YAI YAI the only other watch I’ve ever had to demagnetize was a Rolex and I dropped it off at my AD on Monday and picked it up Wednesday, no charge. So GS was a shock.
I bought my first Grand Seiko recently (sbgk005) and absolutely love it. But I hope your experience was a fluke, because they have to have customer service that is equal to the luxury standard of other companies if they wish to succeed.
You’ve found a good friend in Kevin. Amazingly fun to watch multi-millionaires that you see on TV just being real and hanging out with a guy on RUclips for many hours and videos. You’re a lucky man!!

Probably the most fascinating video on unique time/art pieces I've ever seen. Amazing job donne here! And I fell in love with that entry level fp journe watch.
Lav True, but it doesn’t mean you’re not a collector... I found it a little derogatory towards the vast majority of people who have to save for ages before affording a piece... what these rich people do is watch buying not collecting
@@kevin_howell I hear you! What did Archie Luxury say in his one on one interview with Teddy? "It's [collecting] gotta hurt for it to be meaningful". I saved for 5 years to afford my Explorer 1, and another six after that for my first (and most likely only) high-end precious metal Parmigiani Fleurier. Next will be either a GS or a JLC, whenever the coffers get replenished 😁😁😁😁
Country Prepper Fully agree. Once the nowelty of the super rich wears off and they are onto another maison Journe will wish to sell any watch to the avarage Joe.
Cool to watch, but the last seen when kevin shows his 4, it turned me off, it snapped and became warped and just hyper biased. Sounds almost like kevin was trying to drive the price up or some weird strange addiction like a guy eating cat hair

Yeah FPJ is like the pseudo watch enthusiasts name brand to name to seem like they know what they are talking about. Hardly rare. Now in perspective to some other brands sure they are more rare but are easily available and all over the secondary market. The 1 of 10 FPJ statement is a marketing ploy and in fact every boutique only receives 10 per year of the limited edition series and there are quite a lot of boutiques so you do the math but it’s no we’re near only 1 of 10 produced.
He's right about Grand Seiko being Patek quality, at least in terms of dial and case finishing. Great series.
Why is noone talking about what is Teddy showing on the thumbnail with his hands😂
David Gjerek you’re right, he’s flippin’ the bird!!! 😨
These are really my fav new videos and I hope they never run out
Would love to see him introduced to Roger Smith and his watches
Yes!! I mentioned that to him. There some independents he still needs to look into. De Bethune might resonate with him.
Roger smith is a genius. FP is a crazy genius. Love them both.
Probably the most fascinating video on unique time/art pieces I've ever seen. Amazing job donne here! And I fell in love with that entry level fp journe watch.
Tourist of a brand... what a ridiculous statement.
Well tbh it kinda makes sense. Your not a collector of a brand if you only have 1
Lav True, but it doesn’t mean you’re not a collector...
@@kevin_howell Don't be snowflake.
marcustya88 lol 😂
This video was utterly fascinating. This is one of your best collabs with Mr. W, Teddy. I learned so much about FPJ.
He doesn't care, I don't care. I would not consider buying anything from any company that expects me to behave a certain way to attain it.
Country Prepper Fully agree. Once the nowelty of the super rich wears off and they are onto another maison Journe will wish to sell any watch to the avarage Joe.
@@golfraven5669 yes just like Jacob and company. Check out producer Micheal buy like 15 or more on the cheap 👍👍
Fantastic interview please keep the videos coming with Kevin, so much knowledge between the both of you extremely interesting.
Cool to watch, but the last seen when kevin shows his 4, it turned me off, it snapped and became warped and just hyper biased. Sounds almost like kevin was trying to drive the price up or some weird strange addiction like a guy eating cat hair
Ive never liked these types of videos - shipping with a rich guy.. They always tend to emphasise on their wealth. Thus man talks aboit art, nothing more! Even when he said he buys a portfolio - the context was again about art, so... One of your best videos ever, Teddy!
