- We have finally passed our last frost date, and I'm starting to plant my summer garden. Join me for planting Heritage Raspberries, direct-sowing two varieties of green beans (Jade and Dragon Tongue) and cutting two varieties of seed potatoes (Kennebec and Eva).
Congratulations on a thousand subscribers!
Thank you! I’m grateful.
I sure hope your raspberries grow and produce a lot of fruit! I have a peach tree that is loaded this year for the first time. I’m excited! I’m enjoying watching your homestead evolve. Have a great week!
Thank you! My husband and I were just talking this morning about where/when we can plant fruit trees; I love that you've got those peaches. I'll do my peach-picking at a local orchard this year, and hopefully grow my own in the future.
I love yellow beans so picking is easier (to see).
Good call. That reminds me of the time I planted a tomato variety that ripened to dark green. Ha, terrible idea.
Good Friday planting was our Illinois guideline.
It’s usually Mother’s Day around here, but I jumped the gun a little bit.
One youtuber showed broadcasted bush beans….then pull all plants when loaded and harvest.
