Great song! Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer songwriter from the 80's-90's. He is known for his ballads & he has a unique raspy voice. Bryan has had so many hits such as "Summer Of '69", "Cuts Like A Knife", "Straight From The Heart", "Everything I Do", "Run To You", "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?", "Can't Stop This Thing We Started", "Thought I'd Died & Gone To Heaven", "Please Forgive Me", "All For Love" etc. He has won a lot of awards for his music.
This is the list, I was going to post the same thing. No reason to do it twice. My favorite is everything I do I do for you. Been divorced for 19 years and that one still gets me every single time. Sometimes everything isn't enough. He definitely has a great raspy ballad voice. One of my favorites.
Bryan Adams is 64 yrs old and still records & tours, even though he's not the superstar he once was in the 80's and 90's... I saw him live co-headline w/ Def Leppard in 2005... In fact, he's touring the UK in May/ June 2024
Hahahahahahaha..."I scream like a fangirl". We all scream like a fangirl in the 80a and 90s for him too. It's just your time now. Nothing really beat the 80s when comes to great music. It's why I love Gigi de Lana from the Philippines so much today. She takes us back to the 80s with her golden tone and super model looks.
I was a teenager all through the 80s (born in 1970) and Bryan Adams was the slow dance king! For those of us whom fast dancing made us too self conscious, Bryan, Chicago, Journey, or a slow Foreigner song would come to the rescue, so we could ask a girl at the all night skate (skating rinks would, on holiday weekends stay open all night Friday night and the skating would stop at 10 pm and turn into a dance all night. Parents would drop their teens off at 7pm after dinner and pick them up the next morning for breakfast. Bryan was in the top 10 of most top ten hits through the 80s.
The guitarist is Keith Scott, who is one of the most under rated players of all time. The album was produced by Mutt Lange, who also produced Def Leopard, Foreigner, AC/DC, and Shania Twain who he was once married to. Mutt is known for his usage of heavy drumming in a 4/4 tempo. Here is a drum cam video of Twain's best drummer she ever had.(2015-2022) Perfect power pocket drumming with impeccable skills. Elia Wood was voted pop/country drummer of the yr in 2023, yet E is actually a prog rock drummer, who loved putting her spin on Twain's 4/4 stuff. It's worth making a dive into her videos. From a talented musical family. The composing/arrangement element she grew up around is evident in her playing. ruclips.net/video/IBsoJqN90p8/видео.html
Written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Originally released in 1983. Released again, in 1984, on the album Reckless. 40 years. This song and the original version of Obsession were the highlights of the B movie A Night in Heaven. 2 years before this was released, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance wrote Stay for fellow Canadian band Prism. That song led to Heaven. Same key! True story. Mickey Curry, who left Hall and Oates to join BA, could not make the recording session due to a prior contract requiring him to play for another musician. Steve Smith , then of Journey, came into play. Compare this to the song Faithfully, which Journey played. Very similar! And BA was the opening act for Journey that year! Engineer Bob Clearmountain worked with BA in 1983 for the album Cuts Like a Knife and with the late David Bowie, RIP, for Let's Dance. Rob Sabino played keyboards for him. RS and BC worked on this song and. Now RS is a lecturer in music at UC Davis. In an interview, BA wanted Nile Rodgers, who co produced Let's Dance, to produce Reckless. Listen to the Apple podcast for details. There are really 2 eras for Bryan Adams: up to 1991 and 1991 onward. Mutt Lange changed everything in 1991 for BA. Suggested videos: 1 Bryan Adams sings Summer of 69. 2 Journey performs Faithfully.
I love Bryan Adams. Saw him live in Barcelona in '88, he was mostly unknown and there weren't many people at the concert. Some of my friends even walked right to the edge of the stage and shook his hand. It was the Into the Fire tour. Take a listen to Reckless, an amazing album.
These are late 70s but I think you would like them. My 3 fave Jefferson Starship songs, Miracles, Count on Me, With Your Love. These are all Marty Balin on lead vocal. He actually started the group. Grace came later with trouble.
Every song from the Bryan Adams album 'Reckless'. They're all fantastic, and include lots of hits. I consider it one of, and perhaps the best pure rock album ever recorded. Check all the songs out, and hopefully react to some of them. Have a nice day😊
Hi Millie! I love your channel, but I haven’t been a huge fan of the twitch reacts where you end up talking over the majority of the song. Hopefully we see more of your regular reactions where you pause when you have something to share.
Millie I dedicate you all the most beautiful songs and every one of them with my wish for you to have good life, happy memories and strength to carry on 🤗
Hi from Sheffield Yorkshire England YES you are bang on it was 1984 your good at spoting songs decades if it was appropriate i would dedicate this to you❤❤
Hi Millie,i recommend you some power ballads: -Do I Have To Say The Words?(Bryan Adams) -Looking For Love(Whitesnake) -What It Takes(Aerosmith) -I Want To Know What Love Is(Foreigner) -Lorelei(Scorpions) -It's All About Lovin' You(Bon Jovi) -Love Bites(Def Leppard) -Forever(Kiss) -I'll Cry For You(Europe)
American rock and pop music in the 80s was very popular in Japan! Was the 80s the time when rock music was at its most popular in the US? I really liked your reaction video. I'd love to see your reaction video to a REO Speedwagon song.😊 From Tokyo, Japan.
Millie, I started listening to Bryan in 1983 and of course he blew up so big that I got kind of tired of listening to him, but I still bought his albums and listened. 😂 Then Bryan released the album 18 Til I Die in 1996 and it was a little more rockin’ with some excellent fun songs, “The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You”, and “I Want to Be Your Underwear”, 😂. The height of Bryan’s “celebrity” had passed, but not Bryan’s abilities as a musician and songwriter. Then in 1998 Bryan released the album On A Day Like Today. On this album was the song “Where Angels Fear To Tread”. I personally believe that this is Bryan’s BEST BALLAD EVER! I don’t care if you do a channel reaction to it, but please just listen to and enjoy a MASTERPIECE written by Bryan Adams and Gretchen Peters. “Where Angels Fear To Tread” ruclips.net/video/HKL2vJ7Kf94/видео.htmlsi=JoyDwFWQMVD8RXj7
It is funny you say he looks like the kid from Back to the Future. They're both Canadians from the 1980s LOL. BTW if you like Michael J Fox, you need to see some of his other films like Teen Wolf, which in my opinion has a stronger 80s vibe and more music than most films from that era, and I know that's something you are into.
@@Samuel-c2w1j well read thru the comments. Most of them agree with me. A good reactor will pause the song about halfway thru and give their assessment then let the song finish and finish their reaction after the song is over. 1.NEVER talk over the song. 2.NEVER pause it during a great lead guitar solo. Those are rules most reactors just automatically follow. To much pausing and especially talking over the song will cause less people to subscribe to the channel. Isn’t the whole point to get subscribers? Just saying. They are reacting and giving their opinion of the song, movie, or whatever. Well we as subscribers are also giving our honest reaction to their reaction.
@@wildboy365 I agree that this may be true especially when it comes to a band and a song which is significant to you. But I still have to say (though I might be in the minority) that I love Millie's chatty way of reacting. Her enchanting personality shines through more vibrantly this way.
RUclips will probably take the video down... (copyright crap) if you spell his name correct in the title they'll find it... they do Garth Brooks music the same way.... all of Bryan's music is good...
Wtf, be QUIET, if you can learn to enjoy whats be played and stop giving a commentary literally every second I may come back. You ruined what I grew up on, yes the 80's fcuking rocked. Oh and funny thing is Bryan Adams and Michael J Fox (back to the future guy) were from roughly the same neck of the woods for awhile, Vancouver BC Canada.

Probably the BEST voice you will ever hear; cannot be replaced, it's that good!!!
Bryan Adams is super nostalgic for me. He still stays on tour a lot all over the world! I should go see him sometime!
Run to You, Summer of 69, One Night Love Affair , all from 84, like Heaven, great guitar playing in all of them.
Summer of '69, and Cuts like a Knife! Both bangers!

Bryan has a huge library of hits. Maybe the biggest artist in Canadian music history.
sadly, i think the bieb is bigger purely on numbers....only on numbers of course....
I grew up in the 80's so I pretty much know all the 80's songs
If you watch, the Summer of 69, the woman that shows up at the concert, is his girl friend in the video from years earlier.
This lady will talk at her own celebration of life
That's her job and she's doing FANTASTIC at it! ☺❤

Bryan Adams - Summer Of '69 (Official Music Video) ,,, HIS BIGGEST HIT ,,, ITS A CLASSIC !!! CRACK ON GIRL ...

The 80's were awesome!
This was 1984, but why go back in time he still touring full time all over the world each and every year. Over 40 years on the road!
If you liked this one, then you’ll love Everything I Do (I Do It For You)
Great reaction.
If you think this is a good "love song ", listen to his song "Everything I Do". Best love song ever!
+1
He did a brilliant duo with sporty spice Melanie C when your gone
great reaction! - fun fact - Bryan Adams co-wrote two songs on KISS' album Creatures Of The Night - "Rock And Roll Hell" and War Machine"
He also wrote Back where you Started, recorded by Tina Turner.
"Do you really want to hurt me" by Culture Club. Cool song, but the bass line is FABULOUS!
Look for the YT video of Bryan doing this song on Unplugged. Friggin' awesome! Dedicated to Millie.
HI MILLIE ! I WANNA DEDICATE THIS ONE TO YOU ! I KNOW YOU'LL LOVE IT ... Bryan Adams - Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman? (Classic Version)

His best song I think! Glad you loved it so much.
She wouldn’t shut up long enough to listen to it.
"Run to You" is really good too. And "Summer of 69". Not ballads though. All from same album as Heaven.
How can we not dedicate it to you, consider it done :D , Thanks for all your reactions and all the incredible music appreciation that you have
I think you would love "Summer of 69" by him as well!!
Summer of 69 is his most well known one, also a fantastic song but check out Please Forgive Me too
How about "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News. See if you can remember Huey's small part from "Back to the Future".
Wow! Brings back memories
please react to Anathema - (Flying) and also (Untouchable Parts 1 and 2) [Live in Plovdiv Bulgaria 2012]
I love the song “One Last Goodbye” by Anathema.
Richard Marx had some great ballads. "Right Here Waiting" and "Hold On To The Nights" are beautiful
Ahhh, my youth, girls, beer..and..🇸🇪

Tá falando em cima da musica toda.
