They then unleashed a plague of degeneracy that worked as essentially transmittable chaos corruption. So rather than beastmen, they are beasts of the new god. If games workshop added this, it'd be a terrifying threat that is beyond the scope of anything that has come before.
Please, include a reason or excuse as WHY the inquisition wasn’t involved? You would think an entire conclave of inquisitor would at least ask questions regarding this new threat we face.
