11:14 - 12:40 I agree 1000% I love that interaction between the two. I love hearing Frank's Megatron actually speak with such heart and desperation towards something he's genuinely passionate about. Really makes him feel less like a "Hollywood Villain"
I didn’t think much of this game when it first came out and thought it was just button mashing. I started figuring out how to use combos and other things and my interest peaked. I still play this game like hours a day to learn combos. Trying to figure out how grimlock works and substantially figuring out to use his combos is so adrenaline inducing. Hearing grimlock yell “DINO DODGE” like a fucking dumbass as he tosses himself at Megatron makes me feel an out of body experience. I’m out here yelling to the top of my lungs “ALL ABORD THE DINO TRAIN” at 1 in the morning when you do the heavy rush attack and he just bellyflops on top of enemies.
Bro, doing a playthrough as him hurts at first but the dialogue is worth it. Best one is when he says something like "me grimlock smarter than you. No mess with plasma energy." To shockwave.
@@thesharkkiddo8703or during the prophecy in the proudstar, he says something like "Why is computer talking to Grimlock? Me Grimlock no care!" Transformers Devastation was one of the only games that made me consider Piracy and actually carry it out due to some memories of me enjoying the shit out of it, spent like 2 months playing the game on all of its difficulties, it was such a great experience it made me feel even sadder about the loss of transformers games in steam.
When I initially played this game, I remember being disappointed that it wasn't a FOC style game, but coming back to it recently and pouring some more hours into the game, I absolutely adore it. For starters, the countless amount of transformers references makes me smile, since pretty much every single weapon is a reference to something, one of my favorites being the Dark of the Moon fusion cannon variant (which I find to be superior to the regular fusion cannon). I also love the fact that the game actually rewards you for being good, like the section where Megatron is riding on Longhaul, where you're actually able to incapacitate both of them, or the scene where you're racing against Motormaster, where, through experimentation (cause I thought it was funny) I found out that you can just keep knocking him off a ledge and stalling him enough so to kill him and even get a reward. The unlockable extras are also pretty fun to find, like finding the sky spy's. It also feels rewarding to actually get SS rank, considering it gives a nice amount of powerful weapons with it. I've SS ranked the Clone battle, the Starscream and Blitzwing fight, and the Seeker trio fight on the highest difficulty, and it's incredibly satisfying.
I prefer Devastation. The Cybertron games I would enjoy if they had the color pallet of Devastation and they give you more melee weapons and give you combos. It's really Gears of War with Transformers.
Ngl man, you hit it out of the park with this one. I love your adrenaline fueled script which matches the pacing of the game itself, genuinely fantastic

This is a super cool fucking video. I'm gonna go download it and play through it fully.
Amazing job
I stayed as grim against star until I beat him, mainly because I didn’t know you could swap characters in the menu
Loved this game, but I was so bad at it
Well. I had no idea all of that happened in that game.
It was definitely made by people who love G1 Transformers.
Little details like Will Jack being able to make weapons, and mix masses on a chemicals are the small details that show that they truly understand the original.
Amazing video! I felt the adrenaline! I'm gonna go replay it!
2nd comment?
really cool video, i can see that i am way better than markscaper at this game
Edit: I like bumblebees model and Dino Grimlock looks hilarious while running
I've scene some youtubers swap devastation music with the 1986 movie soundtrack and G1 soundtrack
Underrated game. Underrated video.
We need a sequel to this so much! If we do get a sequel to Devastation, I hope we get to have a section where we play as Metroplex and we get to battle Trypticon. I also hope the other Dinobots make an appearance as well, however it’s a little far fetched
For anyone playing the game using a PS4 controller and DS4w or anything like that, I have a texmod mod on my channel that changes the XBOX buttons to PS4 ones.
Amazing video!!!!!!! This is one of my all time fav video games
still my second fave followed by war for cybertron you should do dat one is good
I already did! ruclips.net/video/MxMWKdwJcjg/видео.html
Fun fact: transformers devastation was made by the same people that made Metal gear rising: Revengeance.
