There is also another live version of this where the entire crowd is singing, so Bryan let's them take over, and he is just in awe of the moment. It's amazing!
@richsalm7474 that's the one. Thanks, I couldn't remember the venue. The video gives me goosebumps. I can't even imagine how it must have been for Bryan
This performance is, in my opinion, Bryan's crowning achievement. It's flawless and utterly perfect. Glad you guys enjoyed it so much. Thanks for all the great reaction videos, keep up the good work ♥
Bryan Adams is a rabbit hole.. "Summer of 69", "Run to You", "Heaven", "It`s only Love", "Heat of the Night", "Straight from the Heart", "There will never be another Tonight", "Cuts like a Knife", "One Night Llve Affair", "Somebody", "Hearts on Fire", "Everything I do..", "Can`t stop this thing we started.." .. just to name a few... This man is Hit Machine !!!!
Not sure a song can get more beautiful than that. Heaven has always been my favorite song. Was my prom and wedding song but this version shows the immense talent Bryan has. I doubt there is too many performers who could pull off an acoustic version like that - just flawless. As for his library, it is immense. I am sure you know Summer of ‘69. Besides that Straight from the Heart, Cuts Like A Knife, Run to You, Somebody, All for One (with Sting and Rod Stewart), It’s Only Love (with Tina Turner), Please Forgive Me, Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman all charted very high on the radio. Such a library to choose from. Enjoy going down the Bryan Adams rabbit hole. Thanks for this reaction!
Saw this masterpiece in concert, and EVERYBODY had their lighters/cellphone lights raised and singing along. Best part was the screen behind him showed couples and encouraging a kiss cam. It was simply beautiful
1984 concert at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago were Bryan Adams opening for Journey. My two favorite bands in one concert. I still remember it as it was yesterday. Keep up the good work guys, you two are awesome!
My boyfriend and I used to dance to this song. That was 40 years ago and it seems like yesterday. No, I didn't end up marrying him although he did ask. But I have been married now for 33 years and I still miss those days....young, wild and free.
I luv Bryan's earlier stuff then his later songs. Still a great CDN Artist. Saw Bryan in 1982 when he opened for a little band called Journey. Amazing!!
Thanks again for playing Brian Adams,🇨🇦 singing 'Heaven' and request 'All for One' with Rod Stewart and Sting, trio. I first saw Brian live in 1984 singing'Cut's like a Knife' No1 hit, same concert as Sting's band Police, last concert.Thanks. D from Australia 🇦🇺
to this day, one of my top 5 songs all-time. I had tix to see him a few months back and the show was cancelled unfortunately, so I'll need to hope he comes back.
The Bryan Adams rabbit hole is tremendous. The albums YOU WANT IT, YOU GOT IT, CUTS LIKE A KNIFE, and RECKLESS are still full listening from start to finish. Fits Ya Good, Straight from the Heart and Summer of '69 are excellent choices. He had three Airplay chart #1s. All for Love, a collaboration with Rod Stewart and Sting, is the only one that you haven't featured on your channel.
You don’t often hear Bryan’s voice described as beautiful. I’m a big fan and always thought of his voice as made for rock n roll, kinda like Geddy Lee or Axel Rose. Then after seeing him perform exclusively in sports arenas, I got to see him in a proper concert hall (Ottawa’s National Arts Center). It was him, his guitar, and his longtime collaborator, Jim Vallance on piano. Heaven was the last song on the program. He sang it a capella and it was a revelation. It’s the first time I really, I mean REALLY, heard what a truly beautiful voice he has. The man isn’t just a balls-out rocker, he’s a superbly talented vocalist. So if you ever get a chance to hear him unplugged in a smaller venue with great acoustics, do it. I promise you won’t regret it.
The 'flute' is actually played on 'uilleann pipes' by Davy Spillane, who is perhaps better known for his work with the original Riverdance music, and is a fantastic addition here.
I beg to differ with you sir. That was not uileann pipes. What I saw and heard played was the Irish Whistle. In fact it looked to me like a whistle made by Colin Goldie. The pipes sound totally different from what was being played in this video.
My all time favorite song from Bryan, simply one of the best love songs ever and this performance is truly a masterpiece. Ever since this performance he plays this song live as a mixture of the more original version and this version, which is also truly amazing. Maybe you should try that one out as well, an amazing version of this would be for instance his 2005 performance here in Lisbon, which is always for him anyway because he loves Lisbon, he actually lived here nearby in Cascais for a while when he was a child 🫶🏻
Great job with your reaction and thoughts on this song and video for Heaven from Bryan Adams . It's a great song from him just like Everything I do I do It For You . Is his must iconic song . These are ones you dedicate to someone who you love and do everything for that special person in your life talking man or woman in a relationship.
Saw BA this past Summer and he still sounds fantastic... his long-time guitar player, Keith Scott is very underrated... this whole live show is great and BA also does an acoustic set of different songs as part of his regular live shows... you don't have to be a big BA fan to enjoy his shows, just a music fan.. good stuff...
Bryan Adams is one of my favorites and we also happen to share a birthday. rYou should do Summer of 69, can't stop this thing we started, ( Bryan Adams) All for Love ( Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, & Sting )
Wow, there are so many ways you can go with Bryan Adams he’s one of my favorite artist ever. I’m not sure what the other one is that you did but here’s a good list. Cuts like a knife Can’t stop this thing we started Run to you Take me back Do I have to say the words? Somebody Please forgive me Have you ever really loved the woman?
This song was from a soundtrack called a Night In Heaven it was a movie made in 1985. Staring actress Leslie Ann Warren and actor Christopher Akans from the Blue Lagoon staring Brook Shields. The song was a hit for Brian on the charts 2 weeks at num 1 a song a num 1 for 2 or 3 week's was major back in the 80's but the movie didn't fare that well .
Brian started with more of a rock n roll sound: "Run To You", "Summer Of 69", "Cuts Like A Knife". - I like artists that have varying styles in their songs. Rock out in one, and then strip it down to a beautiful ballad. I think that "flute" is an Irish Tin Whistle (or "Pennywhistle") - sounds like what was used in the Titantic song "My Heart Will Go On".
I never appreciated Bryan Adams in the 80s because I was too busy listening to zeppelin and Floyd but I got to appreciate him a little bit later. It takes me a good five years or so before I get into newer music so maybe I’ll like Taylor Swift. in about 10 years😉
I'm an older viewer (51). This is a sweet awkward story. This was the theme of my 8th Grade Graduation Dance in 1987. "Heaven." The 80s were a strange time--hahaha. Anyway, I had my first kiss dancing to this song with the first girl that I ever asked out. Dawww!! Everyone has to start somewhere--hahaha....
Bryan Adam’s is two years older than me. I love all his songs especially Summer of ‘69. But the math used to drive me crazy. Was Bryan really in a band as a 10-year-old? No. So I chalked it up to some kind of lyrical poetic license. Besides he couldn’t be in HS at 10. Finally after vigorous lyrical study and comprehension I concluded he began playing guitar at 10 and formed a band in HS. Great. Perfect. Rock on. It wasn’t until my sixties that I learned what it really meant. Sheepishly I admit to never having a Summer of 69. Thanks for the memories Bryan. Great job B & B. Love you both.
Dan Fogelberg LONGER. Known as the word man because of all the great songs he wrote for himself and other. His voice will give you goosebumps. You will love him.
There is also another live version of this where the entire crowd is singing, so Bryan let's them take over, and he is just in awe of the moment. It's amazing!
That would be the Live At Wembly from 1996 version. That would be the definative version.
@@richsalm7474 Agreed... that's THE version, IMHO.
@richsalm7474 that's the one. Thanks, I couldn't remember the venue. The video gives me goosebumps. I can't even imagine how it must have been for Bryan
Who goes to a concert to hear the crowd sing?
This performance is, in my opinion, Bryan's crowning achievement. It's flawless and utterly perfect. Glad you guys enjoyed it so much. Thanks for all the great reaction videos, keep up the good work ♥
I still love Straight from the Heart. Bryan Adam is a treasure.
agreed one of my favorites
I do

Early Bryan Adams is where IT'S AT! CUTS LIKE A KNIFE is a MUST!
Finally someone who sees eye to eye with me. Cuts Like A Knife is a Masterpiece because every single song is fantastic.
He’s amazing live. And he has such an incredible voice. I fell in love with his voice since I was 14 and still love it. He has such a gift.
Bryan Adams :
“Have You Ever Loved A Woman?!”
very romantic!
Bryan Adams is on my very short list of favorite artists. I saw him on the Reckless and Into the Night tours of the 80's. Just Awesome!!!
Not sure a song can get more beautiful than that. Heaven has always been my favorite song. Was my prom and wedding song but this version shows the immense talent Bryan has. When I saw this performance back then it almost brought a tear to my eye, so many great memories of the 80’s, the best times of my 62 years.

You SAID what I was thinking :-D
I seen Bryan Adam's in the early ninties in Vancouver BC at the old coliseum. He blew the top of that place he just rocked it.
I just saw him in concert a few months ago he still puts on an amazing show.
Such an amazing performer. Thank you for sharing your reaction ❤
His voice is Flawless, not many singers can sing the same way live…

Fantastic Song from a Great Canadian artist. Saw him 3 times live here in Canada 🇨🇦 He can Rock 👍
Brian did a collaboration with Tina Turner called “it’s only love” the chemistry between him and Tina is crazy.
to this day, one of my top 5 songs all-time. I had tix to see him a few months back and the show was cancelled unfortunately, so I'll need to hope he comes back.
Saw Bryan Adams live just a few weeks ago and he did this without the band. Perfection!
thats how you sing a song....just come from your heart.....so much emotion
Oh yay!!! This was my request!!! ❤❤❤

That’s just the beginning. Look at the list of superstars he’s written songs for including KISS!
@@mikecoughlin4128I got you. He and Jim Valance were quite a prolific songwriting duo.
absolutly beautifull voice , incredible
Phil, your Mom has great taste❣️ I've enjoyed Bryan's music through the years, too❣️

Very good y'all! I think the first song I ever heard by him was ''Cuts Like A Knife'' 🤔 A must listen, btw!
Brilliant song
Irish Whistle (the instrument used in Celine Dion's "The Heart Will Go On".
Beautiful performance. Captivating.
The live version from Wembley is SO much better. The audience is great in that one.
Pretty good acoustic sound in that.. building(?)🤔 Great song, great performance!
my personal favorite of his!
To sound that good live wow.
I would give anything to have a voice like his.
His parents both from England emigrated to Canada. Glad they did.

Bryan Adams is one of the minority of artists who can equal the studio/album performance in a live setting. He's also perpetually 35ish.

Summer of 69 he said was completely about sex. True story
Don't think he said it was autobiographical lol
@@catherineday951 true. LOL! Never occurred to me that the names of the friends in the band could be made up. I’m think as a brick I suppose.
Do summer of 69 live.thats the best live ever performed by him.
Some artists dont have to yell in order to sing well, that's Brian Adams if he just mumbled something he will sounds good.
Have you done Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting dinging "All For One" yet. It's great!
