The placing method for the rhinestones was so unhinged and I highly sympathize with the level of obsessiveness. Sewing through worbla?? I got carpal tunnel just looking at it. Your hand stitching is absolutely perfect, and so is this doll.
Love the alpaca hair. You did such an amazing job color matching. Also her face was mind blowing. You recrated her beautifully with just pencils. This was so amazing to watch. I love how you made all her clothes, and hand sewing too. I can use a machine, and spend far to much time hand sewing. If you dont get a needle in your skin you aint doing it enough XD I always bite or snip that bit off though cause if I dont I 100% get that same spot a few times.
It's all about the details. She is stunning! And yes, I've sewn my fingers before. What happened to your finger is exactly what thimbles are for. When you've got a hard cap to push against you can push through much stronger material
I don't really like thimbles on my fingers they make me feel uncomfortable tbh
