I think Daiwa is better, because this $99 BG reel can compete and be better than $200+ reels sometimes. If you take the Shimano Nasci or nearly any other $99 reel and compare it to the Daiwa BG, the Daiwa is most likely going to be objectively better. Also the BG and other Daiwa reels are usually bigger than other reels in the same size. The 3000 BG is more comparable to the 4000 Stradic. Having the same exact line capacity, but the BG being over 2 ounces heavier at 10.8 oz, and only having 15lb's of drag compared to the Stradic with 24lbs of drag. I do think 15lb's is sufficient though, and Shimano does go overkill with their drag usually. Another downside to the Stradic though is that 4000 is it's biggest size, while the biggest BG size is 8000.
I know right... I think it's annoying when some people say a shimano or any other reel is better because it has 20+ lb's of drag for a small size. That's just nonsense and marketing because that many lb's is highly impractical, and as you said it will just break the reel probably. I mainly use 2500 size reels, and I normally use 3 - 4 pounds of drag..
I could maybe see the Stradic FK's handle that much drag because they're made with aluminum and they're pretty tough and rigid. But like I said, 20+ lb's of drag is highly impractical regardless and it's just used for marketing probably.
I've seen my friend's BG do some things I never thought I'd ever see a 99$ reel do. And in the 3000 size. Mainly...Last a full season and a half beating on thousands of pounds of stripers and bluefish....It just recently died. I'd never fish a 3k reel for those types of fish. But for 99$ it blew my mind that for a year and a half it kept pace with my Saltiga 4k. He had a much larger penn battle 2 that shit the bed with sheared gear teeth and rusted ar clutch about a month into it's first season (hence why he started using the bg)
They are not the same size... Just try their biggest size daiwa 6500 vs shimano 20.000 they are the same size same class The daiwa 4000 are 6000 shimano size And 4500 daiwa = 8000 shimano
i own both. a 4000stradic but a 5000bg. and my bg is favoured over my twin power. ive caught many fish over the 10kg mark, drag is smooth and more then sufficient in stopping a big fish. bot to say the stradic isnt a top reel, i use it for the same fishing but the bg feels likes it handles better. sydney jewfish is what i chase with them.
Useless comparison as Daiwa abd Shimano have different sizing therefore you can not compare a Daiwa 4000 to a Shimano 4000. The with the Stardom, when you cast you empty the spool ??? Man I would like to see that one day, please make a video of it...
Like everyone say’s that two reels are different sizes and different prices can’t put them against each other.I own several of the CI4s - FJ’s-FK’s and the new BG’s all in that 4000and 5000 sizes...the oldest that I have would be my FJ’s that I have overhauled already... which gave me many years of brutal saltwater fishing(all of them)... the BG is the newest since they came out and so far it has held up with out any noise or failure internally.i have bought the CI-4’s specifically for the lightness and smoothness it provides... on the other hand the FJ’s weight wasn’t much of a factor.... although I don’t have as much so called saltwater mileage on the newer BG yet only time will tell. I don’t believe comparing these two totally different reel is warranted.... I am happy to see there’s a lot of different types of reels on the market and with different price ranges to fit every fishing situation.... next time compare equivalent $ an size and it will b more accepted by everyone..😎
The Ci4+ is more of a freshwater reel whereas the BG is all encompassing, it ranges from 2500 all the way to 8000 size. Please note, do not confuse Daiwa's sizes with Shimano's. Daiwa's 8000 size is bigger than Shimano's 20000 size. That is why PK is always running out of line because the Shimano 4000 is just too small for serious surf fishing. Personally, I would look for a reel that can hold around 300 yards of 50 lbs braid. In the case of Daiwa, I would have gone for the 4500 (holds 270 yards of 50 lbs braid) as opposed to the 4000, apart from the additional line capacity, it also comes with 22 lbs of max drag.
additional spec about rotor: shimano rotor is made from CI4+ metarial which is called magnumlite ( not about the shape ) , BG rotor is made from hardened plastic which is cheap, air rotor means only about shape of the rotor not the material.
I've been fishing a daiwa ss 1600 for about 20 years. Only maintenance I've needed was yesterday when I noticed the bail wire screw came loose. That's all in 20 years! They make work horses. I don't need a new real. Gonna use mine till the ball bearings blow out and I'm gonna mount it next to my first trophy largemouth. Just looking for a real for my buddy. Good luck on the water everyone.
@@oregonlife you can still find them for $120 I was thinking I might grab for my friend. He's kinda new to fishing and it's a pretty bulletproof reel. Also... Wasn't expecting a reply so fast. Daiwa has more line capacity for an overall gear and more than $100 less, Daiwa is the winner. I had both Daiwa and Shimano in the past and they never failed me once.
Perhaps a more accurate and fair comparison would have been between 2 similarly priced 4000 sized reels. Shimano has several lower priced 4000 sized reels that would compare better with the Daiwa BG 4000. This would have been a moe "apples to apples" comparison. Normally, most buyers are comparing reels at similar price points. Thanks for the informative video anyways.
I can say one reel is better than the other, the Daiwa is clearly better, it casts further, it's cheaper and more suitable for sea fishing. The down side to the Shimano reels is their spools are too small, even for freshwater fishing, casting is limited.
there is a quick solution for using braided line : just wrap the spool with a basic teflon tape. it is an extremely cheap you can find it any hardware store.
i got both. I use my stradic on calm type of fishing, i mean shore, harbor, boat.. i use my daiwa on adventure fishing. where i can toss it, abuse. etc haha
No. Traditionally Daiwa reels run much bigger, until the LT series came along. So the 4000 Daiwa is more like a 5-6000 Shimano. I think the 3000 BG would have been a better comparison to the 4000 Stradic.
I own a Daiwa Bg but i can say its solid tho i find it a bit heavy. I was able to purchase a Ci4 for $217 but having second thoughts if i should get the Saltist Black Bay instead for $200 or spend a little bit more and get the Ballistic Lt. Since i need a setup for freelining live bait. Its so hard but of course by the end of the day you wont go wrong with any of these reels.
Huge different in price and categorie. My BG 4500 have more lines than Shimano Socorro 6000 ! Bought it because of its twin stopper. Will buy Okuma Azores because of it's twin stopper and twin drag washer on up and bottom of the spool, like the old D.A.M. reel
Ok really? Do you need 280yds of line to cast? Also not much of a comparison because one is more than twice $$ than the other. Basically not in the same class. Also the ci4+ is more of a finesse reel and the BG is a heavy duty type reel. They are very different. If you are comparing the Stradic to another reel, the Tatula or the Ballistic or even the Abu STX would've been a much better comparison.
i'll go for the metal reel all the time, even fishing for flounder {fluke} i've hooked up with blues and bass and stingrays. i find plastic reels flex on anything over eight lbs or so. no problem with the aluminum 4000 BG, its a beast.
Put a 30lbs braid shock leader on the stradic. Connect a 30lbs braid to a 10lbs or a 15lbs braid. I would go for the stradic anytime just because of the light weight and the drag. I found that the stradic let out the line more smoother. Big drag with small spool for line vs small drag with big spool for line:)
Excelente bro the sizes it's important becouse daiwa are bigger than shimano and I see not much difference between both. Definitely more line capacity in a small reel it's such an advantage
Wow, love your video. But after seeing your video, now I don't know which one to get. Love Shimano light weight and love Daiwa longer cast... Now it leave me with one question, which one handle the bigger fish better?
I have a rod where i need to squeeze the stradic into the real seat does the diawa have a longer attachment seat, it won't fit my rod if its even a millimeter bigger than stradic 4000 anyone compared this ?
Hi PK, I just purchased a ci4 4000, the clip on the side of the reel where you can clip on to fishing line have a white piece of plastic , am I suppose to remove that white plastic? or is it there on purpose to help hold on line once clipped on?
I mean it kinda goes to show the value of the Daiwa BG! I just bought the CI4 and love it but may have to pick up a BG as well for some of my backup rods but now running into the "how much fishing gear do I need?" question.
So recently, I decided to get back into fishing. My goal is to buy a rod/reel combo that can be used for all purpose (freshwater/saltwater, surf fishing, inshore/offshore, charter/private, yellow fin tuna/dolphinfish, etc). With that being said, I did some extensive research and decided I want to get the Daiwa BG reel. But, I can't decide if I want a 4000, 4500, or 5000. Any recommendation on which model to get, and also which rod to get as well?
LOLLL!!!jaja what lb braid do you want used? go to BG5000 and 50lb braid! or for 70lb medium tuna=bg8000/80lb braid, both fast retrieve.....for more power to jigging=low ratio as SPHEROS10000
ok!, i have stradic fa very good!, do you recomended size medium reel 580-730grs and fast ratio? only bg5000?640grs.....not exist spheros/saragosa 10000 fast ratio!!maybe in 2018! saragosa 6000 is more small and 200$....okuma azores 90(guys say that pinion gear bad quality?)?...or others models?regards,spain
I bought a BG for 70 bucks and they had one left and said I can get it for 56 bucks I do have the Ci4 and my grandson took it to the beach and I heard a tiny grind when he got back so I cleaned the line roller bearing and put some corrosion block on it and no noise very quiet and I said next time talk the Daiwa im not afraid that it will get dirty and I got it for well under a hundred bucks. ~tight lines I also have the Stradic FL 5000 and don’t take it to saltwater although im 15 miles from the beach
I can't take a review seriously when right from the start, the comparison is flawed. Daiwa sizes are different to Shimano. Shimano 4k = Daiwa 3k... Daiwa 4k = Shimano 6k. So instantly, weights and line capacities cannot be compared. Bot are great reels though.
Martin Kennealy is that explicitly stated by manufacturers? anyhow, there are many beginning fisherman out there who have little to no knowledge about reels. just like not every 4 cylinder vehicles are going to have the same specs (HP, seating capacity, etc). but these reels *ARE* marked as *4000* size, so that's what most fisherman (especially beginners too) will focus on as a starting point for a comparison - and ultimately come to their own conclusion. the point of this video is to highlight these differences and let beginners come to their own conclusions; because we all have different levels of knowledge about fishing.
Cool... Even more important then, to emphasise (specifically to the beginners) the fact that Daiwa and Shimano do NOT use the same numbering designations. I have never seen this explicitly stated by a manufacturer but it is well accepted within the industry... (a quick Google search will shed some more light here) I'll run thru the main numbers on DAIWA vs SHIMANO so that your viewers can roughly compare apples with apples, even if they are different varieties of apple: Daiwa/Shimano 1500 = 2000 2000 = 2500 2500 = 3000 3000 = 4000 3500 = 5000 4000 = 6000 4500 = 8000 5000 = 10000 6000 = 14000 6500 = 18000/20000 7000 = 20000/25000 8000/9000 = 30000 The sizing comparison is a little fuzzy in the last few sizes. Added to this, a few spinning reel ranges from both manufacturers move completely off this numbering system.
For me, it doesn't have to be a perfect comparison, to see the major differences. Take it as a general review of two different product lines. For example, if you correct those things you mentioned, most of his points remain.
i have a c14+ and a fj and a symetre.very smooth reels,easy to disassemble for clean and lube but the bearings suck big time.had to replace all on each reel.they go bad in less than a year and that is with constant lube and clean.so keep that in mind.my friends all had the same problem with theirs.i am not buyin anymore shimanos
I know your brand preferences. But I would like an honest opinion on the quantum vapor spinning. I know I know but humor me. I've been a quantum guy for over 20 years. I'm a 3 to 4 times a week fisherman. In every weather condition in the 4 seasons area. I fish every species available to me in in the m,d,v area. From creek chubs for live bait to potomac brackish strippers. My greatest day fishing was 37 carp. All over 8lbs and a dozen over 30lbs. All my fish have been caught on quantum reels and have several in regular rotation over 7 years old. With no rebuilds and practically zero maintenance. I know it sounds like bragging but it is to only show that other brands have some contenders to diawa and shimano. Hell.... I even use shimano brakes on my mountain bike. Please give me your on hands opinion on the quantum vapor because I just bought one for my daughter to start the trout fishing season.
They are different reels. One is finesse, other is a winch. One is made from composite, called CI4, other is metal. You compare a F-150 with a Camry, total different fishing applications.
2 daiwa bg for the price of 1 shimano !!! make your choice dude !!!!both made in.china....probably in the same factory ... i have bg daiwa for 1 year now.. just change the oil inside !! cause is crap oil .. clean up after heavy use !!no water is getting inside!! and you will keep it for life time .. i recomended penn oil for your reel ... greatings from.france
THe BG beats the Battle 2 hands down in almost every way. Most importantly it handles and manages braid much better. Penn spinnners suffer from a design flaw in which the line roller may not be centered. Causing gaps at the top or bottm. Even with a well centered roller they don't lay line as cleanly. I'm a believer that 99% of wind knot are user error. Unless it's a penn reel. If the battle was 60$ i'd say go for it. But it's an easy choice in the 99$ range. The bg stands out as the clear best saltwater value
Don't forget to compare the price points. Most of us don't need what we get for an extra 100 bucks. Better? Sure, but the question is, is it twice as good? For me, for sure, no way. But to each his own I suppose
One thing that was failed to be mentioned is shimano spools are designed to cast further by having an angled lip at the top of the spool. This causes less friction which gives you a smoother cast.
I have a biomaster c3000hg and a daiwa bg 2500. Same spool size. Roughly same weight. Just that the BG has a one piece handle, and it has bushings instead of bearing in the line roller and the roller support is not a thin piece of aluminum. If you subject some of the 3000 size Shimano on a lot of use (Catching 1 to 3 kg trevally/queenfish/tarpon/ladyfish/groupers) I found that the line roller bearing breaks and the support tends to bend. I have repaired a couple of stradic CI4 with the problem, now it happened to my biomaster. So I switched to a Daiwa BG now and testing it.
you are comparing wrong size. Daiwa 4000 is shimano 6000. Also Stradic is higher model than BG series. You should compare Stradic 4000 with Caldia 3000 to be compared. Try Caldia 3000 LT series with Stradic and see what you think.
bro i have shimano stradic 4000 i put on it YGK braid 40LB 200meter use YGK with the stradic very strog and much more line i use it with big fishs also very good with much line as i said but use YGK
Shimano 4000 is comparable to daiwa 2500 or 3000, Daiwa BG uses the same ball bearings as found in a saltiga and Shimano Stella, this Daiwa BG kills a Shimano stradic, shimano claim for drag power is very optimistic, Shimano ci4 material is basically plastic, the Daiwa has a metal body, the Daiwa wins hands down
Graeme Hodgson ...im a diawa fan....but had a try at my dads stradic vs my bg...and by far the stradic was way smoother and lighter...but in saying that it cost twice as much .... :/
Unless Tackle Advisor does a full teardown review and recommends it, pass. Rotors in BG are breaking on people. Diawa advertises as lighter, but using plastic is a cheap production cost solution when everyone knows aluminum is most ideal for saltwater and is as light.
Seriously….comparing a reel that costs twice as much as another one is not fair…. I have both BG’s and Shimanos….. your not comparing apples to oranges here… so what is the point. My favorite spinner is the Stradic FL ( for the money)… but if we are just talking price point, no comparison, any time, any way…BG wins…. Still pick up my Stradic first for overall smoothness
jonnywaselectric Its a saltwater specific reel. The stradic is also made to be used as a finesse reel in some applications. The Shimano Nasci would be a better comparison, this video is kinda pointless
The bg is the best value going. It's the best value since the early 2000's when the stradic retailed at 105$ and Symetre was 70$ and the same exact reel minus a sideplate bearing. The Stradic ci 4 is a very light reel. And it incorporates a worm gear oscillation system. And a forged main gear. Shimanos worm gear oscillation does lay line in such a way that you'll get more distance. And it will manage ligther/ thinner diameter lines in such a way that if you aren't good with line management. YOu'll get less "wind knots" And yeah..the ci4 is smoother for what it's worth.
always bet on shimano. their drag clicker is always consistently loud and the build quality and materials used will always be better than daiwa. that being said the cheaper daiwa rods are better than the cheap (low end) shimano rods.
Stradic is much better or maybe best than daiwa bg. Coz the high quality of body and gear is the best for a reel. Why daiwa has a bigger spool coz they cant hold a strong drag. And the handle of daiwa is easily lose in a over cranking power. I use both in jigging for some experemental. Shimano is the best..
I enjoyed some of your videos but emptying the reel on a single cast is ridiculous get with the facts. Now being afraid that a monster is going to run you out yes. Amazing reel both as a matter of fact but like someone said totally different reels.

i'll go for the metal reel all the time, even fishing for flounder {fluke} i've hooked up with blues and bass and stingrays. i find plastic reels flex on anything over eight lbs or so. no problem with the aluminum 4000 BG, its a beast.
You lost me at “these are the same size”
Apparently this guy is not informed about Daiwa sizes before the LT series.
Thanks for the video, going to buy the bg cant afford a shimano. Value for money you could by 2 bg for the price of a shimano.
I bought a bg 2000 for light saltwater fishing 6 months ago has had one splash of water both handle bearings are fucking and crunchy.
I'll go with the bg
would love to hear your thoughts on the nasci vs bg. thx pk👍
Vichea Chim
The stradic cant handle its advertised full drag, and if it could a balanced rod for it would not be able to handle the pressure either.
That depends on how you fight the fish.
Bg easy
running like of line when you cast with the shimano? you can probably break world record then
170 yards of line and 1 yard equals 3 feet so you can cast a lure 510 feet. wow false
@@steveevans4932 it's not hard if you're using one of those single hook spoons. Like those silver minnow weedless spoons.
The way you fish, why not use a saragosa? Same price as the stradic but a more waterproof reel
I have a rod where i need to squeeze the stradic into the real seat does the diawa have a longer attachment seat, it won't fit my rod if its even a millimeter bigger than stradic 4000 anyone compared this ?
You can't compare a Porche to a Honda. Can you compare a BG4000 to a Penn Battle 2 4000?
Daiwas better than the battle 2 look up alan hawk,he's a spinning reel guru,knows his stuff.
Bg is just monster!! To me baitcasting reel is shimano and spinning reel is daiwa.
True man
Hi PK, I just purchased a ci4 4000, the clip on the side of the reel where you can clip on to fishing line have a white piece of plastic , am I suppose to remove that white plastic? or is it there on purpose to help hold on line once clipped on?
The line clip on the *spool* you mean? that's for holding line, don't rip it off (and mine is black plastic ---- not white)
sorry yes on the spool
my bad, I see it now. I left mine on.
It seems absurd to me, to compare a reel with another, that doubles the price or vice versa, or whatever brand.
I mean it kinda goes to show the value of the Daiwa BG! I just bought the CI4 and love it but may have to pick up a BG as well for some of my backup rods but now running into the "how much fishing gear do I need?" question.
Daiwa 4000 is way bigger than a shimano 4000 la. I think must compare to shimano 8000?
daiwa is stronger, cheaper, bigger size. bottom fishing , go daiwa
I used to buy Stradics until they started getting carried away with their prices. Who cares if the bg is heavier.
William Munny I do
The whole 2 ounces
That's my main concern with quality
Grabbed a Daiwa BG2500 for $69.99 to the door....no brainer purchase. It makes my old Penn 4400ss feel like a real clunker!
Whoa... the I like both but what are you comparing?
Thanks for posting, any thoughts about the Daiwa Saltist, same sizes?
I don't own a saltist, so I really can't comment. Maybe when I get one in the future, I'll do a review/comparison.
You run out of line casting with 20lb braid on your Stradic ? What are you casting? You must be a tournament caster.
I've never used daiwas, just shimanos, but I've got to try a daiwa
I bought a diawa revros and it is a bad ass real quick response smooth drag 69 dollars can't beat it
So recently, I decided to get back into fishing.
Do you have any reviews about the new Shimano Sedona fi3000.
ok!, i have stradic fa very good!, do you recomended size medium reel 580-730grs and fast ratio? only bg5000?640grs.....not exist spheros/saragosa 10000 fast ratio!!maybe in 2018!
saragosa 6000 is more small and 200$....okuma azores 90(guys say that pinion gear bad quality?)?...or others models?regards,spain
(a quick Google search will shed some more light here) I'll run thru the main numbers on DAIWA vs SHIMANO so that your viewers can roughly compare apples with apples, even if they are different varieties of apple:
Daiwa/Shimano
1500 = 2000
2000 = 2500
2500 = 3000
3000 = 4000
3500 = 5000
4000 = 6000
4500 = 8000
5000 = 10000
6000 = 14000
6500 = 18000/20000
7000 = 20000/25000
8000/9000 = 30000
The sizing comparison is a little fuzzy in the last few sizes. Added to this, a few spinning reel ranges from both manufacturers move completely off this numbering system.
For me, it doesn't have to be a perfect comparison, to see the major differences. Take it as a general review of two different product lines. For example, if you correct those things you mentioned, most of his points remain.
Martin Kennealy Thx for the chart comparison I’m a shimboy fan but I think I’ll try out the bg this year
i have a c14+ and a fj and a symetre.very smooth reels,easy to disassemble for clean and lube but the bearings suck big time.had to replace all on each reel.they go bad in less than a year and that is with constant lube and clean.so keep that in mind.my friends all had the same problem with theirs.i am not buyin anymore shimanos
Please give me your on hands opinion on the quantum vapor because I just bought one for my daughter to start the trout fishing season.
i got my new 3000 BG it has some handle play and the gears are clanking.. its smooth tho... is that normal?
Tala Tala that’ll be completely normal, shimano, Daiwa will have some little play in the parts
@pk yi can we user the Stradict 3000 spool on the 2500 reel?
SHould not be a problem. Same size frame and rotor
Daiwa is the best buy here if you don't need an ultra light 4000 reel.
They are different reels. One is finesse, other is a winch. One is made from composite, called CI4, other is metal.
You compare a F-150 with a Camry, total different fishing applications.
Bg4000 up for botton and surf.
Bg3500 for lure lightweight inshore.
Shimano Stradic FL 5000 or Daiwa Saltist 3000 ?
Price and line distant, i'm cheap so i'm going for the Daiwa.
FYI~ Shimano made in Malaysia....not china
When will you go freshwater fishing at like Dawson road?
I hope to do that soon. Been caught up with some personal stuff in life.
bg or battle 2? stuck in between the 2
THe BG beats the Battle 2 hands down in almost every way.
Tackle Advisors hey sir, can u give me some opinion about daiwa bg & shimano stradic? im so confused right which one i should buy 🤦🏼♂️
Don't forget to compare the price points. Most of us don't need what we get for an extra 100 bucks. Better? Sure, but the question is, is it twice as good? For me, for sure, no way. But to each his own I suppose
Should make a video Playlist just for reviews
So which one is the true 4000 size ?
shimano. diawa runs big
One thing that was failed to be mentioned is shimano spools are designed to cast further by having an angled lip at the top of the spool. This causes less friction which gives you a smoother cast.
So does the bg.. Dummy
I am from India I want to get this how to get and how much price Indian price
I wanna reel that will last taking on big bass
How abt compared to Abu Gracia
You run out of line when you cast? Doesn’t seem possible.
Maybe he is using 80 pound mono lol
Great review.. Thank you
may I just point out the Stradic 4000 weighs 8 ounce while the Stradic 4000 CI4+ wieghs only 4 ounce.
Ci4 4000 weighs 8 oz.
My stradic 4000 fits 330 yards of braid
hi sir im a fan of fishing i never been into jigging pls sponsor sone used reel and rod plsss
I want the BG3000 so much... its 140 euros here. Dont have the money for it...
you are comparing wrong size.
a decent review at last. cheers
You're using a really thick line.
Try using YGK wires.
I think it does NOT make sense to compare a $100 reel with a $250 reel
Metal body bg over a graphite stradic anyday!
BG, less than half price, holds more line, has more drag
jonnywaselectric Its a saltwater specific reel. The stradic is also made to be used as a finesse reel in some applications. The Shimano Nasci would be a better comparison, this video is kinda pointless
BG isn't saltwater specific. Not in the least.
The nasci a compromise? What are you basing that on?
Lex Cooper this video is not pointless at all, why pay 100 dollars more because one is lighter.
William Munny igsactly
The bg is the best value going. It's the best value since the early 2000's when the stradic retailed at 105$ and Symetre was 70$ and the same exact reel minus a sideplate bearing.
The Stradic ci 4 is a very light reel. And it incorporates a worm gear oscillation system. And a forged main gear. Shimanos worm gear oscillation does lay line in such a way that you'll get more distance. And it will manage ligther/ thinner diameter lines in such a way that if you aren't good with line management. YOu'll get less "wind knots"
And yeah..the ci4 is smoother for what it's worth.
om sy ada dan 1 jt kira2 daiwa apa shimano ya....minta pndapatnya om...thx
daiwa dong om, shimano mah sampah yang dibawah 2juta
Stradic always
always bet on shimano. their drag clicker is always consistently loud and the build quality and materials used will always be better than daiwa. that being said the cheaper daiwa rods are better than the cheap (low end) shimano rods.
The Daiwa is the blue collar worker and its a worker
Comparing a $90 reel to a $200 reel makes no sense to me. 🙄
@Blueskies Agreed. I can afford either and also a fan of both. Just like hearing opinions to try to gauge if it's worth splurging the difference.
daiwa is stronger, cheaper, but bigger size. i must pay more 100 for shimano Small size and nice body
Nice video and thanks for sharing
They aren’t the same size reels. Everything Daiwa makes is a size bigger than Shimano.
thanks for the info. good video.
