disagree, a broken fence, no car would be clearly 'drove into the water' a fence broken, car present may suggest that the water was a bait and he was actually on foot trying to escape, which explains why they were looking on the bridge at that time.

@@StuffandThings_To be fair alot of it just boils down to good coordination and map knowledge. These guys know the entire map (or atleast Los Santos) by hand and don't even need a map. That goes along way in all of this. Then beyond that the hunters are just good at being a team. It's all down to the coordination that is unbreakable.

It was frustrating to see him aimlessly wander until the freaked out AI practically herded him towards the storm drain and he still didn't go for the train....
Idea: The amount of Priuses you explode results in a "reward" that you have to use to escape. For example, 0 Prius: You have to escape on foot 1 Prius: Escape on a BMX 2: Go for a swim 3: Boat 4: Helicopter 5: Wheelie out of the city on your brand new bike!
STH is my favorite thing they do for sure, but I love their Wreckfest tournaments too because I found this channel searching RUclips for Wreckfest gameplay videos before I bought that game a few years ago, their Beamng multiplayer videos are a close third for favorite Failrace content, both Stop the Beast and Race the Flood
Two ideas. Adding killing at least three of the hunters to also blowing up the pre's. Doing a mythbusters type short on things you state during episodes. "Damage syncing, traffic lights syncing, AI vs human car noises being louder, etc."
How many people cringed when he made that right turn precisely back into where he'd just escaped? I thought he'd gotten away until he turned over that bridge. I don't think he did it to make the ending more exciting, but I guess it worked.

90:00 FINALLY, it's been 61 episodes and I've been internally screaming at Alex every time he wants to go straight on a two or more lane road and yet chooses to stick to the right lane which then causes the npc's to give him away at every turn he has to stop at, let's hope he remembers this little (obvious) trick for the future. I am so addicted to STH. Partially because I lived in LA for a few years and not only recognize the landmarks but also many other places. Granted the scale is a bit off the detail overall is amazing. And the content always has an element of suspense while being funny. Epic.

They're already not allowed to have cars or upgrades that give them any sort of advantage, only cosmetic upgrades. The only difference the hunters using only stock NPC vehicles would make is that it would make them _slightly_ harder to spot, but only for a second, as their erratic driving would give them away almost immediately.
All a hunter has to do is enable the map from the settings, and how would anyone know? Some people like playing from the DM's perspective, even at the expense of the fun. I remember seeing it a couple times in the past w/ STH and I genuinely thought it was so unfair

It works on a trust system, and I'm sure most of them are trustworthy enough to not enable the map, but then you sometimes have moments where many commenters see something as majorly suspect. With FiveM, they could truly disable all the UI and maps to make it super fair, but unfortunately some of the crew are console only players.
How funny would it be if The Hunters “bait car’d” Alex by placing one of his FAVORITE CARS out in the open unlocked. The explode Alex in the car! The end…. Hunter win!

You really should have dumped the black Fuselade in the ocean after blowing the second Prii, leaving it there next to the Prii gave away the fact that you might not have used a car to escape the area
Imagine as a Hunter when your Pri exploded, you grab a car off the road and upgrade it with explosives to park it near another pri for alex to grab, just to get exploded by this booby trap :D
You had me screaming at my screen from 50:00 on. From the moment you put that car in there this was chaos and panic decisions and very little consideration for cover. AHHHH!!! You could have used a train! Are car exits aloud? You were so close to a highway ramp that would have secured your exit if so! Ahhhh! I loved the ending that happened but you are giving us all anxiety!

I think you should be required (there should be some rule) to end last 5-10 minutes in a chase (exclusively sport cars). this way the end would always be chaotic and action filled.
A trick for rolling down a broken window (in my experience) is to look to the drivers side door while flipping the bird then looking in down so left then down. That will make the player’s arm hit the broken glass and it will disappear. I remember that working 100% of the time
A slow start but once the first car chase happened it was choas and once the chaos happened at the end it scared Alex very much, but it's still nice to hear the dread and fear in Alex's voice from the first prius
I have an idea for a "Survive the Hunt" variation called "The Sentence". In the beginning, you have a sentence of "30 hours". You may only use the escape after doing your sentence. Every blown up Pri reduces your sentence by 1 hour, up to 6 times. After blowing up 6 Pris, your sentence cannot be reduced, but you get perks: At 7 Pris, you may use super cars without violating the super car rule. However, using a super car loses you the ability to call Lester. At 8 Pris, in addition to the escape, you can also win by killing a hunter and then losing your wanted level. At 9 Pris, you win immediately, that is: even before 24 hours. Only rule is you must not die in the act of destroying the 9th Pri. Here are my considerations behind this: The idea is that you have to blow up a minimum of 6 Pris to be able to win after 24 hours. Blowing up less means you have to survive for longer. If you make it to 7, there are several considerations: * Violating the super-car-rule could make it easier to get to 8 or 9 even early in the day. * If you got to 8 within 24 hours, the real perk is that the hunters can't recklessly hunt you while you try to escape, because now they got to worry you can kill them and then "only" need to lose the wanted level. If you hadn't used a super car at that time and Lester is available, that's an instant-win for you. If you had used a super car, you better put it to good use to run from the cops. * If during the hunt you manage to kill even another Pri, you deserve to win for that achievement, no questions asked.
Definitely, a clear reward for blowing up a Pri would be a great variation. There could even be a nerf (like can't use Lester, can’t steal a vehicle) that decrease with every blown up Pri until you get buffs (you can use super cars without breaking super cars rule) after a couple of Pris
Survive the Hunt, but one of the hunters is a secret mole whose job is to help Alex win. They can disrupt chases and give false information until the hunters figure out who the mole is and kill them.

Random events can sometimes disable Lester's anti-police function. Particularly annoying when you have those events hidden and so aren't even aware of it, let alone participating. Armored Car may be one of those events though.
I can't wait for the Hunter Commentary. I want to learn some new bad words from that last bit.

A slow start but once the first car chase happened it was choas and once the chaos happened at the end it scared Alex very much, but it's still nice to hear the dread and fear in Alex's voice from the first prius
I have an idea for a "Survive the Hunt" variation called "The Sentence".
In the beginning, you have a sentence of "30 hours".
You may only use the escape after doing your sentence.
Every blown up Pri reduces your sentence by 1 hour, up to 6 times.
After blowing up 6 Pris, your sentence cannot be reduced, but you get perks:
At 7 Pris, you may use super cars without violating the super car rule. However, using a super car loses you the ability to call Lester.
At 8 Pris, in addition to the escape, you can also win by killing a hunter and then losing your wanted level.
At 9 Pris, you win immediately, that is: even before 24 hours. Only rule is you must not die in the act of destroying the 9th Pri.
Here are my considerations behind this:
The idea is that you have to blow up a minimum of 6 Pris to be able to win after 24 hours.
Blowing up less means you have to survive for longer.
If you make it to 7, there are several considerations:
* Violating the super-car-rule could make it easier to get to 8 or 9 even early in the day.
* If you got to 8 within 24 hours, the real perk is that the hunters can't recklessly hunt you while you try to escape, because now they got to worry you can kill them and then "only" need to lose the wanted level. If you hadn't used a super car at that time and Lester is available, that's an instant-win for you. If you had used a super car, you better put it to good use to run from the cops.
* If during the hunt you manage to kill even another Pri, you deserve to win for that achievement, no questions asked.
Definitely, a clear reward for blowing up a Pri would be a great variation. There could even be a nerf (like can't use Lester, can’t steal a vehicle) that decrease with every blown up Pri until you get buffs (you can use super cars without breaking super cars rule) after a couple of Pris
His indecisiveness drives me nuts at times. Also how he uses the weapon wheel everytime to put his gun away when you can just tap the button.
Imagine Alex actually winning a STH for once. What a shocker.
Survive the Hunt, but one of the hunters is a secret mole whose job is to help Alex win. They can disrupt chases and give false information until the hunters figure out who the mole is and kill them.
Better yet, make it the blimp. So the blimp is giving away false information. 😂😂

there’s not a single series of youtube videos i come back to this frequently, favourite thing about a new month is a new survive the hunt, keep it up alex, not looking forward to the day sth ends
Seeing the survive the hunt series makes me wonder if buggs could pull off an escape against the hunters

I know it gives you an unfair advantage but you run the risk of dying from their explosion 😂
Knowing how STH goes he would have a bigger risk of dying from his _own_ explosives.
I cannot wait for the next episode of Discuss the Hunt, so many near misses and obliviousness from the hunters this time around.

Alex's job of hiding the Felon is the equivalent of hiding under the bed with your feet sticking out

Random events can sometimes disable Lester's anti-police function.
Particularly annoying when you have those events hidden and so aren't even aware of it, let alone participating.
Armored Car may be one of those events though.
