Building A Tomato Trellis

I'm on a mission to grow and raise more of my family's food, and that means it's time to scale up my gardening. I'm going to maximize my tomato harvest this year with a 12" spacing, pruning and training the main stalk up a string trellis. Follow along as we build a raised bed trellis for 21 tomatoes.

The trellis looks very nice! I’m anxious to see how it works with your tomatoes. I always use fencing or cages. I like this idea you are trying. Hopefully many tomatoes are in your future! Have a great week.

Thanks! I’ve been keeping Jon busy these days with all my projects; I’m so glad he can build these things for me. Hopefully, I’ll be sharing videos of a good tomato harvest in a few months.

This is a very simple design that I came up with about 15 years ago. About 10 years ago, I saw it at an AirBnB I stayed at in Chattanooga. They didn't steal it from me, they just came up with it on their own because it's a very simple design.
