wow I've been using tons of keyframes to change colors for character customizations, this video will help lower the gameplay thermo for me! Thank You, Jimmy
Watching this one finally as I've never really messed with nodes. I'm guessing that input/output port limit is a bit larger for regular gadgets across your scene but still exists. Maybe that's why some don't have Power ports? Never understood why some gadgets would be missing a power port forcing you to open the gadget to wire into its power
Exclusive gate output is on only if *one of any inputs* is on. Calculator. Kind of self explanitory. You have a value A and value B. You can add them, multiply, subtract, divide, round... The result can be plugged into a variable to see the answer
Thanks for another super video mate! Into the docs it goes. docs.google.com/document/d/1gvFqQl84-kEIO0u3PRTXmXMQDEcnV8kCm80bLNur_7M/edit#heading=h.ml0xhz8oa8yq Regarding the port limit, I have a feeling that's only for how many of those nubs can be rendered on the sides of microchips, as opposed to nodes no longer working if you add more. That's what I guessed from the message it showed me anyway--though you may be talking about a different limit? I'm sure that "is input wired?" output used to be the number of "wires connected." I guess they must've changed that in the update. I#ll amend the docs! ^^ How did you find out about the destroyer gadget being fixed by the way? I scoured the update notes and didn't see it there. And I've been pining over this bug for a while, because I used destroyers for all sorts of weird hacks in beta.
Yes absolutely that port limit is just for the nubs and not the nodes themselves :) I hadn’t actually looked at the ‘is input wired’ output until I made this tut so I wouldn’t be able to say if it’s changed sorry :S but if it’s in your docs I’m sure that’s what it was originally haha I just gave the destroyer a shot after the update and saw it was working! Knew it was a bug previously and throughly they might have fixed it up and they had which is great. I didn’t see any comprehensive patch notes unfortunately though :/ Hope you’re goin well :)
@@JimmyJules153 Oh cool! Well, I'm glad it's working now. I wish we could have a comprehensive list of all bugs and updates included in a patch, so people who are paying attention to these things can stay up to date 😅 I'm doing okay thanks, mate. As I've been Teaching/Helping in Dreams full-time pretty much since early access, I actually launched a Patreon and Paypal donations so people can support all the different things I do if they wish--purely voluntarily of course. Got a few donations so far, which is encouraging. Hopefully by the time the savings run out I'll be able to keep going thanks to those... ^^
I thought that nodes are more complex. They had 10 pages. Turns out it's just a way to pass a sygnal

FINALLY. Thank you. Now I need to watch it

Does anyone know if you can terraform land sculpt with a car or a character with a shovel to leave definition in ground? Is this possible??
Do you know how to get button inputs to appear as text in the game? Have never been able to figure that out.
You can put in a text box ‘’ and it’ll show the x button, shows the circle button and so on :)
@@JimmyJules153 Thank God for you, sir, I've been trying to figure this out since LBP2.
And emojis can be used by placing words inbetween :

One more question, do you know how to do that with the dpad, for each individual direction?
Sorry just saw your reply now ! Hmmm I’m pretty sure all you need to do for that is just and :)
👍
can you do a tutorial on examples of using a calculator and exclusive gate
He did that
He did a logic tutorial and a calculator one
Exclusive gate output is on only if *one of any inputs* is on.
Calculator. Kind of self explanitory. You have a value A and value B. You can add them, multiply, subtract, divide, round...

I thought it didn't have many uses, but man.
woot
