  • Each human body is absolutely unique: we all have distinct features that make us stand out from the crowd. Even though our bodies are complex machines, we can learn how they work better and know how to act in any strange situation. For example, did you know that if you feel moody, you should hold a pencil between your teeth? And the smell of rosemary can activate your super-memory.

Many years ago when I had hiccups I was told to drink water from a cup covered with a paper towel (drink water through towel), I did it and immediately the hiccups stopped. After that, to stop hiccups, I close my eyes and imagine myself drinking water through a cup covered with a paper towel. Works every time! I call it my super power.

I've found that gently, but firmly, pressing on your closed eyes for about 10 seconds stops hiccups almost every time. If you try this on yourself or on others, remember to remove contact lenses first!
I've done this many times with my students and it works almost every time. If it doesn't work, tell the person to hold their breath until you say "breathe," then just don't tell them. When they finally HAVE to take a breath, their hiccups are usually gone.

A sure-fire cure for the hiccups is to eat a spoon full of peanut butter. I had tried everything before from holding my breath to drinking upside down and everything in between. I tend to get hiccups for over an hour to the put they were painful. A neighbor suggested the peanut butter method and was very surprised by how well it works.

It’s “sin-es-THEE-see-ah”. Don’t know where this guy learned to speak. Also, it is something where people can taste colors, not just music.
So I have three palmar creases, and an X on both palms…
I love cilantro and cilantro seeds.
I can see whole images without moving my eyes - my peripheral vision is very strong.
Women also have a stronger sense of smell, not just taste.
Thumb position depends on how the hands are clasped… left handers are opposite when they’re strong lefties. Ambidextrous folks do it either way depending on their comfort and habits.
I’m allergic to bleu cheese - a cheese that is made by introducing penicillin to the cheese as it develops.
Ear prints are as unique as fingerprints.
The ability to raise eyebrows (individually) and move ears (together or separately) are as uncommon as those who are able to form different shapes with their tongues. Some can make a ‘U’, a ‘W’, an ‘O’ and a few other shapes. Some can also fold their tongues in half inward.
