Seriously, these days I'm kinda beating myself up I didn't do that 35 years ago! Then again, demand for sleep and social desires are actually different when you're U-20! That said, what do we do past 21.00 pm, study, meditate, take a walk in the rain, learn a new language, paint, yoga?? Nah, it's the time we give in to our most unhealthy habits, partly because our will-power resources have run out, and we are in fact tired. It really is helpful. You make sure you go to bed early, put your phone away, wake up at 5 and you have so much energy throughout the day! My depression has decreased because of sleep and productive things
It’s crazy.. I started to wake up at 4:30 am.. the first 2 days were hard and then something changed. I had so much energy and it seemed to come and go with the sun. Definitely changed my life.
Since early childhood, I've gotten up between 3:30 and 4:30 nearly every day. My father once told me, "Anyone who sees the sun rise and set in the same day is doubly blessed."
I am not an early riser unless I have something very important to do.. But once I tried to wake up early at 5 a.m..In the beginning,it was so hard but gradually I overcome it and I feel myself so positive, light, calm, healthy and confident than before.. I do it for some months coz I have serious illness at that time.. But now I am gonna start it again..and will try to do it forever in my life.. That's why I am here..
I'm an early riser 5 everyday 10 mile run and 100 squats I've been doing it now for 8 years and it had changed my life now my body automatically wakes up on its own this is the healthiest I've been my whole life thanks for your video loved it
I’m a mom of 3 (one being a toddler) and I wake up at 5:30 every morning. It gives me the “Me Time” I long for and need. I wake up, workout, take a shower, and eat breakfast all before I need to prepare my kids for their day. I enjoy getting the most out of my day and I’m a strong believer of this method. 😊🙌🏻
Train your kids too ..to wake up early and go to bed on time....Let them also enjoy the benefits.... .Like.....each new accademic year they should wake up 15 minutes earlier than the last year......
Successful people wake up at 5:30 AM so I started waking up at 4:30 AM to get a head start. Then I thought about all the people waking up at 3:30 AM and how they have a head start on me, so now I wake up at 2:30 AM
I’ve always wanted to wake up at 5am. But I kept waking up at 8am. So I woke up 15 minutes earlier each day. When I finally got to the 5 am mark, I then kept waking up at that time for about a week. And I have to say it is the best experience of my life. I felt much more productive and energized and more focused throughout the whole entire day. So please wake up at 5am it literally will change your life.
During vacation I did some late mornings and continued that trend somewhat when I returned to work and noticed that I wasn't as lively as before. Only this week I decided to stop hitting my snooze button and get up at 5.30am. It's amazing what a difference that had made in my everyday. I feel so alive and happier. I'm glad your experiment supported this because a part of me thought that it was only in my mind.
I love waking up early in the morning. Waking up early has unlimited benefits. Waking up early adds extra extra hours to do what you like doing. Nice video👏👏👏👍👍👍
How does it add extra hours? Waking up at 5:30 would mean that you go sleep earlier so you are essentially moving hours from the evening to the morning.
I start waking up 5am and it made me feel ok than waking of 1hour before leaving for work So that two hours is like "me time" before i prep myself in office uniform and go to work without hurrying
I am from India. Born and brought up in hilly areas. There people generally sleep by 9 or 10 pm. Naturally they wake up early. I always found them warm and happy. They have determination built in them. People are healthy and cheerful. Waking up early gives you all such added benefits. My parents always asked me to wake up early to which I refused. But from quite sometimes now I am waking up around 4:30-5:30 am. Trust me it makes a beautiful day. I hit the gym by 6:30. Initially my target was to loose weight. But now I realised working out makes me happy. It gives a kind of satisfaction. Guys first 3 weeks are hard to start but if you stick to the plan you will experience the difference. All the best!!! Stay blessed everyone :)
I’ve been waking at 5am for the past month and I admit my quality of life has drastically improved. The key for me is doing something I enjoy first thing in the morning: a hot cup of tea. Then some sort of movement, like yoga. Then I get ready and go about my normal routine. My mornings are better and I’m ready to focus by the time I get to work. Starting the day with some solitude and less overall anxiety really does make all the difference!
I definitely agree with the whole putting your alarm on the other side of the room thing. I do it myself. I also put all my electronic devises outside my room and wake up at 6:00am in the morning. Watching this video has inspired me to wake up a little earlier to get stuff done plus it has shown me that even waking up a little earlier means nothing if you are unproductive. I spend countless hours moping around even when i get 9 hours of full sleep. I'm planning to start a daily routine and get into the habit of following it. Thanks the bright side!
DEAR FELLOW KIDS!!! DO NOT WAKE UP AT 5:30 UNLESS YOU CAN GO TO SLEEP FROM 7:00-8:30! You need that sleep while you're developing. Not getting enough sleep can later lead to growth and health problems. If you are unable to go to bed at those times, wait until you're an adult to start following what this video says.
I sleep at 10 pm and I wake up at 5:50 am and this has been going on for years now so I am not sure if your statement is true even my dad does not have a problem with it😑😑
I always wake up at 4:30 AM to do a prayer, take a bath with cold water at 5:00 AM, and doing activity after that. After all day from activity, I'm doing The last mandatory prayer of the day at 7:00 PM and if there's no other thing to do, I'm go to sleep at 9:00 PM. Usually, I'm wake up at 1:00 PM to do a Sunnah prayer (this is not mandatory), and sleep again until wake up at 4:30 AM again, and the routine continue. I'm not doing it for mental or health development, it's just my routine, but what this video told it, it's true. Your mind is clear, body getting strong although you didn't workout, and of course your soul is amazingly better.
There's an old rule to plan your sleep to have X times 90-minute cycles. Every 90 minutes includes deep sleep and at the end of the cycle we're nearly awake and the next cycle begins etc. So it's easier to wake up after 6h sleep than after 6 1/2 hours when you might be in deep sleep stage. Try 6 or 7 1/2 hrs. It works.
Yes, but I've found out that I don't do much at night because I feel like I should be getting ready for bed, or that I don't have enough time to complete a task, so waking up earlier would sort of give you more time to achieve goals.
Yep, thats true, wake up early won’t give us extra hours in a day, but wake up early makes us become more productive, which is gonna feel like we have extra hours in a day.
Nobody will see this comment, but incase you do, what i do is: Wake up at 5:30 AM with an alarm set 10 minutes later. . Say a prayer ( eyes open & actually talking, if you say it in your head you can fall back asleep! ) . Grab my notebook and write out my thoughts and my morning so far, it will make you less tired and is good for you. you can write out your goals for the day, your stresses, anything you want. In that journal i mark all the morning entries with a star. This is also good to keep your eyes open, your hands moving, and remember not to doze off. . Once the alarm goes off I get out of bed and turn on the light then go brush your teeth and all, then i listen to a few songs . Go downstairs and get water . And that's it, this is a very mindful and nice morning routine and It is my favorite. You could try it for school if you'd like
I wake up at 5:15 and simply look at the ceiling for 10 minutes and then i shower. Using those 10 minutes as a prayer seems like a good idea to start my day, thank you!
Prayer in the Morning is the most important thing, I try to kneel down right after making my bed to say my morning prayers, I'm personally Catholic so within a hour or two of getting up I try to say my daily rosary, because if I don't I won't end up reciting the Holy Mysteries until right before bed.
I normally fall asleep at around 12am-4am and wake up at 10am-12pm. Ill try to be asleep by 12am and wake up by 5:30am who knows, maybe it will do a miracle. After all, a human only ever needs 6-7 hours of rest to be fully energized, so it wouldn't hurt to get 5 hours in and a delicious cup of coconut water.
The human body dose npt even need that much sleep. Watch bright sides video on polycystic sleeping P.S. good chance i spelt that wrong not the best at spelling
My work start's at 06:00am, só i leave the bed 05:20 and my day is really productive, but i have to sleep 11:00pm or maximum 11:30pm, and that time i'm really excited, want to do everything, and this make me miserable somedays, cause i went to bed 12:00pm or later. It's really incredible how 30 minutes can make a huge difference in your how day.
I don’t wake up at 5 but I wake up 2 hours before I need to leave for work and it definitely feels good not having to rush and feel your whole morning is dedicated to getting to work.
Make every hour of 24 hours count 8 hours of sleep 8 /10 hours of work 8/6 hours of your own time Those 6/8 is the question .. what are u going to do .. chill and do nothing ?? Or do something productive and get ahead ..
This video has convinced me to wake up at 5:30 and see how it goes. I am sure there are benefits to it without any loss. I recommend the channel to post short video it takes a huge amount of time.
Without waking up at 5:30, something that definitely changed my experience of work was to take time in the morning to have breakfast. Before that, I would stay as long as I could in my bed before I had to go to work before I just did not know what else to do and I did not wanted to do anything else. Then I was heading to work and at work I had no motivation because my days were -staying in bed -working -eating and sleeping And the best time of all that was to eat So I was always feeling unmotivated and that my life was one endless day only filled with unproductive work and a lot of procrastination Sometimes you procrastinate because it feels good and you feel like it's your good thing in the day but it's not actually pleasant But I did not have a lot of distraction, I was in a isolated town and at home I felt so alone, I always wanted to do more work but I was actually procrastinating when I was at work Waking up only 20 minutes before my normal time to take breakfast really helped to not rush into the day. It was my time to relax, find my pace and my flow of thinking, and then I was much more relax and ok when I was going to work. Life was not anymore an endless day because I had this time in the morning to take my time and find myself
I loved this video! Thank you for sharing! I’m struggling with my night routine so I can wake up refreshed and well rested, so this helped me remember things I can do to go bed on time. I can’t wait to share my experience on my RUclips channel 😊🙌🏼
I work evenings, and often don't get home until after 10 p.m. So I normally don't get to sleep before midnight. Therefore getting up at 5:30 a.m. is a little unrealistic for me. But I do typically arise at 7 a.m. and have a good three hours before I usually need to leave the house. I like not having to wake up to an alarm. And I like being able to make appointments in the morning. For example, it's no problem making it to a 8 a.m. dentist or doctor appointment.
I fell off the wagon this summer, but starting again with the early rise tomorrow. It really does work. The peacefulness is reward enough if you have school aged kids .
As a moslem I usually get up at 4:00 AM because it's our time to do the dawn prayer (subuh prayer), after that I have no reason to go back to my bed except on weekend if my body felt exhausted in the day before. Like what you said in the video, waking up early is giving you extra time to enjoy your life and do many things you've never done before like tasting a cup of coffee or tea in the morning while you read your favorite books or news, doing exercise or maybe clean your house. Without realizing it, I think it gives positive impact to our daily activity.
Isn’t if funny how Muslims are required to wake up early for prayer and fast for Ramadan, and encouraged to practice fasting throughout the year. These two things are now known to be extremely healthy habits.
My body, mind and spirit has been forcing me to get up at 5 am for a month now. I wondered why but it felt great to watch the sun rise and plan. It basically helps me to be more productive and less stressed
I’m definitely gonna try it again. Did it a while back and clearly it was my most productive period but then I got a kid and the late nights and waking up several times disrupted my flow. But I believe going to bed earlier and planning to wake up at 5:30 would be great to accomplish most of my tasks before my lovely son wakes up 🙂.
To all people watching this, don't worry this might not be the solution you need and this is not necessary I always am most productive at nighttime, between 1:00 AM-4:00 AM. I always learn maths and develop myself in that interval of the day. That's just how my body works, that's when it's energetic. I actually got to try this by "incident" as this year I was in a 10-day camp and we partied all night and after that I slept early and woke up early for a week. At that time, in the morning I couldn't be really productive, since it's hot out there, I'm sweating, you hear noises, your family constantly bothers you with things.. I wasn't even close to being as productive as I used to be.. So I switched back and I don't mind it
Mihály Hanics True, I do a lot of my work late at night and that’s when I’m most efficient. I usually go to sleep around 1:00 AM and wake up around 7:20 AM, but I take naps at either 10:00 AM or 4:00 PM
Waking up this early is a really good way to up productivity. It can have great benefits including more time with your loved ones. Making time for the people that are important to you is what living full out is all about.
I began waking up at 0445 as I needed to prepare for work with a shower, suited / booted & out the door to get the train. I drove to the station & had the choice of premium car spaces as I was 2 hours earlier than others. The train had shift workers onboard but no-one else in a suit. I arrived at 0600 at work & immediately fired up my PC as I enjoyed #2 coffee. This gave me 1.5 hours of peace to attack my in tray & emails without distractions of others in our open office. I enjoyed a 30 minute lunch then ended my work day at 4.15pm. A fast walk to catch the train & quick fast tea before heading to lectures. I found I was never tired as I went to bed at 10.30pm but slept in 2 hours longer on weekends. It was a routine I enjoyed until I graduated & then my contract was finished soon after. To save time I always made sure I selected a suit / shirt + tie the night before + I prepped my coffee / milk / sugar in the travel cup ready in the fridge as I don't eat breakfast. I sipped my coffee as my train arrived & drank it on the journey with a read of the paper - I was news educated & prepped for the day ahead.
....To get up 5:30 am, you need to have already at least 7 or 8 hours sleep before it. Otherwise, you will feel exhausted throughout the day, it's important to have a good sleep first to do this routine.
We have two boys from 4 and 2 years old who are still waking up in the middle of the night. So difficult to wake up so early if you had a bad night of sleep.
You can actually train your body to get up at any set time by repetition but you just have to do it for about a week or 2 consistently...the key is to start out 30 mins at a time getting up earlier until you master the time you are trying to achieve.
Hey dude. I must say I started to wake up earlier as well now. But I only woke up one hour earlier. It was so good to not have to stress about getting to work directly. I didn't even feel super tired. :D I got up had a little breakfast did a little 5 minute workout (those 5 minutes of planking) which took me about 20-30 minutes because I'm not really used to do it but I will. Then took a shower brushed my teeth and even found some time to practise on my piano. :D This is amazing. I will try to keep going and wake up at 5 a.m. my time. :D I can actually gain some more time if I get used to the workout so I can do it in those 5 Minutes at once. :D Thank you so much. I will be able to change my whole live now :P

It really is helpful. You make sure you go to bed early, put your phone away, wake up at 5 and you have so much energy throughout the day! My depression has decreased because of sleep and productive things
I daily wake up early at 5:30

WOOOW IM WATCHING AT 4 AM AND I DIDNT SLEEP
Does anyone else fell like all the people in bright side are robots
Not at all
It’s crazy..
Gutty Dozen i sleep at 2:30 am...
Well is it working??? 😂😂
What time do u sleep😂😂
Looool
Gutty Dozen so are you managing it well? 😊
I do wake up at 5:00 AM to exercise and is the best feeling that you can have
I’ve always wanted to wake up at 5am.
This is how I was able to join the 5am club. Gradually waking up earlier every week. I'm on day 23 and have noticed a massive change for the better.
I like the 15 minutes early everyday
I also wake up at 5:30

Uri Rozenblit hahahahaha
Uri Rozenblit I just wrote the same thing darn
So your daily routine is a 4 hour day with 1 meal in 24 hours.

Why not stay up later and get it all done before bed instead of waking up early to do things?
Sheetal Pure Soul is xqzsss?!?~[[[[[£•••== our
Jason Day I think waking early means waking up to personal time for yourself and doing things that you not normally have time for
I wake up at 4:00 am but no results......
I start waking up 5am and it made me feel ok than waking of 1hour before leaving for work
So that two hours is like "me time" before i prep myself in office uniform and go to work without hurrying

It’s hard in winter!
that's true..but it's summer.
GAT YT it’s winter in Australia
Maybe you could try one of those ‘sun lamps’?
CheeryGiggles i find it easier in winter..
I find it way easier in winter
For now on I'm going to become an early riser.
This is HUGELY important to follow. Seriously, do it for two weeks and tell me you haven’t suddenly become far more productive and happier
It's easy for me to stay awake till 5:30 than waking up at that time.
Would you sub to my channle ?
Then absolutely you are a true gamer.
*getting up early is really a nice habit...apart from that we should get up early because new morning is a blessing for us*

Breyer Horse Studios I’m pretty this is directed towards adults.
But some kids just like me would not understand...
Uh school's a thing so.
I sleep at 10 pm and I wake up at 5:50 am and this has been going on for years now so I am not sure if your statement is true even my dad does not have a problem with it😑😑
@@theknowaboutchannel1999 Pls I wrote that when I was 12, maybe almost 13 and it depends on your age. Still, the ideal s 9-10 hrs.
Vrizk vrizk you are lying 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
@@sriramulum3049 lol that's how we as a Muslim do the routine. I dont know if that you and your imaginary gods do the same thing. But I don't think so
There's an old rule to plan your sleep to have X times 90-minute cycles. It works.
The earlier you wake up, the earlier you have to go to bed. It’s healthy, but it doesn’t give you extra hours in a day.
ilo oli I guess the theory behind it is that it gives you more hours of daylight?
Yes, but I've found out that I don't do much at night because I feel like I should be getting ready for bed, or that I don't have enough time to complete a task, so waking up earlier would sort of give you more time to achieve goals.
It gives as we get most of the time during daylight when the most fruitful works happen
Yep, thats true, wake up early won’t give us extra hours in a day, but wake up early makes us become more productive, which is gonna feel like we have extra hours in a day.
But the sleep quality improves and the morning hours are more productive
Nobody will see this comment, but incase you do, what i do is:
Wake up at 5:30 AM with an alarm set 10 minutes later.
.
Say a prayer ( eyes open & actually talking, if you say it in your head you can fall back asleep! )
.
Grab my notebook and write out my thoughts and my morning so far, it will make you less tired and is good for you. you can write out your goals for the day, your stresses, anything you want. In that journal i mark all the morning entries with a star. This is also good to keep your eyes open, your hands moving, and remember not to doze off.
.
Once the alarm goes off I get out of bed and turn on the light then go brush your teeth and all, then i listen to a few songs
.
Go downstairs and get water
.
And that's it, this is a very mindful and nice morning routine and It is my favorite. You could try it for school if you'd like
sarag sdsha you are the best! That is very helpful
I wake up at 5:15 and simply look at the ceiling for 10 minutes and then i shower. Using those 10 minutes as a prayer seems like a good idea to start my day, thank you!
Xlyo Gamez you are awesome!😊👍
Prayer in the Morning is the most important thing, I try to kneel down right after making my bed to say my morning prayers, I'm personally Catholic so within a hour or two of getting up I try to say my daily rosary, because if I don't I won't end up reciting the Holy Mysteries until right before bed.
I shall try it someday
I'm a night owl, but after watching this vid, I want to give
this experiment a whirl myself.
Did you try it ?
I don’t wake up at 5 but I wake up 2 hours before I need to leave for work and it definitely feels good not having to rush and feel your whole morning is dedicated to getting to work.
but then you keep yawning 😂
Waking up early in the morning makes me more productive and feel fresh😊 ❤️❤️❤️.

Waking up early really does help us with productivity since our brains feel like we have more time to do what we need
Make every hour of 24 hours count
8 hours of sleep
8 /10 hours of work
8/6 hours of your own time
Those 6/8 is the question .. what are u going to do .. chill and do nothing ?? Or do something productive and get ahead ..
Glad it worked for you-I did it because of work and had to be work at 5am-6 months later I thought I was going crazy
I wake up at 5:30 every morning.
Then I turn off the alarm and go back to sleep.

Without waking up at 5:30, something that definitely changed my experience of work was to take time in the morning to have breakfast. Before that, I would stay as long as I could in my bed before I had to go to work before I just did not know what else to do and I did not wanted to do anything else. Then I was heading to work and at work I had no motivation because my days were -staying in bed -working -eating and sleeping
And the best time of all that was to eat
So I was always feeling unmotivated and that my life was one endless day only filled with unproductive work and a lot of procrastination
Sometimes you procrastinate because it feels good and you feel like it's your good thing in the day but it's not actually pleasant
But I did not have a lot of distraction, I was in a isolated town and at home I felt so alone, I always wanted to do more work but I was actually procrastinating when I was at work
Waking up only 20 minutes before my normal time to take breakfast really helped to not rush into the day.
Goodluck waking up at 5:30 when you go to bed at 1 or 2am
carlo maderazo what the purpose of that???
he said: "go to bed 2 hours earlier" meaning that you have to go to bed at 11 or 12 am
That 4 hours a night. It can be done from me once a month and a week in a row in the winter but why more often???
What if u go to bed at 4 am
carlo maderazo it's easy to-do that I do that all the time and I don't need much sleep I stay focused the whole day without feeling tired
Rendra Zulfikar muslim*
Rendra Zulfikar I think 💭 put this beautifully! I am inspired to wake up early. You are right (:
This is beautiful that you do that. I personally will do that myself when I switch my schedule :)
It's very hard to pray in the midday and definitely at night
Isn’t if funny how Muslims are required to wake up early for prayer and fast for Ramadan, and encouraged to practice fasting throughout the year. These two things are now known to be extremely healthy habits.
I used to wake up at 8:30 for middle school and now i wake up for 5 o'clock for highschool and im still the same, just a little bit more tired
Shifting your sleep schedule doesn't add time in your day.
I'm in 8th grade i wake up at 4:45 and i leave at least at 6:20, the bad thing is that i sleep at 11 or 12
Dj St3rling urm yea it does, waking up at 7am other than 8am gives you en extra hour to get ready and not rush around.
Its just waking up at salat Al-fajr
Before light invention, people slept at sunset and wake up at sunrise that’s somehow salat Aichaa and salât Fajr..It’s already a good Habit in Islam.
Abdikadir Hashim yes it is sir are u a muslim i am muslim and u are completely right it is like waking up for fajar for us muslims

I mean he did, that’s why he said to put your alarm further away so you can get up. He said to start the routine right after.
Also, avoid coffee after 12 noon and have dinner before 7pm, your sleep will improve and it’ll get easier to get up early!
I go to sleep at 5.30 am.....

My body, mind and spirit has been forcing me to get up at 5 am for a month now. I wondered why but it felt great to watch the sun rise and plan. It basically helps me to be more productive and less stressed

I love mornings and it's true you are more productive thanks for this🙌
To all people watching this, don't worry this might not be the solution you need and this is not necessary
I always am most productive at nighttime, between 1:00 AM-4:00 AM.
Sounds great 👍 but not for people who do graveyard shift ..

Team Night Owl.
I feel like this is fine if you work a 9-5. But I have to be at work but 6am. So I would have to be up at 2:30am? That will never happen.
I got up had a little breakfast did a little 5 minute workout (those 5 minutes of planking) which took me about 20-30 minutes because I'm not really used to do it but I will. Then took a shower brushed my teeth and even found some time to practise on my piano. :D
This is amazing. I will try to keep going and wake up at 5 a.m. my time. :D
I can actually gain some more time if I get used to the workout so I can do it in those 5 Minutes at once. :D
Thank you so much. I will be able to change my whole live now :P
