Highlight of this Trip report truly is those couple of seconds when Aztec Camera stepped in with their smash SOMEWHERE IN MY HEART out of ´87.
hahaha that was good, and I am glad they played it out loud!
Concluding remarks by the cabin crew saying that they met lovely people on board has perhaps been the best airline announcement I’ve heard. It is also leaps and strides ahead of pre recorded ones. Good work dude, big fan!

Totally agree with you, HKG is the best imo, so efficient, huge terminal, great sppoting with so many widebodies. Whenever i travel to Asia i always try to stop over HKG, and take a short break in that awesome city when posible. Great job Jayden!!, and good luck with your studies

I’m flying on the Virgin Dreamliner in May so I’m glad you uploaded this! I’m flying in Economy Delight and I know you get a bit more legroom in that cabin class but the seats are the same. I’m only on a 7 hour day flight so I’m not too bothered about the comfort. Great video as always ✈️

Great Video, glad to see that you with 35K subscribers promoting smaller RUclipsrs in helping them grow. It is very rare for successful RUclipsrs to help smaller RUclipsrs grow. We never used to post Aviation as much but now having more opportunity to fly more we like to include aviation. We are mainly railway videos however we would want to grow more into aviation videos as I personally do find them more interesting. Keep it going and helping other smaller RUclipsrs grow. I've been on this route a few times, love virgin Atlantic, last time I flew home from Hong Kong, I was in the P/e cabin, and after dinner I slept all the way till breakfast just before arrival in London!!!

@@JaydenWong wow that is cool... On the return flight from Seoul to Hong Kong I messed up my booking and left on the early flight and missed out on Asiana 747.. 😭 But it gave me more time on my last day in Hong Kong :)

Your video reminded me of my first flight to London from Narita in 2013 on Virgin Atlantic.
I would say it was very pleasant flight.
At that time it was operated by A340 series. I hope they will soon resume their service to Tokyo.

Hello Jayden, hope all is well! Really nice review here! I really like the cabin, wow! It looks fresh, sleek, modern and I love the mood lighting as well as the bright orange blanket!! Hello Eric! Back in good old Hong Kong, but a bit lifeless this time. Almost like self-quarantining myself😂Hmmmm, they charge for champagne! Definitely a LCC😆
VA is not a low-cost airline, but can be cheaper than BA.
Nice review Jayden. Although the lounge doesn't have natural lighting but it's still looking decent though. Nice upgrade of the camera there, no additional gear required for the wide mode video. I understand the difficulties of filming in dark cabin but at least they have mood lighting turned on, since some other airlines don't even bother turning on their mood lighting and make the cabin completely dark all the way.

Hiya I travel a lot.. from around 50 flights a year over the previous 20 years for work, maybe down to 25 these days for leisure .. watching some of your videos seeing air travel from the different perspective of a younger traveller is a nice change from the other reviewers .. And your Hong Kong base of course which is one of my favorite airports.. I dont travel economy too often.. but VS looked okay.. Just Can't make my mind up about VS.. Keep up the interesting and funny video's

I agree Hong Kong is an awesome airport,love the seafood and champagne bar there,and the view of the planes coming in and out.My worst ever flight was in 2008 London to Bangkok British Airways economy.Had the misfortune of being sat around the vicinity of a basketball team,some very tall guys which resulted in having someone’s knee’s pressed into my back for 11 and a half hours,have never been in economy class on a long haul flight since.

Oh yes I always walk past those restaurants and bars especially in the middle of the airport after got 30s, before gate 40s. They do look good but I've never had a chance to try them out yet as I usually head straight to the lounge or the food court

Great video, Jayden! I was surprised by how dark the cabin looked on boarding. I thought it may just have been the camera, but sound like that it was actually that dark. Glad the service was good. What is the typical price on other airlines on that route? Seemed a little high based on your other trip reports.
My iphone 11 actually captures darkness better than my older iphone 8. If I used iphone 8, the video would be pitch dark😂 Another thing is that the seat back is black, so it makes the cabin look even darker too!
Yeah HKG to London is always very expensive, especially with BA, CX and VS direct. Before the Chinese airlines became 'big' 4-5 years ago. Ticket costs about USD1500 return! Today, you can now fly in premium economy for that price. I paid a little bit less than what I mentioned in the video, and that got me free baggage allowance and a BA connection to Barcelona😝

Do you like the lighting of the cabin? From your video, I think it is a little bit dark when compared to other airlines or aircraft.
yep I like, but it can be a bit brighter. For example on Virgin Australia they have similar dark lights, but when boarding they turn on all the reading lights too :)
Also another thing is VS seats are all black at the back, making the cabin look even darker haha. Thanks very much for watching😊
