I'm currently playing a celebrity chef, using the cottage living pack my sim has been using the drone to make videos of her gardening and cooking and has just opened her first restaurant with dine out. The plan is to build it up and get the well managed perk so it can operate well without her being there. Once there she will open her next restaurant and build her empire, adding some fun spots for my other sims to dine out.
It's such a great idea but keep in mind the pack is glitchy. Even if you get the well-managed perk you need to be there more often than not.. Definitely not worth the stress. In any case if you enjoy it then happy simming

You can become a celebrity through the Politician career in City Living. There's a chance card as you Play in the career to be a running mate with someone. Protesting and political speeches get you fame points.
The streaming drone is a really easy way to passively build fame as long as you use it consistently. You can stream literally anything. Turn it on at random throughout the day to become a "streaming lifestyle vlogger" and skip the video editing station altogether. Get two drones to follow different members of the household and combine that with the Networking perk to make the whole household famous for being famous without ever needing to leave the house.

Love the travel vlogger idea!! My newest idea: I saw that the original Sims had an homage to Andy Warhol so I decided to play on that and made a sim of his "daughter" Angie also being a famous painter in the city with his inheritance😩
also important about the first type, while having good media production skill helps with the quality of the video, i believe having high charisma in the first place also improves the video quality right off the bat.
I played the heck out of get famous when I first got it with just 2 sims😂 so I haven't played the pack in the longest time now. these are some awesome ideas! they make me want to play with the pack again
One that I am currently running is a model celebrity! Kinda similar to influencer really but my sim is a Style-Influencer & mostly takes pictures of himself & sells them to publications, he also does faahion vlogs at the media station. Another one I have done in the past is an athlete/fitness vlogger.. kinda Cristiano Ronaldo vibes, he films himself working out, makes lifestyle vlogs and is part of the athlete career
I know I'm late but currently I'm enjoying an "indie game developer" career, similar to the "famous writer" only here you focus on programming and use the pr skill and drones to get your fame up passively while you finish games and apps, you earn nice royalties from them too

Nothing to do with this exact video but it made me think of a Sims 4 question - What is the most lucrative career, when you factor in any Reward traits, Fame Levels, Degrees, and various other factors that impact how much your Sim gets each paycheck? (& Do some Neighbourhood Plans [or whatever they're called] impact how much you can make from certain careers?)

I made/ playing a character called donna prima. I am making her an inspiring actress who also happens to be an alien. I am very much making her a drama queen worinking towards socialite celebrity sterotype. Her roomate is a mermaid massage therapist/wellness guru but now i wish i made her a singer. Maybe i still can but still into wellness maybe see can create a life style bran in health wellness . My main character based on myself is a painter celebrity but it all happen by accident because alot of the masterpieces my character sold. I really enjoy the acting active career.

I'm attempting to turn one of my sims into a famous model, with her husband acting as her agent and photographer. However, I haven't been able to do much for her fame outside of the Style Influencer career, and the husband somehow got to one-star through a random event in the business career. I need her to be more famous than him but it's been really tedious. Anyone have any tips? Update: Realized the photography career is under freelancer. Husband Darien is now a freelance photographer. Still looking to figure out how to get Darien and Wife Arielle famous together.
Makeovers from the style influencer career can give some fame. I would look at streaming with a drone and making style videos with the video station to start, and then to get to the 5 star celeb rank. I would get a good reputation, pick up the giving back perk at level 3 (B-list celeb) and donate objects to go to 4 and then 5.
If your sims parents are famous you could also have a sun be a nepotism baby and get famous from spending their parents money, social media and being seen places idk how great that works though I haven’t tried it out yet
You can literally become an Onlyfans creator in sims All you gotta do take half naked selfies, sell them for fame and money, gain followers, create video content at the video creator and stream EA there is your new Kit 😂

I don't think you gain fame from using any of the sales tables. Most of the fame gaining in Jungle Adventure is related to the archeology skill.

I think if you complete the World-famous Celebrity aspiration, you get the "unstoppable fame" reward trait.
Hold in shift key while pressing on your Sim. It'll open a bunch of cheats, you'll see an option to freeze fame there
Mid-TIER is pronounced "TEER", just like the water in your eyes when you cry. Not "TIRE", like what's on the wheel of a car.
