      I learn as I go, this isn't a how to channel. I realized that was 180° off and explained that at the end of the video. Did you watch it all the way through? Thanks for watching.

    @21:49 The engine is at Bottom Dead Center not Top Dead Center, the slots are offset on purpose so that this tool can ONLY find TDC. Rotate the engine 180.

    Two middle low is probably the head gasket. I've got one here with 185, 180, 175, 170. 1 month old plugs are rich, rich, lean, rich. Piston tops are dry, wet, dry, dry.
    Nothing is making sense on this one.

      I'm not very good at diagnosis, I rely primarily on luck.

    Why the engine get hot very fast can I know please mazda cx7?

      Check your coolant, if you get white smoke coming out of your exhaust you may have a bad head gasket. If you have a turbo on there that would be up against the firewall and those get extremely hot.

    It will fit but you need to go around to other side

      Are you talking about the fact I had the engine 180 degrees off. It's been a long time since I made this video if that's what you're talking about. I think I figured it out at the end of the video. Thanks for watching

    I can tell by how the timing chain slacked between cams when you turned the exhaust cam it was a tensioner/guide issue. 150 compression is acceptable, being even in center was more than likely a fluke cause you turned motor over random amounts for each check
    FIY if you have the lower crank tool installed, which is installed first followed by turning the crank against it to TDC then the cams are checked in this position, cams should not be moveable unless the tensioner is bad or in the unlocked position. You didnt actually check any timing in this video

    You need to keep turning engine

      Is that why my compression readings were all over the place.

    • @myname604
      @myname604 Год назад +1

      @@michiganmudmechanic Probably, its always best to crank it a good while, than not enough. The reading is only peak and not accumulative. You want to know peak. Also there are two compression tests, plugs in except one testing or plugs out.
      This can reveal head gaskets, valves or possible cracks. By logical deduction.

      Everything was so dirty, it ran good after I replace the valves.
