I really hope they add a bunch of compacted logic.. mainly stuff like "grab and swing off ropes and stuff" (even with logic it sukks).. and most of all air,land and sea "controlinator seats" because I really miss that LBP of making a rocket car fast.. and splatting sack boy into a wall at 10000mph!! Real water would be also amazing. (More realistic waves etc).. I reckon Dreams is being made to shine the brightest on ps5.. I hope they can talk Sony into 3d printing!!!!

Example Max health: 100 Current health: 90 90÷100 = 0.9 Max Health 150 Current health 50. 50 ÷ 150 = 1/3 Aka 90 is 90% of 100 and 50 is 33.33% of 150. Do the rest as in the video Edit. 4:20 you can also make your health START at 0, use a keyframe and strech the text displayer
So I’m trying to make a stamina system and this helped a lot but if you could make a vid on stamina from movements and attacks that’d be amazing I’m having some trouble. Also I mean attacks as in “a slash attack takes away stamina and you have to wait for it to recharge.

is it just me that both of the text displayers aren't on at the same time so when I try to keyframe the green text displayed going down there is no red text displayer behind it
Hey um I am having a bit of a problem over at the lives part in the video. At 7:05 you said to jump over into test mode. I tried possessing my character like you did but it completely disappeared and no amount of undoing could take me back. Thankfully I saved my character beforehand so I am okay on that end.
Id like to make multiple bars using your variable method, id like for say energy to be depleted over time then in a certain area regenerated. Ive managed to get the energy to decrease but the re charge zone wont work. Please can someone help
I had another quick question, so if I want to make the health system like Zelda where I'd start with 3 hearts but then defeating a boss gives you a Heart Container to give you 1 more heart, or having to collect 4 heart pieces for 1 full heart? I assume I'd make a bunch of those text boxes and have them activate once you pick up a container, or once you've collected 4 pieces, using like tags or something, but the problem I see with adding health would be the animation for health going down, would you need a new key frame for each new heart added? It might all make sense once I've actually played the game, but just watching tutorials it seems complicated, normally in Zelda you'd also need to find hearts in order to heal, but I might change that for my Zelda inspired game, because that also seems like it could be tricky.
If possible, would I be able to connect the mana system to a healing mechanic? Unfortunately, if I were to experiment I would probably end up messing things up.

You sure could! sorry for the late reply. You'd have to measure the damage dealt to the enemy, then you could use a variable modifier to add an amount to the mana bar based on how much damage was done :) Hope you're well!

Amazing tutorial..thanks so much.. plz can u or anyone help.. I'm having a particular simple problem. Imagine I made a cupboard.. and on the drawers.. I have separately made real physics brass swinging handle assets.. But because the handle is connected to the root brass holding part and then thats then stuck onto the wooden drawer.. it will only imp-grab and interact with the handle physics.. and not pull the drawer out itself.. to pull the drawer out I have to grab the wood on the drawer instead to trigger the piston.. or make a non-physics 'same sculpt' type rubbish effect in comparison.. Another example. . I have turrets on a ship with a bolt..so they can swing left and right.. and the turrets have a sculpt for the barrels with a bolt so they can go up and down.. but when I rotate the turret the guns stay in the same place..!? Please please.. how do i overcome this.. in every case where power branches along twice thru objects.. it fails coz there's an intricate non-movable part (otherwise it falls off).. is there a tool that let's u connect electricity along kind of in a branch-line.. coz it's holding me back on so so many projects that otherwise are ready.. and halting collections of assets. And it's stopping me each and every time.. coz 90% of time is fiddling about going nowhere on tiny, surely easy probs like this. Thanks for reading.. ether way.
hi when the puppet respawn after it depleted throughout his HP, it automatically launches all Keyframe Skills and all UI menu that was bind on the controller. Any idea how to fix this? thank you in advance
timestamps 0:00 - 00:22 is where i use a regular skill and special skill i also dont know why my hp is also depleted when i attack, then when the puppet respawns all skills UI sound effects incoporated on the controller layout will play itself. timestamp onwards 00:22 are the settings labeled as a friend and i unchecked the friend on the collide tab aswell on the health modifier. i have this error since last two weeks and i cant figured out how to fix this or maybe should i create a respawn point area where all skills will set a default? thank you in advance Jimmyjules 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Ah ok with that setup i'd probably use a signal that pulses from your selector. So if you plug a signal manipulator set to 'pulse' into each of the selector ports that triggers an attack, then plug your signal manipulators into your stamina cost and you should be set :)
Did you already did stamina bar? For example for running and dashing. Even for hanging on cliffs etc. Oh ok finished watching the video you did lol. Thanks by the way you probably noticed but your voice vol is way too low

Variables will do that :) If you set them to 'persist in dream', it'll keep that value across scenes and even if the person leaves and comes back
