Love how Cybertron Adventures got bundled together with Dark of the Moon: Stealth Force Edition in a game called Transformers: Ultimate Battle Edition. I'm sure there's some poor kid out there who was stuck with those two as their only Transformers games.

I like how Cybertron Adventures adds extra context to the War For Cybertron story while telling it's own standalone tale perfectly. One of the better titles on the Wii by far.
I wholeheartedly agree. Both games are canon in my opinion.

You should really do a video on the Ds cybertron game, especially with the unique feel to it,plus it featured a lot of characters who didn't appear in the other cybertro games,like motormaster,hot shot and cyclonus
Yeah! I played that a bunch as a kid, I had the decepticon version. It was more of a brawler/beat ‘em up since it had tank controls and no free aiming.
@@Anton-de5vu I have played the games before when I was little but the ds games are a knock off since they weren't officially advertised like Lego chema it was advertised to be on the 3ds and consoles but not advertised for the ds but it was on the og ds
I loved these games as a kid! I had autobot and my best friend had decepticon. We used to play all the time. I still love the ost and the gameplay is quite solid, even today.

I actually think that Cybertron adventures is the true connection between war and fall of Cybertron instead of rise of the dark spark
@Kristopher Prime perhaps that could be trypticon's last stand when using his last bit of strength to fight off the autobots again however he eventually lost and would be torn apart as seen in fall of cybertron

@Kristopher Prime well you could say that but in WFC the player first made trypticon fall all the way to cybertron like a meteor and then the player did more damage to him and made him fall deeper and while yes he could have been defeated he still may have had some energy left and this would help to explain how the autobots managed to go from where trypticon was at the end after his fall to being in pieces woth the autobots using the parts for energy

Great work on this one and shining a light on a relatively unknown version of these games. During a tough time this was all I was able to get my kids until the proper games a few years later. And as someone with some slight hearing issues I really really appreciated the increased audio in this video, thank you
I played Cybertron Adventures before War and enjoyed it as a kid. Sure I felt a little ripped off that it wasn't really like WFC, but I remember enjoying it and if I went back to play it today I'd probably still have a decent time
This man knew I was in my transformers cybertron game phase and dropped the motherload of videos
One of the best lines from this game is megatron telling skywarp to focus on the task at hand and if starscream doesn't adjust his attitude he will surely have trypticon fire on him directly
I remember as a kid being super excited for the high moon games and thinking of the custom characters i'd make in multiplayer, but i didnt have an xbox yet and the second I picked up the game for the wii and saw the box cover was different, I was like "wtf is this?"
I remember this game; I beat it in a few hours iirc; rented transformers 3. Regret. I later got WFC and FOC and I still love them today; wish I had the pc version..

This too was my first cybertron game, then I got my xbox and then played Fall but this was my first introduction
Huh. I fogot how usally the nintendo games for Transformers take a different approach than the Xbox and PS games. Gotta give them props for trying something new.

Believe it or not this is one of my favorite games of all time. I grew up playing the Wii and by the time I played this I was not a kid so it's not a nostalgic thing. I never got to play war or fall for Cybertron as a kid so this was something that I wanted as soon as I saw it on a store shelf. I like the great writing and challenging levels it all blended together to be arguably in my top 10 favorite video games even if it's not the best game or on the best console.
Good on you for wanting to branch out, I love your Transformers content but I can only imagine how suffocating it must be to only make content about one thing

This game was personally fun for me. I do sometimes not like how underwhelming Megatron’s final level was and that we never had an Optimus vs Megatron battle on whichever campaign, but Trypticon is a stressful boss on the hardest difficulty. The timer can be very strict when each attack really can one shot you, the entire fight only has one checkpoint (at the very start of the fight) and you’re just begging for his health to go down before the timer. Sometimes the fights against the Decepticons even before Trypticon are worse since a single spray or even missile can very well one shot you and bring you all the way back to the start of that segment.
This game is alright, the lack of free movement and transformation makes things a but tedious, but it’s a fun game to come back to if you want a simple shooting challenge
I actually really really enjoyed this one as a kid. Liked the story it told, the shooting felt great and firing a barrage of missiles at a load of enemies is just chefs kiss
Had that game for my wii, absolutely loved it. It did however, make me wanna bash my head against a wall
I used to rent this game back at Blockbuster, and I never beaten the Final Boss in the Autobot Campaign.
I love the look of this game, the character designs are perfect and the animation is smooth

I remember having this wii version back in 2014 when I was 8, the only level that was very hard for me was the Trypticon level, which makes sense since it was a final boss level, also I remember while I was playing, the wii remote kept messing up my aim, due to the fact that my remote was low on battery and I had to ask my parents to get me some new batteries or I had hold my batteries in the wii remote along with some tape because for some reason I didn't have a plate to cover the batteries in the remote
I wonder where this takes place in the timeline? I mean Rise of the Darkspark is easy to identify. It's between the end of War for Cybertron and the start of Fall of Cybertron. But what about Cybertron Adventure?
i put it somewhere in between WFC Ch 8 and 9 and kinda overlapping with 10 with the trypticon fight

@@RoadRustle and i can imagine either the decepticon campaign coming first then the autobot mission next or vice versa and then either both the last autobot and decepticon mission overlapping chapter 10 together or vice versa overlapping chapter 10 together
or heck even just the each individual mission of each campaign being played back to back or vice versa depending on which ever order you go with since like you said there all coherent to each other

This game right here I’ve played so much I must have went through both sides of the campaign at least 40 times, multiple of them I cannot recall as I’ve deleted some old not very progressed saves during my time on this game, but I’ve done all difficulties and I gotta say, now trypticon is a cakewalk

I vaguely remember playing this as a kid and not really enjoying it because it wasn't like the console games, but a lot of the character interactions and story I missed when I was younger make me appreciate this game existing much more.

I had this game, got it as a birthday gift. I wasn't really into on rail shooters so i ended up selling it😭 which i would later regret i did play the ds games i thought those were really good

I never really played with any of the high moon transformers games as a kid, I always wanted too, but unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to buy a new console game for those video games, but I did watched and enjoyed gameplay videos of both war for cybertron and fall of cybertron on RUclips as a kid(aged 8 -9)
I remember renting this hoping it would be the Cybertron games oh man I was disappointed
You should review transformers decepticons as it's no joke one of the most underrated transformers games I've ever played
i used to love this game as a kid until i got stuck on a timed level that i couldn't beat so i gave up & never touched it again

This game definitely handle the characters better not saying highmoon studios did a bad job but overall they are handled better and have better chemistry and banter with each other, and it made Trypticon a lot more threatening in this game then war for Cybertron did

Cybertron Adventures was my first Transformers game I've ever played and I got that game on Christmas, along with Sonic Colors and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. While the graphics and cutscenes are impressive for the Wii and the story was well made, but I just stop playing the game during the Trypticon fight. The gameplay Cybertron Adventures isn't bad cuz of being a rail shooter, but the game just hits you with constant barrage of enemy fire, escort missions, and the good awful time limits that feels frustrating, cheap, and unfair and its drastically drags down the experience for me. Luckily, Transformers Prime: The Game is my second Transformers game I've played and man, that game is miles better than Cybertron Adventures.
Ok, now I really wanna give this game a chance!
I legit didn’t play the decepticon campaign for this when I was a kid I think BC I didn’t know they could get complex like that as a bab. Well, a kid, but that was when I was 10 so guess that makes sense when I only knew marble blast gold and maybe Minecraft.

What i dislike most about this game is mostly these things:
The plot has nothing to do with its much better PS3 and Xbox 360 version and the game is made more for kids due to its violence being toned down, when compared to WFC its more like a Saturday morning cartoon! The artstyle of cybertron adventures refelects this with its much more simplistic and cartoony design within the backgrounds and level but the characters weren't changed to fit this artstyle so they look out of place with their more gritty designs from the much more dark and dull War For Cybertron
Also, on rails shooters are boring as heck!
