I answered with my preferred position which is Door Watch, my job is literally sitting down and watching a hole. . . And she said to me "alright we can make that happen for you." This is were the "first impressions" are key. It shows how professional you really are. It will also show your drive and determination to work at the designated company.
As a personaler 95% of the time is shows nothing but their asslicking skills they sadly had to acquire through their entire education. Almost nobody is "driven and determine" to work at company X. People just don't want to stave and have expertise the companies need.
I like the attitude but it does stick its head in the sand in the job market. When I started off working as an engineer, the amount of "Graduate Engineer" roles that required 1-3 years of experience was unreal. Jobmarket may have changed recently (especially in the US), but in Australia these barriers to entry are still present. Entry level jobs should have 0 years experience as they're entry level jobs.
You have nothing to loose in trying anyway, employers always ask for the perfect candidates which they can pay absolutly nothing in return because their company is perfection and they have many people who want to work for them, who are better than you and don't ask as much... Until you get the job and realize it was all bullshit... Welcome to the jungle! lol
Nope it hasn’t changed. Not just in the field of engineering either, HR, Accounting, Finance, etc. every job that has a degree requirement requests about 3 years of experience and any job with lower requirements will reject someone with a degree for being “overqualified” leading to a catch 22 where you can’t get experience because the person who wrote the job posting clearly has a crippling meth addiction
I'm in the US. Just applied for a software dev internship. Got denied because I don't have 2 years of SQL and Python experience. If I had 2 years of CS experience, why TF would I get an internship instead of an actual job?
Can confirm this trick works. During my interview, the guy said he liked my resume, but noticed I had no real experience. I told him I was willing to learn whatever he threw at me. I've been through 3 roles at that place now. The first 2 proved quite difficult for me, but they liked how I kept trying and never gave up, so they decided to keep moving me around until something stuck. Now I operate an industrial oven at $18/h
I have great admiration for where this man has started from and where he is now and I have no doubt he had worked hard, made good financial decisions and when he could afford it he hired the best to do that for him so folks listen up nothing in life comes easy you have to keep pushing through and of course give up on employers that use you and keep the faith
Would it be good to say something like “So what could I do here to gain experience?” The phrasing in the video sounds like it could tip an interviewer off that you’re trying to hard or something, idk how to put it.
My first job I walked up to my head coach and went "I need a job, and I got my life guard certifications" him: "can you start tomorrow at 6 AM?" Easiest job in my life, there wasn't even one swimmer in the water that day because of the swim meet. For the next year, I essentially got paid to do my homework.
It should be a 10 million fine for companies demanding 20 years of experience! (That was one good thing that came out of COVID was that some businesses decided that they actually needed enough help to the point where they offered to train you and not demand you have 20 years experience at the age of 18!)
In my last interviews i took a clipboard with me to take some notes during the interviews. I think the HR people felt intimidated by this and got nervous. The interview felt like i was asking the questions and the HR people were applying to me.
A journal would've seemed more personal and relaxed. Though that's their problem, they see a clip board an get a stichk up their asses because of its symbolic meaning of authority and order.
I got my current job as a dealership technician without a formal interview. Went clay shooting and met my current boss over shotgun fire. Been there three years this spring. One of the few benefits of living in Alabama (really, there aren't many).
What about in circumstances where you gain experience working in the field but you can't gain experience because you need experience? Just work for free for 3 months as an intern? Sounds completely unreasonable
I find it annoying how people don’t hire people because they don’t have work experience, how are they supposed to get work experience if they can’t work????
Thank god I started working toward my backup career option at the age of 9. the first step to acquire wealth is figuring-out your goals with heIp of a financiaI pIanner, and foIIowing through with lnteIIigent ideas; you will acquire wealth in no time and also enjoy the decision of managing your money.
I had decisions that grew my finances (gathered over 1M in 2yrs) with heIp of my financiaI pIanner. Living the dream, hoping to retire next year.

I pulled this banger out at an interview, and now I'm the CEO
The only proper reaction to this guy's videos:
OK boomer
Remember the question posed to me, how well would I mesh with their current employees. I answered I'm not there to mesh, I'm there to look at my potential job, use my experience to streamline it and share all ideas to improve the flow of the job. Got the job.
Whenever i see one of these, it feels like my grandparents telling me how to do great at job interviews with tactics and ideas that would just never work
Not sure what it is but this guy irritates the hell out of me
Yup. People aren’t interviewing job candidates if their application is lacking.
And they wouldn't just outright hand you a different job. They'll make you reapply for that position.
@@MetalxMastersAmen
Actually I scored my first job like this video. I was later told many people had more experience & expertise than me, but my confidence & enthusiasm was what they liked. Even after I left, they wanted me back. Enthusiasm & confidence looks good for any business.
This guy sounds like he'd try to get me to buy him a restaurant style meal
That rooster feather looking wig absolutely SENT me 😂😉
Him: “You have no work experience so you can’t get a job”
Me: “But how am I supposed to get experience without a job?“
Him: “Get a job”
Me:”But I need experience to get a job”
Him: “get experience then”
Me:”BUT I NEED A JOB TO GET-“
Him: “NEXT”
Of course in reality you'll just get a generic email saying you've been rejected.
You guys are getting emails?
@@hotblackdesiato5771 From a robot, if you're luck.
I fucking wish
Ha, my job interview was actually easier than this. I walked in all nervous because it was my first ever job interview the lady asked me "what position would you like to work in?" I answered with my preferred position which is Door Watch, my job is literally sitting down and watching a hole. . . And she said to me "alright we can make that happen for you." Within a few weeks after that I was working my first job and it was boring as hell but the pay was good.
thats my dream job
I feel like that's one of the best jobs, you can do so many things meanwhile,.stuff you don't usually have time for, like reading for example
I mean if it works it works. Get some online classes, if I remember Harvard has several free courses on computer science, finish those, work your way up, makes the day a little less empty too.
What kind of hole?
Can you elaborate on the job, never heard of it
I like the fact that he is in Harvey spectors office 😂😂😂
Your skills are great to work as our client.
This is were the "first impressions" are key. It shows how professional you really are. It will also show your drive and determination to work at the designated company.
As a personaler
95% of the time is shows nothing but their asslicking skills they sadly had to acquire through their entire education.
Welcome to the jungle! lol
How did you get a job in the end?
Now I operate an industrial oven at $18/h
but starting wages at fast food places are 15/hr
Being honest is a crime in modern world.
"If you're not interested in training people I'm not interested in working here, thanks for your time."
I kid you not I said the exact same thing the first guy said and NEVER heard from the employers 😂
How tf am I gonna get work experience if no one is gonna give me work
There are smaller jobs, like being a school student teacher, fast food, and maybe even lawn mowing can count
@@UnexpectingDuckimagine working at fast food 😂😂😂😂
@@UnexpectingDuck most jobs require work experience in the same field they won't hire you into because You don't have work experience.
@@UnexpectingDuckyes, that Will definitely help me to became a car mechanic
@@UnexpectingDuck The fact that you manage to put pants on in the morning shocks me.
“What position would you like to work in?” For the one I applied for breh
That hair though. That's confidence 😂
I would be so happy if u would make a podcast
Why would they waste their time bringing you in for an interview if you don’t have the experience they’re looking for?
In other words: I'll underpay you for this job you're over qualified for.
Anime protagonist hair. Dude's on his way to becoming the next Saiyan.
This is the funniest gaslighting I’ve ever seen. 🤣🤣🤣 and the hair cut/beanie
That’s how you see us bro? I got you
I have great admiration for where this man has started from and where he is now and I have no doubt he had worked hard, made good financial decisions and when he could afford it he hired the best to do that for him so folks listen up nothing in life comes easy you have to keep pushing through and of course give up on employers that use you and keep the faith
Would it be good to say something like “So what could I do here to gain experience?”
The phrasing in the video sounds like it could tip an interviewer off that you’re trying to hard or something, idk how to put it.
"Sorry, but we're really only hiring for this role. Best of luck in your future endeavors."
My first job I walked up to my head coach and went "I need a job, and I got my life guard certifications" him: "can you start tomorrow at 6 AM?"
Easiest job in my life, there wasn't even one swimmer in the water that day because of the swim meet. For the next year, I essentially got paid to do my homework.
Thanks man for the advice will use this to be a remarkable piece of my bloodline
I laughed out loud, scared my cat when I saw you with the hat, pulled down and the white T-shirt at a interview good demeanor /depiction
This ignores the online application where the system throws out your application
How to get hired:
Step one:
Get hired
It should be a 10 million fine for companies demanding 20 years of experience! (That was one good thing that came out of COVID was that some businesses decided that they actually needed enough help to the point where they offered to train you and not demand you have 20 years experience at the age of 18!)
me: i am just trying to work in mcdonalds
Thanks 😊
I love the part when none of this is true
But it is true that most jobs wont hire you unless you have experience, and the very few who do will give terrible wages or nothing at all
"you have no experience"
"Yeah that's the reason for my coming, so that I can get some experiences to be hired in the company next door"
"With this sacred treasure i summon mahoraga" ahh haircut
The wig is perfect! I love it
"Sorry, we need someone with 10 years experience."
"This is McDonalds"
"What role you would recommend I pursue in your organization with my background?"
Me: "Learning Kioken..."
In my last interviews i took a clipboard with me to take some notes during the interviews. I think the HR people felt intimidated by this and got nervous. The interview felt like i was asking the questions and the HR people were applying to me.
That's funny but also seems like a good idea
A journal would've seemed more personal and relaxed. Though that's their problem, they see a clip board an get a stichk up their asses because of its symbolic meaning of authority and order.
I got my current job as a dealership technician without a formal interview.
Went clay shooting and met my current boss over shotgun fire. Been there three years this spring.
One of the few benefits of living in Alabama (really, there aren't many).
Literally this line got me one of the best jobs I’ve ever had, just asking this question post interview made them interview me again and I got it
I'll remember this. Back in the job pool soon. Cheers fellas
reality: *becomes a janitor for the rest of his life*
How do I get experience if u don't hire me
That's a mystery 😂
This dude is really acting like you're gonna actually get an interview when you have zero experience in what you're applying for...
Then go get the experience?
Or just fake it till you make it. Plenty of ways to aquire experience outside of a paid position. At least in the trades.
What about in circumstances where you gain experience working in the field but you can't gain experience because you need experience? Just work for free for 3 months as an intern? Sounds completely unreasonable
Find an entry level tradesmen job or labor jobs. Tire/oil change. Warehouse. Grocery store. Customer service. Etc.
It’s called hustling, life is full of risks that’s what makes it so interesting :)
@sasukedemon888888888 except all entry-level positions require 1-3 years of experience minimum and working at retail doesn't count
Unpaid internship for the rest of time: 🗿
Urakoze Mzee,ubwo butmwa ni igenzi
I find it annoying how people don’t hire people because they don’t have work experience, how are they supposed to get work experience if they can’t work????
You'd never get the interview without that experience.
boomers think this is how it works
also that you're even getting an interview in the first place
Thank god I started working toward my backup career option at the age of 9. I have no "official" work experience despite being 20 and I'm unable to get into an actual workplace but I have plenty of things to put on my CV for when I become able.
My problem is looking overqualified for entry level jobs despite not having the qualifications on paper yet.
Good teaching... how kiss your way up... honest buyassed (biased) recruitment
