  • In late October, 2020, a loaded CSX coal train grinds its way slowly up the West Slope of Sandpatch Grade from Glade City to the summit of the Allegheny Mountains. Helpers are an absolute necessity as Western Pennsylvania coal makes its way to the docks at Baltimore.
