    Of course a witch’s house should be able to fly. Bravo. Well done 👍 ❤Amazing artwork 👍

    Your works are simply stunning! I'm amazed by your talent and how you play with shapes and colors. I especially loved the first sketch inspired by the Witch's House - such atmosphere and details! And the way you play with perspective in the second sketch is simply marvelous. And of course, the third sketch with Bigfoot - so cute and unusual! You truly create your own worlds, and it's fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

      Oksana, that is such a lovely comment, truly. Thank you so much for the thoughtful response and encouragement- I kinda needed that today! I’ll have a few more architecture sketches probably tomorrow - and then I think I might try something else for a while (don’t want to become boring!) thank you, thank you!

    About your question I want to say art is everything for me and it’s like meditation for me ✨

    • @BoruArt
      @BoruArt  3 месяца назад +1

      Isn’t that great? Yes, when you get into a certain frame of mind, everything else kinda goes away and it’s just you and the art. That’s a wonderful feeling!

    Always enjoyable and interesting watching you create while listening to your commentaries!
    I tend to start over when the art isn't going my way, although these days I don't give up as easily as I would have in the past ... I've learned to keep in mind there might be an "ugly phase" as part of the process. 🙂

    • @BoruArt
      @BoruArt  3 месяца назад +1

      Well I always enjoy your videos and commentary too! Thank you so much! Yeah, the ugly phase… I’m currently struggling with one that looked pretty cool, I thought… and then pushed it headlong into ugliness!! Hahaha! Thaaaaat happens too. But I do think working through “ugly” can often spark interesting (and beautiful!) results. I’ve always liked the end results of what you’ve shown on your channel - you’ve got an excellent eye!

      Thank you. Ooops you went too far eh? Haha that does happen!
      I agree that working through the “ugly” can bring surprisingly pleasant results.
      Well thank you so much!

      @@BoruArt Oh yeah! I thought a cool little paper project would be to make the spinning wheel and cutouts from the Led Zeppelin III cover, but put kooky illustrations to see through the holes. Just a thought...

      Oh that’d be fun! I like interactive art - I wonder if there’s…. You know how some greeting cards open and play music? I wonder if there’s one that plays “Immigrant Song”…? Somehow rig it to play with the turning of the dial…..

    How am I so late to the party? (blames RUclips for not letting me know!) Loving the line weights with the brush pen, and even though I was clueless about Clueless your interpretation of the house was really effective :) Happy to see the frog make an appearance and really like the breaking the frame idea. Wondering if washi tape might be kinder to your delicate paper? Combining the cob home with the zeppelin was great - felt a little steam punky :) Yes for Physical Graffiti, and the Led Zep thing makes sense to me now :D You obviously need a rake brush for yeti fur! :D

    • @BoruArt
      @BoruArt  3 месяца назад

      Why are you doing anything else but checking for new videos constantly all day every day??? 🤣 yeah, I figured Clueless was not your style (nor is it mine, but I do have a younger sister and … yes, I’ve seen it more than once). Steampunk! Yes! I was thinking the same thing and I considered giving Bigfoot these cool telescopic glasses and a handlebar mustache, but… it was a bit much at that small scale. So, what is washi tape? I mean, I’ve seen it, but how is it different from another masking tape? I could just buy some, huh? I’ve never had many problems with my usual tape in the past - but I was enchanted by this thick, nice paper at a very reasonable price. The price of doing something newwwwww. Always love reading your comments! Cheers!

      @@BoruArt Think it's made from Japanese rice paper (washi tape, that is!) and it's tearable and low tack, but strangely resilient :) Lots of high-priced pretty patterns available at the minute (think it's having its fashionable moment!) but you can get plainer ones too, which are cheaper. I like 'MT' brand - tacky enough to hold watercolours in place, but somehow not as tacky as masking tape (I used to use DIY stuff from the hardware store, so maybe anything is better than that? In fact, washi tape might be terrible - don't get it!)
      *looks smug for constantly checking youtube for replies*

    • @BoruArt
      @BoruArt  3 месяца назад

      I got a package of MT tape but there was nothing in it!!!! (Kidding!) this is alllll new info to me! I see all the kids talking about washi tape but I guess I didn’t really think there was a significant difference - just all happy designs and Hello Kitty sorta stuff. Ah! Well I will need to track some down - there’s a Japanese book store with an art section - I bet they have some, huh? Thanks for the tips, Sennal Aaaaaaaaa!
