  • In this video we go over a very difficult and sensitive subject: miscarriage. Men dealing with a miscarriage is not something that is often (if ever) discussed. It's important we end the stigma associated with miscarriage and allow men to know they no longer need to live in silence.
Men are often surprised to learn that many couples experience a miscarriage and they are not alone in their feelings and thoughts about it. It can feel isolating and difficult to deal with when you feel like you are going through it alone.
This video talks about multiple ways you can help yourself deal with the miscarriage but also help and support your partner through the difficult time.
If you are needing help, reach out to friends, family, support group or even a professional.

Me and my exgf suffered a miscarriage in 2018. We had broken up by the time we found out about the baby but we were determined to be good parents. And then March 2, 2018, we lost the baby... To this day I still mourn the loss of my little girl. I sometimes look in the back seat and think "Saoirse should be back there asking to get McDonald's." Shed be turning 4 this year (2022). I never met her but now that it's over, I just wanna hold her. I wouldn't have been the best dad, but I would've given my damnedest best effort. I even made drawings of my little girl.

Thank you for this. My wife had a miscarriage on Thursday. We had to do a D&C prodcedure yesterday. I’ve been trying to stay strong for her but at times I’ve failed and broken down. I truly appreciate this video so it can help me be there for my wife.

Its hard for both husband and wife, both deal with grief differently. We had 2 miscarriages, its not easy. For guys, please seek someone to talk to as its not easy supporting your wife and yourself

Seeing so many men are grieving about the miscarriage,I am more convinced my ex was a demon ,he went for drinking till midnight while I was having threatened abortion。and during that period of time ,he was picking up fights with me and ghosted me almost everyday . On the day I was confirmed by the doctor that I could not keep the baby ,I was bleeding in hospital, the first thing he called for was asking me to admit that I should apologize for what I have said to him ,and said I was asking for pity from him when I told that I am in hospital

Dealing with my first one today. We announced we were expecting publicly two days ago, and then this hit today. Even worse that I was 10 hours away when it happened since I drive OTR for a living. It's the largest roller coaster of emotions I've ever been on. I was just watching your other videos a few days ago in excitement. But I'm glad I could still find you to help with the sadness. Thanks DU.

Yes, thank you for creating a video about this. My partner and I had one at the beginning of the year, but this morning we went to our first ultrasound for our current baby! The loss was very difficult, and we definitely grieved differently but ultimately came out stronger.

If the man is not 100% there he will never know the way us woman feel. All we want and need in a time like is support and a hug to let us know that we aren’t alone and be there for what we need.

My wife's miscarriage broke me. I supported her, and she recovered well. I never have. Even 2 kids later, and I'm still crying every few days in private because we lost out daughter. I can't get past it completely. I just can't. She's always there, always in the faces I see every day. In my dreams, in my thoughts. When we lost her a part of me died, and it's gone forever.

I'm sorry you have gone through this. Have you considered going to a therapist? They may be able to help you through the feelings and thoughts you are experiencing.

I sat next to my wife two times in a row on the toilet trying to be strong and supportive for her during two miscarriages. it broke our hearts but the third time was a charm and our beautiful daughter was able to come into this world. It's not something I think about everyday but when I do, it reminds me of how strong we are. When I think about it, it makes me cry and I realize how damaging it was. but we're past that now and it's time to move on and focus on the beautiful children that we made.

This is just too much. It happens more often than people think, in fact, one in every four women will have a miscarriage at some point in their life. It’s not a reason to be killing yourself like you do. Focus on your kids that are alive

I’m 11 months late for this video, my misses and I had to say goodbye to our little Prince. There’s other complications to this pregnancy as well but it don’t take away the pain. I’m so down

At the time it's hard to see past the pain for the woman as she is going through it physically and mentally. Its only after it really sank in for me. Over a prolonged period. I'm not sure it's something you ever really fully get over

Idk what hurts more honestly. The silence feels like I’m talking to a wall. When he does speak on it, it’s cruel. I’m not sure why he’s so cold. We planned this baby

This is my first time ever having the possiblity of being a dad . I feel so sad and angry that it happened. I blamed myself and she blamed herself. We found out yesterday she miscarried the baby . It was very early in the pregnancies . I was so excited and I already loved this child. We didn't get to even a gender. But I'm pretty sure I was going to have a son . She was convinced we were having a girl . We even had a little bet on who was right .

Greaving for a miss carriage is so different from greaving for a love one, a love one you have memories to cheris, with a miss carriage it mor about what could have been. My life would be completely different now if my missus hadn't miss carried. Apologies for the spelling.

It’s hard. Our baby was planned. But he acted cold once I told him I was pregnant & even worse when it was gone. I just watch these videos & read things online about men who actually feel something about their partners having a miscarriage. I don’t talk about it to anyone. Just myself really. Trying to forget it happened but it’s hard.
