This kid is an old soul! ‘No phone’ …yes that’s right ! Just present in the moment! Yeah those were the days! Thank you for doing this video! Emotional !
80's and 90's you could walk into any party, jump into any car, kiss any girl, wear anything, go anywhere and leave your door unlocked without a care! It was awesome!
I am 71 and I lived these great songs. Bryan Adams wrote some of the best love songs ever. You can tell he knows a woman’s love and how to say it back to her. ❤ Love your reactions.
@@rockero1313 Journey was featuring the songs from the Frontiers album (just after Escape) and Bryan Adams Cut Like a Knife. Wish everyone could've been there. At least we have RUclips videos.
Love the comment not a single phone, we didn't have phones and I'm thankful. Such great music back then. From Massachusetts and remember hearing Aerosmith playing at the Westboro Speedway from my house Aerosmith was from Mass and this was before they became big. Saw Bob Seger, Springsteen, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Tom Petty, ZZ Top, Allman Brothers, Outlaws (sweatbox Cap Cod Coliseum), Bryan Adams, Jimmy Buffett, and so much more. Don't like being older but wouldn't trade it for anything.
U bet we did! 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and small portion of 90’s music was the soundtrack of our lives! Bryan exploded onto the scene in the 80’s and I had the biggest crush on him! He’s a phenomenal guitar player too! 😎✌🏻
I worked in a little movie theater in Edmond Oklhaoma, US. I would wait till the end of this movie and go clean up that theater, just to hear this song, all by myself!!! !Bryan Adams is oooooo underrated!!!!!
I’m one of those old guys 😊 who was in my early twenties in the eighties and got to witness all these great bands during that time. If you ever find that time machine to back and see these bands live, take me with you 😊 You seem like you’d enjoy it as much as I did and you’d be so much fun! Keep up the good work. ✌️
🇨🇦I saw Bryan Adam’s in concert in my hometown last year and his vocals were incredible! Great reaction ❤ Must watch “All for love” Bryan Adams, Sting and Rod Stewart.
That was a magical point in time for everyone there. The 60s thru the 80s were a great time to live. The bands had real talent and played their hearts out night after night. Bands these days are nowhere near the caliber of musicians from the 60a thru the 80s. That is just a fact so don't get mad I said that its the honest truth. I was there for all of it. I am glad you have an understanding of how great those times were musically. Glad you enjoyed it.
I saw Bryan when he opened for Journey in 1983 on his "Cuts Like A Knife" tour. His videos were playing on MTV in regular rotation, I had that album as well.
There is a video of Bryan performing "Heaven" at this same concert and for the first minute of the song the audience serenades Bryan and His band. It is epic.
This brings back some memories. Saw a lot of young teen couples dance to this at the youth disco when I was a DJ there. Another popular one here at the time was Fading like a flower by Roxette
Went to a Bryan Sdams concert in Vienna some 10 years ago: he performed 2 hours, had fun and the crowd knew all the lyrics of the songs (including me, even though I was not a hardcore fan). But he had so many hits and I just happened to know all the lyrics (for whatever reason). It was a great evening. Bryan Adams is an underrated artist.
I had the privilege of going to see Bryan in concert last summer and experiencing this song live & all his other hits was the ultimately emotional experience❣️😌😍🥰
Millie, please search Bryan Adams tour dates. He’s in Europe most of the year. I saw him recently in Phoenix Arizona, and he still sounds and performs the same. Believe me he is amazing. Best show ever. I saw several dates in Spain this year. Find a way to make it happen. I love seeing you on RUclips, you are special ❤
Bryan Adams was at the peak of his success with this song “Everything I Do, I Do it For You “. From the Kevin Costner movie soundtrack Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. The song is probably the best thing about the movie. Costner was a serious mis-cast. Bryan was one of those artists from the 1980’s whose music had a real rock 🪨 feel. But when the Grunge music scene began in the early nineties with bands like Pearl Jam, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, and of cause Nirvana. He wasn’t getting heard on radio. And in those days radio was king, if you didn’t get radio play. You didn’t get heard. So he went to the next big thing, movie soundtracks. Everyone used to go to movies back in those days. Even line up to see the latest blockbuster movie from Hollywood at their local multiplex cinema 🎦. So movie soundtracks became famous and Bryan Adams was able to have another mega hit with this song.
"Run to You" (my favorite) "This Time" "It's Only Love" with Tina Turner "Have you ever Really Loved a Woman" (my favorite ballad) "Do I have to Say the Word"
Saw Bryan Adams in 1986 in Philly & it was a last minute decision that i was really glad I took! Great concert, alot of fun back then. Different vibe then today's shows.
He has a large catalogue. Was a big star back in the day. He's a Canadian and we love him in Canada.Summer of 69, The First Cut is The Deepest, Have You Ever Loved a Woman to name just a few.
Little lady holding a torch phone is a hell of a lot easier than holding a lighter those little bastards got hot burning your thumb LOL this was our prom song in High School
Back then, there were no cell phones to distract anybody. I grew up through the late '60s, and life was just so much simpler because we didn't have video games or phones. When we went outside, we had to think or find things to do to have fun with our friends, and when we had our fights, we had to do it face to face.
This is TEH ballad song everyone was dancing slow dance with their wanted to be love in schools back in the day. I remember those times looking for currage to ask the girl you liked for a slow dance. Great times. You were hoping for that if your charm could not do anything, maybe the Song could boost it abit hahah.
Bryan Adams helped write and I pretty sure helped produce the 1985 Canadian African famine relief song. It's called Tears are not enough and the Canadian Super star vocalist of the time period called themselves Northern Lights. Hope you check this one out. You'd be Silly not to, lol

Nice. i am Dire straits fan but i higly recommend Uriah Heep - Sunrise, Why ( extended ) , Look at yourself or Easy livin. Great vocal, bass, drums. But version from 70 or new era with other vocal

The thing us older folks are jealous of is we cant go back and hear theses songs for the first time again. Enjoy it because we grew up on this music so its part of our soul but the first time rings different.
Great reaction. Beautiful lady you are btw. Other songs are Cuts Like A Knife and The Best Was Yet To Come that I recommend you reacting to also. Thanks
If you want to see the movie this song was written for then Watch "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves". This concert was back before everyone had cellphones. Back before cellphones, people used to hold up lighters.
Try “Summer if 69”, “Can’t Stop This Thing We Started”, “Cuts Like A Knife” and “The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You”, and maybe “Diana” which was written about Princess Diana.
I’m really gonna make you jealous now I saw Bryan Adams opening up for journey here in New Orleans. It’s called the dead rock ‘n’ roll Bryan Adams, lover boy, Hometown band called zebra, and then journey finish tonight.
Now, they won't let you in the venue with a lighter, and most of the audience is experiencing the concert through their phone screens. It used to be when we went to see the band it was about being in the moment and living the experience.
