Thanks for the helpful comparison. I bought a similar umbrella after waving one of your previous videos. Then I bought a tool holster from Home Depot designed for pliers or wire cutters that's announced 8 inches deep and narrow with a handy belt flap. It takes 2 seconds to collapse the umbrella and stick it in the holster. Very handy! The umbrella helps with my speedlite!

How are you attaching the umbrella to the flash? I’ve been using MagBounce for years and this is fascinating.

Honestly I was just holding it. But an easier way is to use a flash bracket which I do use. Then you can add a strap to wear over your shoulder.

(I just saw this video AFTER I made my other comment on your magsphere vs Godox sphere comparison. It's hard to tell, you were facing the wall but were you still bouncing off of the ceiling / wall using the magbounce? I actually do my pops with the magbounce straight above my head, as far as i can reach bouncing straight into the room.

I forgot about this video! Yes, I just shoot into the room as if it was an umbrella.
