- My task is simple, survive for 24 hours of Gta 5 time while trying to blow up a number of cars dotted around the city and then escape, but as ever things go terribly wrong and desperate times call for desperate measures.

I loved that you got synced up with two other white Fugitives. Felt like the opening sequence of Baby Driver lol.
It's a shame there's no subtle way to make them panic. Having 3 identical cars peel off in different directions would have made for an epic escape
And a sort of a shell game. If they suspected he was one of them at that time (and the broken window wasn't synced) then they likely kept loosing track of which one they were suspecting.

I'm pretty sure if I was a hunter, my tactic would be to just drive around the north in a Felon and wait for Alex to carjack me.
7:44 - 8:44 was anyone else just laughing at all the analysis Alex was doing because it was all useless as a car driving around without headlights at night was going to tip them off regardless.
Alex explaining while still doing amateur stuff 60 eps in is always hilarious to observe.
I kept yelling lights at my screen to no avail.
He really doesn't seem like the brightest and at times I just yell interally because it's beyond me that he sometimes do such obvious rookie mistakes and then some of the stuff he talks about/says... Losing one braincell at the time..
For this version of Survive the Hunt you should unlock more escape options the more cars you blow up. Gives you more incentive to blow up a ton as it'll make escaping at the end feasible (vs only getting 1-2 and having a single escape option)

fun fact: there is a pair of scripted npcs that race up and down the storm drains on jetskis sometimes.
The 3 white fugitives part is one of the funniest STH moment I've seen so far. It's almost like a movie scene, like in the Baby Driver one.

We need a rule...if Alex accidentally grabs a simeon car....he has to deliver it.
You need to go to a weapon locker and store some of those dogshit weapons. Makes it easier to cycle to the sticky bombs. You can also toggle player contacts off in your phone to reach lester quicker
Don't recall when exactly I came across your channel, probably SHT# 8 or so, but I was instantly hooked.
It didn't take long to became obvious, you make what you consider fun. It shows in your commentary, and that sets you apart from other channels.
That's one of the many reasons I keep watching, and occasionally binge watch old STH. They're simply, bloody awesome!!

Survive the hunt was brought to my attention by the late Shamus Young in a blog post of his some time around STH 16, when the rules were finalized with the pink Pris and so on. I came to the channel for STH, and stayed for the Team Adventures, which have turned into Horizon 5 Individual Racing because Team Adventures are borked. (Eventually I started to enjoy the GTA Racing, and of course I've always enjoyed some of the other crazy stuff you do.) One highlight for me was the Gone in 48 minutes where you killed ALL the hunters and created an enormous traffic jam that you had to get the car out of to deliver it in order to end the game.

I'd love to see a StH where Alex has to kill all of the hunters, but the hunters don't realize that's his task (so they don't all hide).
Dammit I just want to see Alex win a STH, feels like he hasnt won one in ages😂 Hunters are very good now, they are much better these days than in the old days, I reckon. But that's also probably because of all the experience.

While its tendency is to become a spinomatic, especially while a tire is down, the OG cruiser are perhaps one of the toughest old cars and exceptionally deformable. They can become a cheese wedge and still maneuver fairly well.

A wonderful video of StH as always, and a nice good run by Alex once again. Surprising for me was how many Pink Pris he got while be pursued in the Police Cruiser; although his takedown of Blakey was just as great! What was Blakey thinking of riding a bicycle during a StH? 🤣

I feel like "When in doubt, drive through all the bushes" might become a new hunter tactic after this.
a suggestion: Do a Saboteur Survive the Hunt. You text a hunter at beginning of the game, that they're the chosen Saboteur. This chosen hunter then has to somehow help you survive a hunt without the other hunters finding out the chosen saboteur has helped you. It would be interesting to see if you can survive a hunt with this secret help. Interesting to see the tactics the chosen saboteur can come up with to help you survive & interesting to see if the other hunters can work out who the chosen saboteur is.

I was hoping you would blow up the car at the Pier and just hop on the Roller Coaster! Especially since the crew done it during a recent hunt. They would never ever think Alex would do such a thing😂
To fix the window being broken, you have to hold the look back button, and then aim, it'll clear.
If you just move the stick to look behind that wont work when its broken glass.

This was one of the best STH I've seen to date, well done. For the police car, even if you happen to be surrounded by 5 other police cars, it's easy for the hunters, especially the blimp, to pick you out because of the number on the roof.

This is one of the most cinematic survive the hunts yet! Loved the ridiculous chase and improbable crashes
The police car's handling is an homage to the 60s. Softly sprung, lots of grip as long as you reach the limit slowly enough.

This was the first survive the hunt I have seen so far. It is a cinematic masterpiece. Not knowing the rules or how many players there are made it even better. I was on the edge of my seat most of the video. Very well done 10/10

This has to be the most cinematic survive the hunt I've seen. So many amazing flips.
Okay, been saying this for ages. In a car, Alex is amazing at getting away. On foot, he is terrible. Before any STH you should go to the weapons locker and change your loadout so that only the guns you want are actually in your loadout. When you flick to that gun part of the gun wheel you will automatically have the gun you want. Stop using the MG, use the combat MG. If you aim at someone and push up once you get a headshot almost every time. If an enemy is in cover you can rocket them and it will most likely kill them.
The kitty was the best part of this one! 😺💕💕💕
I've watched every minute of every 'Survive the Hunt' and this one was yet another amazingly valiant effort. I wish they were more frequent ^^ but can't complain =)

It would seem that the Police cars are built like tanks that can go fast, so of course they don't handle well. It sure took a lot of damage ^^ Did quite well despite the deadly airship keeping the hunters onto you.
Just discovered you through Matto's gta guesser vid. When you mentioned survive the hunt I had to check it out and glad I did as this was fantastic! Rip the poor guy on the bike trying to stop ya 🚲🤣

Excellent adventure, very enjoyable to watch. It was actually nice to see a chase with a different car for a change, it made it very exciting to see. It was real close in the end!!

Please do a Survive The Industrial Hunt, where you and the hunters can only use slow vehicles (industrail vehicles, scooters, bicycles, and overall slow vehicles), where hunters can only use flares for signaling and melee for attacking you and you can only use a pistol and melee but you can shoot flares from the car instead, and where your goal is to steal vehicles parked or looping around inside a parking area (so they don't get kicked) after which the hunter(s) in that vehicle would get a 2 minutes timeout in which they have to turn off their map and player tags (if they didn't do that already) and after which they can join the hunt.

Welcome to a place in the-santos, where house hunter Alex was impressed by the concealed and private gardens of property one. On to property two and... It's a resounding no due to the lack of privacy and foliage. At the end of our house hunt Alex has decided that property three, a random bush, is his dream home. Truly a comfortable and concealed humble abode.
Dammit i love these things so much. The tension never gets old, I can't wait for the gta6 sth episodes. Damn alex is so good at driving.
When you go for the jet skis, be sure to throw a sticky on one of them and blow the rest of them
