So on the 20th of July 2023, the second wave of Barbie the Movie dolls were out for purchase.
The skater dolls, the jumper suite during the presidential election and the cowboy Ken were available and almost all sold out when I arrived at Toys r us, Sunway Pyramid, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Priced at MYR159.90, I got the Skater Barbie and Ken. What are your thoughts about this doll? I'd like to hear it from you.

Right?!? That’s exciting that we can get the dolls in the US for $24.99.
Yes it should be more affordable in the US. For us, it's due to the import tax and shipping cost

@@michellegore update! They surprise dropped LAST NIGHT!!! Barbie sold out on Walmart but may show up on Target/Amazon soon! Ken is still up on Walmart so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

We have the skater Barbie and Ken, gingham Barbie, surfing Ken, President Barbie, and the pink pantsuit Barbie. We're having a lot of fun collecting them. We're not taking them out of the boxes. These skates are much better than the ones from the past that were hard to remove lol.

Nice, I think this Barbie looks more like Margot than the gingham basic one. The Ken hair is cut bad but I like his outfit. I think Ken's pink shirt is very vibrant. I wish the outfits from the movie were all sold separately so I could add them to my collection.
Initially, I didn't wana take the Ken, as somehow he didn't quite appeal to me, but once I brought him back, he's even better than I thought in the store. Ken and Barbie somehow looks better in a pair in this outfit.
I definitely need these roller skate dolls when they reach the USA!

Thanks for another great video! I’m especially happy to see you review these rollerblading dolls since they were just released. They’re very cute and I love how they match, just like in the movie. However, I am disappointed that Margot Barbie’s feet are flat and that her face/jaw seems more square shaped. Looking forward to seeing you review more Barbie merchandise and other dolls ❤️

It's different from the pink Gingham dress Margot Robbie Doll. The chiseled jaw makes her features a bit squarish. Maybe it's just my doll.....

Wow, I knew these were coming out but didn't know when. They look great together. I can't believe her outfit is two pieces. It seems like they gave this doll a bigger head like many of the playline Barbies have, like how there is a bigger and smaller version of the Millie sculpt and a few other faces. I wonder if they plan on using Margot's likeness in more playline dolls besides the movie ones.
Yeah I was surprised too. My eyesight aren't the greatest, I tot I saw double fabric, so I had to too at the camera screen to get a better look. Lolll... I'm equally surprise the dolls are out in store over here. No complaints though

They're sold out so fast over here. It's unbelievable. They're not restocked at the moment, so, lots of collectors in Malaysia are also waiting and hunting for these cuties.

OMG! I cannot wait to pick these up! Ah! Ken is my favorite! Loved the movie. Going to see it again. They should have given Barbie a fisted hand 🤛 for the punch she landed in the movie. Ah! Yeah I'm running out of budget too but I do know the sculpers will buy them all and resell for a throat cutting price. I do hope they'll restock this weekend

I got the Western Ken for my Western Barbie - might have liked to get Barbie and Ken in Skates but there was only Ken at the TRU 1U. Sadly they're all now sold out and am a bit annoyed people are reselling the new dolls at Carousell. Hopefully they show up on TRU/Lazada/Shopee soon :(

@@ArtieArdee there are so many scalpers now I was scared that if I get Ken, might not be able to get Barbie :( not having a matched set would annoy me so much. Anyway getting Western Barbie was good luck already so cannot complain.

I’m so excited 4 this Ken! These dolls look AMAZING since, imo, they look better than the first movie dolls but r still cheap.
I may B lucky the first wave is over cuz every1 probably got a movie doll already.
I wonder if the pink gingham barbie (from the beginning of the movie) has her feet on her toes, and then all the subsequent barbies, like this rollerblading one, have flat feet? and if so, nice nice attention to detail, Mattel, to match the narrative of the movie. so...gingham and disco should be pointed, then I think blue striped barbie doll should be flat? then rollerblading definitely flat. and then pink jumpsuit flat.
It's a cute detail, following the narrative of the movie. For those who wants to get only the Rollerblade Barbie and still want the option of arched heel, perhaps by swapping the body to MTM ones would do the trick. Thank you for dropping by ❤️❤️❤️
