You missed the important part of the "free" test: what a BAD engine sounds like. A rotor with one blown apex seal will create one strong puff followed by exactly two extremely weak ones, then repeat.
I just bought an RX8 and it has 134k miles on it and today when I turned it on the engine felt like it was moving a little too much and I also heard air like sounds when turning it on any ideas ?
I make my own digital rotary compression tester as well that I sell on my website for 50$ each. Unlike this one it requires a laptop and my software, but it works just the same!
