PLUS sound FX!? Wow. The sizzle effect when the hot sauce and pepper are added… **chefs kiss** 🤌
I absolutely LOVE that you include the time this took. I think it’s easy to lose track of how long things can take, or get caught up in an idea of how long things “should” take, and I know when I was younger “too much time needed” was very discouraging. Sometimes a project just takes the time it takes, and it feels like that’s more easily recognizable as okay when you have proof the pros take their time on things too.
i agree with this ! people should always know things take time, thus meaning everything.

It’s incredible to see this and how each page is individually made. As someone who’s been around art for a long time, even if I’m not great myself, I know how much work can go into even the smallest of projects, and seeing how much went into the new flip book you made in this video just continued to help show how wonderful of a medium art can be and how everything tells its own story. After all, there are always a hundred words in an image (or something along those lines)
I think the saying you're trying to recall actually goes: "A picture tells a thousand words". With the amount of effort that goes into making just one flip book, I think that quote is definitely on point. Animation really is something else...

When I saw how many pictures were needed for this flipbook I finally understand what animators go through
It’s not though
That was before... now animators use computer programs that make animation alot easier.
@@mnemonikz a computer is still not gonna draw frames for you, you still have to draw frames whether you do it digitally or traditionally then scan it digitally, computers made composition and coloring easier thats for sure though.
@@isLiminal yeah i know but you can easily duplicate a frame and just edit and adjust a few rather than redrawing everything from scratch.
@@mnemonikz yeah that technique is used a lot in anime or cartoons since the budget is pretty limited, but in most animated movies, a lot of the frames are redrawn, even when talking, to make the animation feel much more fluid and lifelike.
