Boat crash kills one and injures another

Florida Fish and Wildlife confirms one boater is dead and another is seriously hurt after a crash near the Howard Frankland Bridge in Hillsborough County.

Always use a high powered spot light when boating at night. I have had friends hit channel markers at night. Condolences for the lost soul.

At night objects looks farther away than they really are. For instance a pier can look far away but you can be at it so quick. I have experienced that. We were very careful and had slowed and could actually see how close the long dock was. I have never been out at night again. So sorry this happened to these men. Condolences to the man family. Prayers for both men and their families.

People also need to be allowed to use lights other than just those for markings . 3 headlights up front and tons of lighting for night fishing absolutely. If you can't see, no one can see you if they also have no lights . Nilights on amazon with the 3 layer lighting is freakin bright and very wide clear visibility great in very dark settings even use on my own pov just in case .

They have lowered speeds on many lake across the county maybe its time everywhere, some folks need some laws cause they can't control there actions 😮

Condolences for sure but…. If they were going too fast they put others at risk not just themselves ! If they were going too fast…. Or taking other risks…. Frustrating. Why don’t people think of others more often. Condolences to the families.
