Special thanks to Tyler for tolerating me covering every square inch of our house in Dreamhouses 🏠 and my assistants Peyton and Anna for helping me build all 15+ of them lol
I had the 2006 one. My sister had her own too. I remember our dad worked really hard to get us them for Christmas that year. He was raising us alone, and he always tried to get us the best toys he could. Seeing the dream house again made me get that bittersweet nostalgia.
You missed something on the 2018 1. You can put the grass on the roof and you can put the pool on the roof while not on the roof in that little Lake holy air area. The householder holds and you put the girl on
I never had an actual Barbie Dream House, but my parents built a house for me for my birthday. It was truly amazing, with two stories and 4 huge rooms!! I still have it almost 40 years later. I had a Barbie Christmas a few weeks later, when I got the pool, the cool shower with the bubble bath, a flushing toilet, and the Barbie Ferrari!
Maybe you should give those Barbie houses to your subscribers That should be a great idea but I Skype you it’s just I have a doll house so you don’t need to get one for me😊
I had the one from 1962, I was 4. My father spent Christmas Eve lovingly puting all the cardboard furniture together so it would be complete on Christmas morning. My parents said that I was mesmerized by it and spent hours playing with it. When the newer houses came out I was not interested in them at all. I played with this house until I was about 10. I still have my original house that has gone through both of my daughters now 40 & 42 and now my granddaughter who 5 is just starting to playing with it. The only thing missing from my house is one of the cardboard record albums. Not bad for a toy under $5!
My mother owned the 1979 dream house and created a Christmas Party scene every year where the current Holiday Barbie year hosted. It was an entire scene with two Barbie cars, a horse-drawn sleigh, a butler accepting invitations, and a few side scenes. She had also hand-made some of the furniture, as well as put pink and white lights throughout the house and white felt on the roofs to make it appear as if it had snowed. It was always so cool to see how it changed over the years.
Dear God, my sister and I had the 1979 Dream House and I had no idea it was *that* expensive. Man, we were spoiled! 😂 Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for buying it and thanks Mom and Dad for putting it together--we had years and years of fun playing with it. ❤
‼️❓Wait wasn't there a Barbie dream House with working lights and stuff that's the one I had and I didn't see it even mentioned in this video! I definitely think it's a 90s one. But yeah it had working lights and I think a working doorbell and a lot of other stuff 🥺
My sister and I never got any Barbie dream houses, but we did (and still) have the 1991 Playskool Grand Victorian Dollhouse. We have about every accessory it came with, too. It’s in immaculate condition considering we played with it everyday for years. All of the pieces that were battery operated still work.

I'm 35. Never had a barbie dreamhouse as a kid unfortunately, but I did spend a lot of time building my own out of cardboard. Resembled the very first barbie house!!! Which I find pretty cool 😅. I spent so much time building furniture, accessories, etc!!
im only 16, but i remember loving cardboard boxes A LOT, because my parents couldn't afford the DreamHouse in my country, it is very expensive by the way. but the feeling of creating your own dreamhouse is amazing and very nostalgic. im happy that i could relate to your comment!
You know what was frustrating playing with those? I feel like I remember Barbie barely fitting in them. I feel like if it were her dream house, her head wouldn’t be touching the ceiling and she could walk around without knocking everything down
That's why I didn't really play with the actual barbie lol, the house is big but the Barbie is bigger it can't even stand in the rooms, so I always play with the Barbie paper or the one that made out of box/card(?) Cuz it can fit in every room, even the bed 😂
I love that they made the elevators bigger and added ramps after they released the fashionistas wheelchair dolls! I’m disabled and it would have been so special to me for that inclusivity to exist when I was a child. It makes me really happy for children now that not only see themselves in a Barbie, but to also have an accessible house for all Barbies, helping to normalize accessibility as a whole 💗
It was really interesting to watch how the interiors of Barbie house changes from homey to a TikTok residence. I had a barbie house which wasn’t mentioned in this video that was folded in a pink briefcase and it was 2 story, I think. It had no elevators and minimum of furniture, but I loved every bit of it.
As being a girl who's obsessed with Barbie since forever and never owned a single barbie dreamhouse, THIS is my dream video!! ALL houses were so pretty and now suddenly I want to have my own collection!! ik I'm late to the party for commenting on this, but I loved it so much!!!
I'm living vicariously through my daughter 😂 she doesn't have a dreamhouse but a modern townhouse. I've since bought a foldable 90s house and a 2002 townhouse to gift her this Xmas.🎉😂
I had a few of the 90s ones and a child, and now knowing some of their prices and knowing I grew up so poor, I have a new found appreciation for my mom. I was a fanatic when it came to Barbie, and knowing my mom always found a way to get me the coolest things the brand could offer, despite being strapped for cash, makes me want to cry. I miss my mom so much and I wish I could thank her all over again. Thank you for this video Hope
I wish they would do an updated house more similar to the ones from the 60's!! I loved the detail and the fact that it wasn't all pink. --I was kinda bummed to see the newest house. At this point, the Barbie Dream House could seriously be stunning and it really hasn't changed much in the past few years. I'm assuming the next house will be the same as the one in the movie, but after that I'd love to see them put more thought into it, adding in extra detail and texture.🏰💖
Yeah I have to agree, they could do SO much, but they focus on gimmicks like apps and flushing toilets, while the bedding is a single piece of fabric. Like come on now, I think that for the price you pay for these you could ask for a little more nice quality items tbh.
@@alice45-fgd-456drt Exactly!! 💯 And look what happens when they add in stuff like that, the 2016 house needs not only a certain app to use it, but it specifically needs the iPhone 6+. That really limits its use, especially for collectors. The app no longer works and who wants to go buy that phone just to use the features that YOU PAID FOR?!
I had the 1985 one that I bought at a yard sale in the 90s. My grandpa used to decorate for different holidays for me. He covered a little short table with fake grass, so I had a lawn. This was a wonderful childhood nostalgia trip! ❤
This was incredibly fun to watch! I had the townhouse as a kid in the late 70s because the Dream House was too expensive. But I'm legitimately baffled that you spent thousands of dollars on all these houses, but didn't have an actual Barbie doll to use... and called a Rainbow High/Shadow High doll a "Barbie" 😕
She did say she didn’t grow up having a Barbie dream house. Good job though kid. Another reason AI can’t replace entertainment. 😂 I did enjoy the video, but that’s no 2023 Barbie.
О боже, это то видео, что мне было нужно! Я все детство рассматривала эти дома в книжке про историю Барби, а теперь смогла увидеть их размеры! И в видео их даже больше, чем в книжке. Спасибо!
It's so iconic that the Doll you used as your "Dreamhouse model" is actually a doll from Mattel's rival company "MGA" (creators of Bratz, Rainbow High etc.) which for years have had a public beaf towards each other 😭
I'm a '79 model myself.. 44 years old. This is a real blast from the past! I had an original peaches and cream Barbie from 1984. I wonder if my mom still has her...
I'm an 80's model and the peaches and cream Barbie was my first one, and still my favorite. I don't have the original anymore but I do have a collector's one.
I was born in ‘77 and also had the ‘84 peaches and cream. And the magic curl Barbie from ‘81. Along with the motorhome. I was more of a MLP gal myself. Wish I still had all my first gen ones that’s for sure!
I turned 10 in Nov 1974 and I wanted that townhouse soooooo badly! I didn't get it but I knew my mom couldn't really afford it (single mom, 3 kids, deadbeat dad) so I didn't whine....much 😇 But guess what I got Xmas morning!!!!! EEEEEEEEEE!! I was so excited! Back then my mom did a lot of sewing to make extra money, and she also made a lot of our clothes and Barbie clothes (even tiny knitted sweaters!! 😳), so we went thru all her fabric scraps and refurnished the whole thing. Fun-fur carpets, wallpaper, new furniture....and we made real pillows, curtains, bedding, etc. We might not have had money but we knew how to have fun with what we had. 😊
I had the first 70s house with the elevator. There are no words for the happiness I felt when I got that house. I was/am a Barbie fanatic. I had SO much Barbie stuff that got thrown away. Thank you Mom and Dad for making my childhood amazing. 💛
4:56 You have to appreciate the irony of Hope using an MGA doll ( the makers of Bratz and Mattel’s biggest doll competitor) to show off the Barbie Dreamhouses 😅🥰❤️
As a 90s girl who never owned a Barbie or a Barbie dream house, this video made my day. Even though I never thought of buying one after growing up, I think this is the perfect time to finally get one for myself and satisfy that kid inside me who always wanted it.
I wholeheartedly recommend it. I have bought some 80ies and 90ies Barbies for myself and I am so happy, my inner child is healed. I am 37, by the way. 🙈
For the yellow chair in 2018 dream house you can move it around the house on each floor and if you don’t want it to be there you can take it out wit( the little hook at the top 💐I love your vids btw
Honestly, the 1962 and 1964 cardboard ones were my favorites. Simple, yet fun. My face was 😳 when you were doing the rest of them. I never had one, though. But I did have like a Fisher-Price Dollhouse that folded up. I sold it to a mom who gave it to her daughter last year for Christmas for $20. All I really wanted was for someone to enjoy it as much as I did. :) It was like a Barbie Dreamhouse, just not Barbie. 😂
Being 56, an avid Hopescope fan and a Barbie collector for decades, I was soooooo excited with this episode!! I have always wanted a Barbie Dreamhouse despite having over 200 dolls, I just never got the Dreamhouse. When I was little, my parents couldn’t afford it, then over time, it just seemed silly to spend the money on it. After watching this tonight, i want one more than ever. I’m going to justify the purchase by saying it is “ for my three little grand daughters” and I to play together when they come visit. 😂😉
I pray 🙏🏿 you're blessed to have a Barbie Dreamhouse. God bless our parents. They could'nt afford to buy us girls doll houses. As an adult I was blessed to find vintage and newer homes on Craigslist, thrift stores and garage sales. I got vintage furniture on eBay. I also have shelves for Barbie apartments and other dioramas. I pray you're blessed to get the home of your dreams!!! 😃❤️
We made our own stuff. Shoe box with a monogrammed fingertip towel= bed and spread. An empty Hersheys cocoa tin was the washing machine…not good for washing though…cocoa residue. There was so much more because I remember the set up taking up the entire bedroom floor….for weeks.
As a fellow kid who never had a Barbie dream house, getting to live vicariously through you in this video was fantastic hahaha! Such a great video from the concept to the execution!!
Holy crap. I had a 1979 dream house and never knew it until this video! It was yellowed and didn't have anything but the shell, but I never knew what it was until this video. Now I'm kicking myself for being very quick to get rid of it.
I was born in 99. So I had the 2006 Barbie Dream house. Plus I had the Barbie convertible too. I played with those for years. Also. I love how committed Hope is to the theme. Even matching her hair and outfits to each decade. This is why we love you Hope! ❤
My mom was born in 1986 and she had the 1979 one, that was passed down to me and my sister but sadly my mom sold it due to storage space. I recently found one selling for 1,000$ on fb marketplace and I got so sad 😭😭
the 2006 one was playing barbie and the 12 dancing princess!!! (i wasnt born ar that point so all of these that yall are getting nostalgia from seeing are new to me, the first one i recognise is 2013)
In the “80”s my sister loved playing Barbies. We couldn’t afford the dream house so I made her a Barbie house out of a cardboard box. It had two floors and a spiral staircase. I made the kitchen cabinets and countertops out of cardboard as well. Then I made all the furniture by sewing and stuffing them like pillows. She played with it for years! She loved it. (I also made her a lot of Barbie doll clothes.)
I remember playing with my Barbie’s in a plastic storage bin as a house. Then one day my single working mom bought me the dollhouse at 13:10 as a surprise when she picked me up from school! It was so exciting! I played with it for YEARS and I still have it. I really treasure this as one of my favourite gifts from my mom 💜
You need to rent a spot and set them all up like a barbie dream house museum!!! People would love to come see them all. I absolutely loved seeing the 2000s one that my daughter had when she was young. This video was awesome!! Thanks for doing this Hope.❤❤❤❤
As a 90s kid, this brought back all my favorite childhood memories. I don’t remember having a dreamhouse but I definitely had the rolling case with the flip down bed from the mid 90s, some sort of Barbie van and a remote control convertible corvette. I didn’t realize at the time how many hours my mom had to put in to afford my vast Barbie collection but now, I think I’ll call her and thank her. I appreciate the effort that went into sourcing all these houses and the trip down memory lane.
I grew up in the 60's. My Barbie was the envy of our neighborhood! My mom used to make the most amazing clothes for her. Barbie had fur collared coats with real fur, ball gowns, you name it. Plus, my Barbie had pierced ears! My dad would snip off about 3/4 of those pins with the colored ball on the end, and I would just push the small piece with the colored ball right into her ear. My mom still has all these Barbie clothes and my Barbie house. I'm not sure if it was a "Dream House," but it sure was a dream to me as a kid! Oh! I also had a "Hi, Heidi" & "Her Oriental Friend, Jan". Yes, that's really how she was marketed. Heidi's hand flew up (Hi!) when a button on her belly was pressed. This was really fun to watch, and your excitement makes it that much better.
I was a kid in the 70's and 80's . My mom did the same , she sewed my dolls the most amazing outfits . Back then all the barbies looked the same.. except for a few ,I had a Donnie and Marie set which I loved because she had brown hair like me. The only differences in Barbies at that time were her outfits and those were pretty expensive, so my mom made them.
So sweet! Especially that your mom has everything. I was born in '83, and my mom passed away in 2017, 2 weeks after she turned 60. I kept my Barbie stuff. My mom's Barbie stuff was handed down to her younger sister who still has it. A lady in the neighborhood my mom grew up in made clothes for Barbie dolls that she sold from her home. Those were the clothes my mom had. My mom also had a Skipper, and had the Twiggy doll. I have never seen these dolls, sadly. I am glad that her younger sister has them as well as my mom's older sister's dolls (she had a Barbie, a Skipper, and a Francie).
Ah the childhood pleasure of Barbie. I love how she is so excited over the smallest of details and is just like how I was with my first Barbie Dreamhouse (the 2013 one)
i had the 2013 barbie dream house. even though unfortunately its not in this video, i still felt this huge wave of nostalgia from the 2010s dream houses
I know this may sound weird but this video genuinely brought me to happy tears. My grandma bought me my first barbie dream house when I turned 7. It was the 2013 one, and the minute I saw it I had flashbacks. Youre right! It did have a car, a hot pink jeep, just the way I remembered it. I absolutely remember eveything, the hot pink cups that fit on the table, the tops on the sink, everything. I’m barely an adult, building my life up and this video was an amazing way to bring back memories. Thank you
The ‘79 design must’ve been so popular that they had to bring it back in ‘85 but in pink. And they were right because that design is very aesthetically pleasing. I like that it’s a whole house but in 3 separate pieces that you can turn to open it up and put each piece wherever you want however you want!
Never had a Barbie Dream House cause it was too expensive and we lived in a tiny apartment, I can't even visualize where one of these would fit :') So I thank you for showing all of them, I just love looking at them
Imagine being Hope’s assistant… she gets home from work “What did you do today?” “ I built 20 Barbie dream houses…it was a blast” 😂😂😂 Honestly sounds like a fun job tbh 😂
I had the 2013 one she couldn’t get her hands on!! Such nostalgia. I was entering that phase where my friends were “too old for kid stuff.” Now I know the truth: you’re never too old for kids, stuff! I adored the house when I got it for Christmas. It was a bit “smarter” than the most recent ones, with a working doorbell, and more possible sound effects. Still a pull string elevator, tho! So sad she couldn’t get that one, definitely my favorite (no, I’m not biased.😂)
Yesss!!! I was 13 when I got it and I was waiting for it bc she’s like only the toilet flushes and the newer ones were disappointing. The 2013 had so many sound effects, I was OBSESSED with the bed and table. Especially being able to put the cake or flower vase on it and how the food and stuff would actually stick in holes so they didn’t fall off 😭
@@Ellyssamhh yes!! And the table flipped so you could attach different things and just flip the center over to something new! I completely forgot about that! It came with so many accessories and decorations.
Like you, I never had a Barbie house. I still remember how much I begged my parents to buy it. I used to make the house out of cardboard. It was damaged quickly and I had to rebuild it. When I have children in the future, the first thing I will buy for my children is a Barbie house. Whether they want it or not, I will buy it. Due to lack of childhood 😂😂♥️
We had the original 1962 version! It had been my mom’s. That cardboard stuff lasted and lasted and eventually she donated it to a museum! It really was surprisingly high quality.
This made my 51 year old heart pitter-pat! I had the 1974 Townhouse, the 1979 Dream House and the 1982 Dream Cottage. I remember wanting the 1979 so bad it’s all I asked “Santa” for. And of course he delivered! My Dad and I sat for HOURS building every piece. This house actually came with a fully stocked kitchen with the cutest dishes, cups and silverware ever. Since my Barbie was the Ballerina, we had many dinner parties. The top of my long bedroom dresser was converted into her dance studio. 😆 All of my houses were set up in my walk-in closet and my dresser was in the bedroom, so in the mornings, I’d put her in her Corvette and she’d drive from her massive home (all 3 together) to her studio. She worked while I was at school. I was THAT Barbie girl! 😆 Thank you for sparking such beautiful memories for me. 🩷
There was one I had that she didn’t get. It had to be around 1985 it was pink had a pool and was almost as tall as I was. I feel pretty sure it was a Malibu Dream House. I’m going to google it
The 2015 house brings back so many memories. I remember Christmas 2015 being 5 years old, going into my grandma's garage and seeing this completely built as my present. I loves it for years. We just gave it away this year and the amount of memories I still have is crazy.
EDIT: the house I had came out in 1995 “pretty & pink”. Currently listed for approx $71. You’re missing one in the 90s because I had a Barbie house that was not shown. I’ve no idea what year it came out but I played with it so much. It stayed assembled all the way up to my late teens because it was so bulky. I eventually gave it to my older sister who is an avid Barbie collector after our mom passed away and I had to move out.
I had the 1964 one as a kid in the 80s and it was honestly the best!! I loved that it folded into a briefcase so I could actually put it away. I think the ones you had trouble finding were probably the most loved and that's why they are not in existence or for sale anymore.
Born in 95 and had the 2000 version! I loved seeing it again - Thank you, Hope! It was very well loved but a few years ago we ended up donating it to our library's children's department and I cried so hard when we gave it away. The idea of other kids enjoying it makes me feel a little bit better 🥰💕
My mother had the 1982 Barbie cottage dream house, she was super excited/emotional when I showed it to her. She said that it reminded her of her childhood happiness. Love your channel ❤
I'm 66 and had the last cardboard dollhouse shown. (1964) I remember the sliding door with cellophane as the glass. There was also patio outside. So much detail. I have fond memories of that Barbie house. I still think it's the best house they made with all the details.
my inner child is so excited!!! and i think we can all appreciate the details in this video, like you finding all of barbie’s looks, like you’re literally a real life barbie and i’m just gonna live vicariously through you
The way she never stops smiling! She is so special the way she never gives off negative energy! And the amount of money she spends to make an entertaining video!!!!
I used to have the 2013, and 2015 one later on. Some of my sweetest memories was creating "twins" with Monster High dolls that were really just the same character from two collections, and buying mini dollarstore plants/trinkets (like a mini windchime tied near the front of the door) to decorate it.
My sister had the first, original cardboard one. I was given Tressy’s cardboard hair salon the same Christmas. The next summer the neighbors and us made a cardboard Barbie and Tressy city in the basement. Thanks for the nostalgia :)
I never had a Barbie dream house growing up so this def healed my inner child by watching them all be unboxed & put together! Thank you for helping all of us heal our inner child ❣️❣️❤️💞
My one and only Barbie house was a townhouse somewhere around 1979 or 1980. I also had the RV, the Corvette, a dog grooming salon, and a horse ranch with horses, all during the 80's. As an adult, I am a career dog groomer. Now that I am retired, I travel around in my RV. Barbie definitely influenced who I became and continued to become
On the third treehouse, you missed a lot of stuff that makes noise because I have a Dreamhouse and the little lover by the MJ set on the floor. If you push that down, it starts party music. There is a stove button on the stove and if you push that it makes sink noisesand the toilet noises
Oh my goodness the way I gushed and giggled over this video!! Given how pricey the dreamhouses (and every mattel thing ever is) were, I never owned more than one of those hairdressing or fashion design studios. Many of my friends had these fantastic collections, so I mostly felt compelled to make my own dreamhouses, clothes, cars, swings and other stuff for my dolls out of amazon boxes and what not!! Aah the good old days. I'm 17 now and clearly out of time and energy to play with my dolls or build them things, but this video and the upcoming barbie movie make me feel so nostalgic and giddy. Thank you so much for this video!
I never had a real barbie dream house, but I definitely had an off brand one we got from eBay for $60. It wasn’t in the best shape but it was still so much fun. I think every family should have some sort of a doll house, doesn’t have to be a dream house. Could be a bunch of cardboard boxes hot glued together (we had that for years before my parents finally caved and got my sister and I the doll house).
First time seeing a video of this girl thinking i'd just skip through to see all the homes.. but she presents them in such a fun happy way that i watched every second of this video and was hooked Subscribed immediately Also her style?? incredible
Suddenly missed my childhood all over again when I saw this. I never had a Barbie or a dreamhouse back then since we couldn't afford those. I always felt sad seeing the Barbie section in toy stores hence I intentionally avoid the pink aisles. Now, I think I'll take a look, maybe even buy one. 💕
This is the best barbie movie-related video I've watched so far 😄. The details in the designs are so beautiful and creative! It's a shame most of them are so expensive. They should have continued producing the low budget ones as well.
As a 2007 baby, I grew up playing with the 2011, 2013 and 2015 dream houses! I loved them so much. My fave was 100% the 2015 one for multiple reasons, mostly because I was a bit older when I was playing with it so I guess I had more fun. I had a few wooden doll houses as well (hand made by my pops) They were amazing but like you said, its so fun having the barbie branded houses!! ❤
Hope. I hope you know all your effort does NOT go unapprecaited. The outfits to fit the era, the time and money spent to make this happen and just the fact you're giving us so much nostaligia. Love it! Thank you
This was fun to see. I grew up with Barbie in the 70s and 80s. I had the camper, the airliner and the corvette. My bestie had the town house and of course we would combine everything including all of our Barbies, clothing, accessories and furniture for massive Barbie extravaganda play dates! 😁 Things would get sketchy when Cher, Farrah or GI Joe showed up! 😂
You should definitely do a video for the barbie castles, too!! I had the Swan Lake castle and it was VERY "high tech". It had spinning dance floors, played music, and had little bird accessories that could open and change different parts of the castle
Wow I'm surprised the older ones didn't go for more. The 6,000 one made the most sense. Huge market for retro toys. These were the most detailed in the 70s and 80s. Looks like cheaper plastic and paint in the current ones. I would not have wanted to build all of these. Really cool to see the throwbacks.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻I have to give it to you guys, the level of commitment is right up there! Nobody and I mean nobody has ever had all the Barbie houses to line up and compare, so kudos for that. I’m a Barbie baby, being born in 1959, hence the reason for my name. I couldn’t be happier for this video. Yo guys have made my day. Thank you so much 🇦🇺❤️
My favorite was the 1973 Country Living House. It was so convenient! It was large, but really easy to take to your friend’s house. It had a handle on the top like the ones from the 60s. Plenty of room inside when it was closed up to hold all the furniture and dolls. The houses now are just too dang big. I took mine EVERYWHERE.
Special thanks to Tyler for tolerating me covering every square inch of our house in Dreamhouses 🏠 and my assistants Peyton and Anna for helping me build all 15+ of them lol
Lol I luv ur channel hope❤😂
Hi Hope can you please review Charlotte Dobre sweat pants and shirts I'm from Ghana in Africa and I love you ❤❤❤
I got 2021 the couch, turns into a bed and the yellow table time is it until another bed if you flip and also turned into a chair
I just started collecting Barbies. I'm so jealous right now 😭🥰 More doll content, please!
Love this video I am 90s baby but never had a dream house but I had tons of Barbies 💖💖
I had the 2006 one. My sister had her own too. I remember our dad worked really hard to get us them for Christmas that year. He was raising us alone, and he always tried to get us the best toys he could. Seeing the dream house again made me get that bittersweet nostalgia.
❤❤❤
omg what a dream to have a dad like him 💗
@@nicolemont.3949 I thought same.💕💕
You missed something on the 2018 1. You can put the grass on the roof and you can put the pool on the roof while not on the roof in that little Lake holy air area. The householder holds and you put the girl on
Thats the best dad ever ❤ your lucky to have him.
I had a custom barbie house too! It is now my pantry and has the original paint my mom did - a New York style townhouse ❤
Wow your parents made it for you, you should pass it along to your next generation as an heirloom and a nice family story of the past era.
That’s the house that my friend has
😊
Maybe you should give those Barbie houses to your subscribers That should be a great idea but I Skype you it’s just I have a doll house so you don’t need to get one for me😊
Nice
Being 30 years old, I was so excited watching all these Barbie house inboxes. Brings me back 😂
I had the dream house from 2013 and 2015 but then I stopped playing with them 😢
Same!! but im just a tiny bit older😉😉 😂

That is the most wholesome thing I have ever read ❤️
That’s so cute😢❤
I the 2018 one❤
I would love to see some of those set ups. Have you ever posted pics of them online?
My mother also had one that she later inherited to me, that house was beautiful. She also made some curtains for it. ❤
Dear God, my sister and I had the 1979 Dream House and I had no idea it was *that* expensive. Man, we were spoiled! 😂 Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for buying it and thanks Mom and Dad for putting it together--we had years and years of fun playing with it. ❤
my neighbor had the same one! we played with it all the time! it's kinda weird to see it at such a high price!
😮
no I just want no one to 😢

‼️❓Wait wasn't there a Barbie dream House with working lights and stuff that's the one I had and I didn't see it even mentioned in this video! I definitely think it's a 90s one. But yeah it had working lights and I think a working doorbell and a lot of other stuff 🥺
My sister and I never got any Barbie dream houses, but we did (and still) have the 1991 Playskool Grand Victorian Dollhouse. We have about every accessory it came with, too. It’s in immaculate condition considering we played with it everyday for years. All of the pieces that were battery operated still work.

I just love the classic look of the original 60s house before it went all plastic and pink. It's actually quite stylish!
Isn't it crazy to think that pinkifying the toy section is so recent. I wish toys would go back!

I'm 35. Never had a barbie dreamhouse as a kid unfortunately, but I did spend a lot of time building my own out of cardboard. Resembled the very first barbie house!!! Which I find pretty cool 😅. I spent so much time building furniture, accessories, etc!!
The 2018 house is the one I have
I hope you buy yourself one 🫶 I keep thinking about buying my childhood dollhouse!

im only 16, but i remember loving cardboard boxes A LOT, because my parents couldn't afford the DreamHouse in my country, it is very expensive by the way. but the feeling of creating your own dreamhouse is amazing and very nostalgic. im happy that i could relate to your comment!

You know what was frustrating playing with those? I feel like I remember Barbie barely fitting in them. I feel like if it were her dream house, her head wouldn’t be touching the ceiling and she could walk around without knocking everything down
I was thinking that too! I kind of like the floor layout designs of the older houses because they look like you could play in them better!
Exactly I had a dream house but I preferred taking out drawers in an older chest and putting the furniture and dolls in my own made up Barbie world
@@caseycombs8418SAME
That's why I didn't really play with the actual barbie lol, the house is big but the Barbie is bigger it can't even stand in the rooms, so I always play with the Barbie paper or the one that made out of box/card(?) Cuz it can fit in every room, even the bed 😂
I actually quite liked the 2000s one considering it looks spacious, especially the kitchen, which was my favorite part of Barbie's furniture.
I love the 1962 Dream House because I am a HUGE fan of vintage things and not super fancy modern day things so that house is just perfect.

Would be nice
Barbie in the 60s is my favorite! I own over 20 60s Barbie’s, I’d love to have her 60s dream house but I’d probably buy the reproduction of it
Yeah I have to agree, they could do SO much, but they focus on gimmicks like apps and flushing toilets, while the bedding is a single piece of fabric. Like come on now, I think that for the price you pay for these you could ask for a little more nice quality items tbh.
@@clrmgcbarbie SO awesome!!
My sister and I had the 1979 Dreamhouse we got it Xmas '82. Loved it!

I'm a '79 model myself.. 44 years old. This is a real blast from the past! I had an original peaches and cream Barbie from 1984. I wonder if my mom still has her...
I from 76, I have my peaches n cream barbie.
Born in ‘74 and I had the ‘79 too! Brought back so many memories!
I'm an 80's model and the peaches and cream Barbie was my first one, and still my favorite. I don't have the original anymore but I do have a collector's one.
I was born in 1980 and had a 1974 Barbie townhouse.
I didn't get it but I knew my mom couldn't really afford it (single mom, 3 kids, deadbeat dad) so I didn't whine....much 😇
But guess what I got Xmas morning!!!!!

Oh please get one! I've never had one either, do it for me too haha
We never got none either bi I did get the less expensive Barbie McDonalds. Career Ambitions!! 😅

In the 90s they came out with a Barbie flip and fold house that put the dream houses of that decade to shame. Definitely worth checking out
This is the one I had! Felt a lot bigger than what the pictures online imply too
That’s the one I remember too.
I think it’s the 1992 Barbie fun and fold house.
Yes I had this one too. It had a fancy patio and folded into a briefcase
I had the briefcase one to and

My favoriteis by far the 2000’s. Fits so well with all the barbie movies of the time! ✨🩷
I had the same rolling case! I think it was like a portable hotel room 😅
Love this, your parents sounded lovely!
I also have the 2021 Barbie dream house 😊

The ‘79 design must’ve been so popular that they had to bring it back in ‘85 but in pink. And they were right because that design is very aesthetically pleasing. I like that it’s a whole house but in 3 separate pieces that you can turn to open it up and put each piece wherever you want however you want!

I had the same one too! 😂
I bought my daughter this 1, still have. Has lots of sounds, like her singing in the shower, fireplace crackling, toilet flushing😅

Those were my favorite, the early ones that are actually portable but still solid.
Hop scope hi❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I LOVE how Hope wore a different outfit to match with every era!
That is very cool and definitely put a lot of effort into making this fun for us.

Ever time I am sick I watch you and you make me smile 😊
She’s literally living my childhood dream 😭 Also I cant imagine how expensive all those dollhouses must’ve cost altogether 😅
I love your videos ❤️
my inner child is so excited!!!
and i think we can all appreciate the details in this video, like you finding all of barbie’s looks, like you’re literally a real life barbie and i’m just gonna live vicariously through you
The way she never stops smiling!
Is it just me or hope's dog looks so cute!!!
My sister had the first, original cardboard one. I was given Tressy’s cardboard hair salon the same Christmas. The next summer the neighbors and us made a cardboard Barbie and Tressy city in the basement. Thanks for the nostalgia :)
What's nostalgia mean
@@rsbertram it means to remind you of a specific time
Your memory gave me the biggest smile. I want a cardboard Barbie city!!
I had Tressy also and had completely forgotten about her til I read your comment. Thanks for the memory and putting a smile in my face.
I got my townhouse in 79 or 80 as well.
My mom had the corvette too! And the white poodle dog 🐩
I had the townhouse and RV. I remember a Barbie boat, not the cruise ship?
The way you wrote this comment i thought you were in your 40's😂😂
Same
@@mystical-dc9vk haha, I could use that ability as a great cover up! 😂
First time seeing a video of this girl thinking i'd just skip through to see all the homes.. but she presents them in such a fun happy way that i watched every second of this video and was hooked

Also her style?? incredible
She definitely deserves more subscribers.
Aw
Same!!! One year my mom and sister built me a dream house from scratch 😢 you comment just reminded me how much I loved it ❤❤❤
This is the best barbie movie-related video I've watched so far 😄.
OMG i remember the 2016 dreamhouseee like the smart oneee nostalgia fr
Oh, how I love this! But only to look at it in someone's collection, not in my own home, haha
Thank you so much 🇦🇺❤️
she doesn't have all of them
I had a broken down version of the 8:15 house for years in my yard! I think it was my aunts
2006 was peak design! Early 2000s dollhouses have got to be my favorite! ❤
PEEEEAK design!
