  • Today I will be trying to master the world's hardest omelette, the Kichi Kichi omurice. Kichi Kichi is a restaurant in Kyoto that serves the well-known omurice.
Omu means omelette and rice is rice.. So it is short for egg on rice. Usually served with the egg surrounding the rice from the beginning but this version really requires some skills to master.
Make sure to watch until the end to see if I succeeded or not. let me know below how you think I did ^^'

So the most amazing thing happened.. The Masterchef at Kichi Kichi taught me in person how to master the omelette. Check it out here to see how that went and get a couple of wise words from the man as well: ruclips.net/video/JCiaOWgLCNA/видео.html

Why japanese dishes always have delicate delicious foods! Nice try friend! Still needs to have that omelette more runny though! Bit practice makes perfect!

You can basically put anything in an omurice. But in your case I'd just use green peas and regular mushrooms :)
Glad you are excited about giving this one a try!

Paprika would of course also work great as a replacement for the bell peppers ^^'
