- There is plenty of tension as i must try to survive the hunt while completing a series of task, and while i can re roll tasks this time there is a penalty for such actions.

Happens to me in RDR2 all the time. Something about R*s controls. Punch a Bystander, my Horse, a baby Giraffee.
That would be so confusing out of context.

Who else was thinking "watch the stairs!"? Not just for the hunters, the cops will use them sometimes.
When the camera settled on him taking cover behind the car, I shouted at the screen, "Head on a swivel, Alex!"
With my headphones on i could hear a car stopping and the door closing to the rear left. When he got back in the car i thought he's gotten away with it!

I would've set up to blast that guy the second I heard that car roll up. Watch the inside of the stairs with 3rd person. Guy runs around the corner on the stairs, boom, dropped on the 3rd step

Unambiguous wording could be "no turning right until you you have turned left 10 times"

He took a right in the middle of the lefts. He joined a road in the hills and went right not left.

One of these days, we'll convince Alex to armor-up and snack-up using the weapon wheel. Not that it would have saved him from Mute's shotgun to the face.

There was no shotgun, the hunters are only allowed pistols
@@Humdinger69 they are allowed pistols and shot guns. I think it’s essentially any non explosive non automatic weapon
@@jackarmstrong7285 Okay, fair, I looked up the full rule set and shotguns are included, but in this particular instance, I'm fairly confident a pistol was used based on the sound and look of the weapon

Have you ever thought about splitting the hunters into two teams. (say red and blue cars). Would be interesting to see them sabotaging each other whilst you survive. Also maybe just default cars.
I also thought of something like this but more of there's two teams with each having hunters and a hunted and whichever kills the opposing teams hunted player will win. It'll be interesting to see what strategies can be done since there is an option to stick close to the hunter to protect them but risk the hunted getting easily detected since a lot of hunters are surrounding a single car or the teams can split up to find the opposing hunted but leave their hunted teammate without protection in case they were spotted. It could also be an option where even the hunted is limited to tap fire pistols and shotguns similar to hunters just to emphasize the need to protect the hunted player. Or it all goes wrong and a hunter accidentally kills their hunted teammate during a firefight

They already did the teams part, but I don't think they were sabotaging each other. That would be a fun idea.
There was one that they did that, Orange team vs Pink team. I don't remember which one, but one where Alex gets stuck at a house on foot and one team pushes a Stanier in as an offering, which Alex refuses and blows it up.
Blame Laddo haha he's the one with stock lights and I have the Halloween horn for reasons 😂

@@chrisabernathy1082tbf GTAV is just clunky as all hell, and it's combat is intertwined with it's extremely heavy auto aim.
But still positioning and awareness he could work on.
You did fail him on a task he didn't even start in the middle of a chase :x

@@Dangerman8000 That's generally not how that worked in the past, especially in a chase since he can't set up a timer while running away, as he rightly pointed out.

So, not only did Mute stop the Amy murder streak last STH, he has (for now) started his own little one
Also, that workshop moment was like something out of a action/suspense movie
This was one of the best Survive the Hunts I’ve ever seen! No wonder people think this may be scripted cause that was jaw-dropping! I know you just have that much skill and shenanigans from the Hunters are never too far. Taskmaster ones are quite a favorite of mine! Thank you to everyone who puts time and effort into these.
Definitely agreed. This one was very tense. Having someone tail you in the 9F and just parking on the hill was stressing me out lol.
42:42 i'd have painted the buffalo black since it was becoming night, lights off if and will be harder to spot when the hunters eventually find you to give chase haha!
Special forces don't use white at night.. unless in the snow using environmental awareness

This was really fun to watch. But I snickered at Alex trying to nick one of Franklin's cars, when I knew that's not possible at all! 🤣
You actually hear him get out of the car to go kill you at the end. Can see how you'd confuse it for cops getting out of their car tho.

That one shot one kill was so clean and honestly badass as hell. I was so impressed.
Man, these survive the hunts never get old. I await each new hunt as eagerly as ever.

I always feel like Alex sees things I don’t, then he misses hunters shooting past him and easy access points behind his back where they can score headshots and I feel better about myself then sad he lost yet another STH
I did not know that staircase existed. Honestly I was more worried about Alex not looking behind him in case the car park had a big opening through which Amy could snipe him lol.
The hunter chasing Alex down the freeway as he hucks molotovs at npc cars got a good show.

That ending was great!😆 Alex missed keeping the stair in his field of view, and the hunter took a gamble that payed off.

they went up the ramp and you could hear them drive there and stop then shut door i know they was going to come down the stairs lol
The open door on the floor above was how Mute got down the stairs to one-shot without being seen. Hunters aren't dumb enough anymore to just try and rush you with their vehicles. They are more tactical now. They think like you. You should think like a hunter.
little tip for smoother turns on bikes is to push forward slightly on the thumbstick before the turn, helps a lot!
Was very tense. First time watching and I love how intense even though there was a lack of action. The stealth is the cool part anyways

You could hear their doors slamming...so you knew they were on foot around you.

For the next survive the hunt I know a really good disguise you can use, if you pull an AI off a motorcycle and wait for them to run back towards it to get on then they'll hop on the back of it as a passenger and you'll blend in with an AI on the back with you

13:33 - I'm kind of wondering, does this not theoretically break the supercar rule, or is there a rule that excludes vehicles given by the taskmaster?
I have had some success using the prox mines to deny access to places or set traps. It's not always practical because you have to get into cover, but tossing a few prox mines in places that aren't easily seen could take out a hunter AND alert you to their presence. I can tell you that this tactic REALLY irritates my boys when we play together. They claim to be adopted now.
Rockstar games needs to make this a game mode, so simple but very exciting #rockstargames

Missed trick when losing cops and having a burnt white buffalo was to go into ls customs and change colour, loses wanted level and car is not burnt if colour changed, two birds one stone 👌

The thing with these videos is that Alex just gets himself into more danger by not hiding more often after car chases. Like the one where he was in the storm drain, the chaser lost him, at that point you hide and change car, not keep driving like a maniac as that just gives other chases time to find you and chase again. Infuritating to watch sometimes hah
Gta 5 isn't even a racing game yet Rockstar have created the most fun driving physics ever! Imagine what gta 6 will be like? 😭 lol
