I’m so glad I found your channel through this video. I’m also a Booktuber mom and just hearing you say how your reading has slowed down and you’re not getting as much sleep because of kids is just so real. You’ve got a new sub!
This was the first video I’ve watched from your channel, and I loved it! I was hoping it was like a year old so I could watch #2, #3, etc. it’s satisfying to know you’re clearing out the books that you didn’t enjoy. Going to check out some other videos on your channel now.
I have 477 unread books on my shelves, and I'm trying to "read my bookshelf " this year, too! Good luck!!! Subscribed! I've got to see your progress, so exciting.
Unhauls always feel good to me because it clears away what you don’t like and makes space for the new books coming on! I don’t think it was a fail at all because your goal was simply to get to them and reduce your TBR, and you did! You’ve inspired me to create a TBR jar similar to yours, although I might do a spinner wheel. Great video!
I adore these types of challenges :) I think you did amazing. A lot of people have a hard time letting go off books even if they hate them, so it was refreshing to see you sticking to your got
I am SO glad i found you! I absolutely love your opinion & how honest you are 😂 and the plot twist that the series WONT BE FINISHED?? I would be heartbroken!
Whoa - I love the approach! No necessarily getting rid of this in the very end if you never even got to them…but I feel your emotions in the beginning and my heart feels you! 💗 warm hugs and happy reading!
I have been doing the same, after moving and getting mad I had to move so many books that I haven't read. I didn't take the time to make a jar though, I've just been averaging reading two of those books a week.
I'm so glad I found your channel! I love your reviewing style. It's so much fun. Even though the video was almost an hour, I felt time fly. Subscribed!
I was trying to pick something to read today since I needed a break from the last few romances on my TBR for March so I decided to pick the first booktub vlog that came up on my feed and this was the video. You made Night Will Find You sound so good. I read it. I didn't get the Charmed vibes but it was a really good book. Thanks for the rec.
Oh I do that for sure! Except for fantasy or romance, for the most part because I just prefer them as physical reads. 😜 if I still remember a lot of the books, I won’t need to reread but a lot of the series I have on my shelf, I started well over five years ago and I would just enjoy it better if I read it again.
Love the series idea! I used to watch you back in the day and just found you again with this video. Just wanted to chime in about the Fire and Flood duology. Yes, there was supposed to be a third book. And the end of the second book is left a bit open with book 3 in mind. But the race does end in book 2, you arent left in a cliffhanger like you thought. Of course I completely understand not wanting to get into a series that wasnt fully completed via the authors plans. But I enjoyed it as a duology and felt satisfied when I finished it.
Oh ok. I wonder why the author said it was left on a cliffhanger. I also read comments on that same post asking about who got the cure so I guess I just assumed the race wasn’t fully finished. I think the author could at least post it as a blog post if she doesn’t want to pay to publish the ending. 😵💫
@@BethMorvant I agree, she could have shared her intentions with the third book on her platform maybe. In terms of book 2, maybe she considered it a cliffhanger and I didn't? By the time I read the second book I already knew the third book hadn't been picked up, so maybe it was my mindset knowing it was the end. But I'm certain I remember the race ending. The left open part was for what was happening next.
Hi Beth, I totally get it, my tbr is the same. Think I may have to try this myself. My trouble is I've got a bad habit of reading my least favourite first. I'm currently in a reading slump which I hate. Great video by the way.😊
omg i love it, cause i know i am not alone with buying cause the cover is pretty, you saying " ohh the book i bought because it looked like taylor swift! " i feel that one :D
I haven’t read too good to be true but have it on my tbr shelf. As someone who likes to go into books not knowing a thing, I have a feeling I’ll be unhauling it now because I know too much. 😅

Don't feel bad about dnf. The target was to remove books from your tbr and just have books you love. You achieved that and still removed those books.
