Pennsylvania Coalfields: CSX and Norfolk Southern in West Brownsville

A quick visit to the newly expanded West Brownsville interlocking and marshaling yard demonstrated just how much coal traffic has picked up along the former Monongahela Railway. A loaded CSX train bound for Newell has barely cleared the signal when a fresh cut of empty hoppers departs with a Norfolk Southern crew. Things are looking up for both the railroads and the local mines.

My how things have changed since I was last there. Looks like the interlocking is now called JIMBO. Any idea who/what that is named for?
