I absolutely LOVE that you include the time this took. I think it’s easy to lose track of how long things can take, or get caught up in an idea of how long things “should” take, and I know when I was younger “too much time needed” was very discouraging. Sometimes a project just takes the time it takes, and it feels like that’s more easily recognizable as okay when you have proof the pros take their time on things too.

As someone who’s been around art for a long time, even if I’m not great myself, I know how much work can go into even the smallest of projects, and seeing how much went into the new flip book you made in this video just continued to help show how wonderful of a medium art can be and how everything tells its own story. After all, there are always a hundred words in an image (or something along those lines)

💡 Just one thing, the fire, when it ceases the flames become smaller but are always "attached" to the mouth. It kinda makes it seem like he's sucking in the last flames. You could draw the flame being spewed into the air and then cease by itself like a melting cloud, but also leave a couple of tiny flames around his lips.
This may be even easier to draw, especially with the coloring, but, imho, it adds some cool "physics" to the animation

This goes to show how awesome someone can become when they're paid to do what they love! I really love the fact that you use the actual product you sell to create these masterpieces. The sky is the limit!

Many people don't have the patience even watch 15-minutes video, youtubers have to do them very short, so think how incredible your patience is!!! But even more I'm impressed that you've created that first 2 animations as a child. I definetely couldn't when I was a child.

V3 looks awesome, but I can't help but love the V2. The cartoon style and jet of fire coming out of the dudes mouth is hilarious and very endearing.

We gotta appreciate the tons of effort and time he not only put on the great ending piece of art, but also on the magestic editing of this video with the narrative, zooms, setting, music, etc etc that is art itself as well!!!

that's really cool, I used to put little animations in the margins of my notebooks as I wrote notes in school and at the end of the school year, I'd flip through them. There were a couple that I rehashed like the haircut one, the ninja one, and the bouncing ball one. I later started doing digital flipbooks which I will say not quite as fun lol. There's just something about the traditional version that makes it special
