      Whether or not you feel tired after sleeping 4 6 hours, you are doing incredible harm to your brain. Keep doing that consistently and you can do some irreversible damage. You're brain needs minimum 7 hours to sleep and max 9, 8 hours is the optimimum. If you actually want to learn how bad it is, just go and type the effects of short term and long term sleep deprivation

    • @Lev-The-King
      @Lev-The-King 7 лет назад

      Mart you might be right and I'd like to hear more why you think so. To me there's a short period of time when you can have caffeine. An hour after you wake up, you get most of its benefits, and till before 8 hours before you go to bed. Thus really you only have 7 hours out of 16 hours to consume it.

    I love waking up early. There are only 2 things you need to do to get used to waking up early.
    1. Go to bed earlier and try avoiding bright screen before sleeping.
    2. Get used to it. When you've woken up early for a week, you feel less tired every time.

  • @lennartsenden1220
    @lennartsenden1220 7 лет назад +2

    waking up not feeling tired is almost impossible in our times just because there are so many factors like the light in the evening and in the morning. But your very own sleep rythm that is genetically given to you is a factor too. this often doesn't fit in with our timetables. But if you wake up everyday the same time you will lose this feeling of tiredness faster. I feel very week every morning but i set an alarmclock far away from my bed and after walking this distance i feel waaaay better.

    I sleep 7 1/2 hours and already go to bed, at 10pm. Sleeping 9 hours is way better, but I really don't want to go to bed at 8.30pm. Especially because I get home at 6.30pm and I need to eat, do homework, study and shower before going to bed. Homework already consumes around one or two hours. Sleeping 9 hours is a nice dream, but doesn't work for me. Except my government decides to make better public transport, because a bus comes only every one hour and I'm 40 minutes too early for school. Sometimes I study or do homework in that time, but often I'm just too tired. Hopefully these tips will help me to feel a little bit less exhausted, because it sucks to (almost) fall asleep in half of my classes and I really need the energy.

    I usually use this trick that worked on me. For example if I need to wake up at 7am I tell myself out loud 'I will get up at 7am.' several times. You don't need to say it out loud. I've seen some people telling themselves to wake up at 6.30am if they want to wake up at 7am. I guess that's because everyone have different biological clocks. So that's a tip that I use and hopefully this will help you :)

    Melatonin is not affected by the light that hits your skin, but the light that stimulates a specific type of photoreceptor cell in your retina (intrinstically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells, which contain melanopsin in order to function properly). I guess you were mixing things up with melanin, which is the skin pigment.
    Also, 7:30hrs should be fine for most people. Above 8 hours is not necessary, let alone 9. And please don't come at me with the testosterone broscience, you don't need 9hrs of sleep for that.

      The Fly Ry no as iOS does not permit anyone or anything to access core functionality such as screen control. Flux and twilight both need administrator controls to fundamentally change the colour display schemes. iOS forbids this because it's apple. Whilst I have their phone it's honestly the most irritating part of it, I just couldn't deal wth another 5" smart phone though.

      If you intentionally lucid dream it will most likely disrupt your sleep cycles due to the methods used to induce one. However, if you just happen to lucid dream naturally without using any methods such as waking yourself up in the middle of the night or some other method disruptive to your sleep, then it's not harmful at all.

      Actually, quite the opposite. You want to feel energized when you wake up? NoFap. No matter how much I want to, I literally cannot fall back to sleep once I wake up because my body has too much energy. I wake up with 4 hours of sleep and have more energy throughout the day compared to when I wake up with 9 hours of sleeping while I"m addicted to porn and masturbation. If you masturbate, you will feel lethargic and sleepy, the opposite of energetic. You also get brain fog, which doesn't help with starting your day with clear thinking. Before you say that masturbating helps you sleep, NoFap actually helps you fall asleep easier without any stimuli. I don't struggle with falling asleep since I didn't condition my brain and body to depend on masturbation to fall asleep. I just wanted to throw out some facts and personal experience out there for others.

      Well I think you have less energy when you wake up with 9 hours of sleep because your body needed more rest because of you sleeping 4 hours only for 3-7 days straight.
      What i'm trying to say is for example you slept only 4 hours for like 4 days straight what happens is that your body needs more energy next time, so what will happen is that when you sleep on your 9 hour sleep it is just restoring the lack of energy you have. After your 9 hour sleep your body is fully energized so when you sleep on your 4 hour sleep and wake up you feel you have more energy but in reality your body is just taking some of your reserve energy.

I just wanted to know one more thing which I liked very much is how do you make this animation video. If you could help me with that I will get started with your steps..

    Two Questions. The obvious 1st question is where does sex take place?
    The 2nd one is more specific to me. I NEED to sleep in my reclining chair. A flat bed leaves all my joints stiff and sore when I wake up, and lasts for hours. I don't have the TV on, and lately been using guided sleep meditation to help, but I still don't get enough sleep.

    I've done sleep studies and here is how to sleep better and increase melatonin.
    1) Get over 10,0000UI of Vitamin D a day from the sun. Vit D converts to melatonin at night.
    2) At night only turn on enough lights to just see enough. Candles are the best. This how your body knows its night time.
    3) Get flux and turn the brightness down to the lowest on your devices.
    4) Have a cold shower before going to bed to lower your core temperature. That's why people sleep better in aircon.
    5) During the day work next to a big window. During the day it needs to be bright so your body knows it day. That's why your friends who work outside sleep amazingly.
    6) Do transcendental meditation before sleeping. This increases melatonin production and lowers brainwaves to help you get to deep sleep.

    hey guys, since we're fine with using apps to get better sleep, why don't you try smart alarms like sleepbot (Android)?? It'll track your sleep n when it is naturally the lightest it'll ring (close to the time you've set). It works for me.
    Research about sleep cycles if you need better explanation

    I'm wondering if the example you gave about the 9 hour sleep cycle works. If we go to bed at 11 pm to wake up for work at 8 am, that accounts for the 9 hours. What's missing here is the preparation and transportation before one gets there. Just saying!

    bro im really a fan of what you do and I think its great and I love it. I even have a stash of your channel's vids in my phone and I watch them often.haha. Im all into the productivity and generally in improving your life but recently I transferred into Night work. I enjoy my work and i feel comfortable doing night work but Im really curious as to how I can still be productive, keep my mind healthy and keep in shape. I hope you can make a vid out of this topic because the fact is theres not a lot of vids that talk about this topic. Maybe youll get a new group of audience with this ,maybe not, Just saying. haha anyway Good job man, Keep this channel Alive,it helps a lot of people just like me. Hope you give this topic a chance. thanks!
