How to make homemade cold porcelain clay ✨( How I make clay charms without polymer clay )

- Here are the components
1 cup cornstarch
1 cup white pva glue
2 tbsp vinegar or other preservative
2 tbsp baby oil ( I used coconut oil )
I heated mine in microwave but you can do it on stove as well 🩷✨

Your clay looks so smooth without sanding :O
This kind of clay doesn’t need to be sanded and can’t be sanded, therefore you need to get it rlly smooth before drying 😅
Glass bowl
1 cup white PVA glue
1 cup of corn starch
Mix together until all gone
Add oil that is flavourless and colourless
Add synthetic vinegar
Baby oil or coconut oil
Mix together thoughtfully
OPTIONAL *add small amount of white acrylic*
It should be runny when u mix with the spoon
MICROWAVE for 30 seconds and take breaks
After 1st 30 seconds there will be a thin layer on top mix it until there is nothing ontop
Repeat process with 30 seconds until it it slightly sticky , when u apply to plan there should be no residue
Allow the clay to cool of just a bit and add cornstarch if the clay feels sticky *1tsp at a time*
Knead the clay until completely cold to touch
Add corn starch on desk first
Do a quality test by doing a droplet
Apply Baby oil or coconut oil on the skin everywhere so that When done store very properly by plastic wrap and add in a container that doesn’t get air In it, leave for 24 hours and check back with it.

Make sure to drizzle some oil on your hands and the clay (not too much) before kneading!

she's using chalk pigments
This clay in Brazil is called Biscuit clay. You can find tutorials on RUclips searching for biscuit
I have a doubt, how long can we keep the clay till it hardens, does it crack? And how can i remove the clay on the table and hands?
You have to keep the clay in polythene and seal in a jar and use any time but remember to keep it seal
Wood glue or any type of "premium glue" will give you the best results. If you use school glue like plain Elmer's there is more likely of a chance it will crack. It looks like the brand she's using is Fevicol.

In the film, sealed bag and in an airtight container. Anywhere should be fine if it's normal temp.

Apply any kind of colorless oil in the surface of the clay, wrap it up using parchment paper and store it in a container:)

It works but i did three mistakes in my first attempt
I will tell it so you don't do it too :
1 i used maida instead of corn starch
2 i added edible colored oil
3 for didn't heat it in microwave or stove
But it still turned out nice 👍🏻
If anyone dose not know what maida means it is basically just flower like not a flower flower to make cake

I love your art! I made this clay. Very sticky and cooked it at 30 second intervals about 7-8 times 😞. Wrapped it up for 24 hours, still so sticky 💔

I made it using a recipe i found on the internet and it worked but most git stuck on the pan which was kind of dissapointing but it still worked and it doesnt have any cracks when you make something

Here is the different recipe of air dry clay:
1 cup of corn flour/ corn starch
1 cup of lotion
2 tbsp of lemon/ vinegar
2 tbsp of baby oil/ coconut oil
You can heat in microwave or stove it🎉

U can keep it out to dry for 2 hours straight, or u can also bake the clay charms in the oven for 1 min or 30 secs. Hope this helps 🩵
