Of all the Glocks in the Glock catalog, this is one of them.
This is one of the glocks ever
Of all the slides, this glock one of them. Magazine.
I could not disagree or agree more.
It's the Glokiest Glock that's ever Glocked
I like 45ACP, so a Glock45 is my go-to, oh wait, the Glock45 isn't 45ACP? I like the Glock22 since ammo is so expensive .22LR is at least still affordable. Wait, a Glock22 isn't .22LR? 😂😵💫 Guess I’ll stick to my one Glock, the 19X. 😐
This reminds me of the scene in the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly where Tuco assembles a revolver out of various parts of other guns.

Ótimo filme. Aliás adoro todos os filmes de Clint Eastwood.
Nothing does my heart quite so much good as seeing America's Favorite Grandpa/Uncle start rockin' and rollin' a full mag within the first 20 seconds of the vid.
Gaston Glock - the guns inventor only just passed a month or so ago. He was 94 years old. He lived an interesting life.
He can steal proprietary S&W ammo with the big man upstairs now
The coolest thing about this Glock, is that you can convert it into one you already own..
Cry more
@@JustiPp-dz5nupalooka
Hahahaha! I’m stealing this 😂😂😂
i held it in my hand and thought it was absolutely pointless. better off buying a 47 and 19. which is what i might do. i have a 34 then again i can make a 17 out of it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have several glocks. People can hate on them all they want. They're like a timex, take a licken, & keep on ticken.
Yeah, but lots of guns do that at this point.
Dry as a bone and sit in the holster all year. Take it to the range and mag dump it and never misses a beat, a few defensive pistol classes and thousands of rounds, never missed a beat. I’m sold. Reliable as hell.
I'm always puzzled by the guys who brag that Glocks are so great as they show off the new trigger job, grips, slide, barrel and sights. The only thing left from the factory is the case it came in.
@@rbhe357 Glocks are overall “okay” when it comes to performance. The triggers have gotten a lot better and are on par with most defensive firearms at this point, they have good accuracy and great reliability. I get the allure. But they’re certainly outdated and you’re mostly paying for the track record, which is to be fair worth something. The grip angle does suck lol.
@@BLINC606yeah, because they're all Glock clones now. 😂
At the very beginning, when he's hitting those targets with rapid fire it almost sounds like he's playing the "Blue Danube Waltz." Hickok 45...a true Renaissance Man!
😂 good catch
hickok on his way to get me more confused with the glock types
Just remember, G18 is a machine gun
I have them 26 and 27!!! Fielded the 17, 22 and 23!! but I still have no idea what we have here!! lol but I want one!
Isn’t that what the G45 is?
@@whiterabbit2189 yes it is!! Lol no one let's me have on of those cause I would shoot my eye out!
Is there some sort of methodology behind the numbering? Glock 44 is .22 but that is the only thing that makes sense to me.
Been watching this guy since 2014 good video vibes
Glock 50 next, a G34 slide on a G26 frame.
😂

Now you’re talkin
😂😂😂😂
@@Emily-ou6lqno 60 would make too much sense
Which Glock do you prefer?
Me: Yes!
Most reliable fire arms ever!!
Longer slide also helps balance the gun in the holster. It helps the weight “sink” down way below the belt. Carrying the 49 will be much more balanced in the holster than the 45.
Love your show Sir. I have a Glock 19 Gen 5 and a Glock 17 Gen 4. Both firearms work very well. I cheated a little bit by taking 17 Magazines and installed reducing sleeves on them so you can have your extra 2 rounds in the 19. This is before the 49 came out and I carry the 19 Gen 5.
Glock needs to give the people what they really want: G26 frame with a G34 slide.
Hopefully Glock will give us a G22 slide with a G23 frame / grip. Some of us still like the .40S&W.
Just buy a 357 Sig barrel for the 23 and you have a Glock 32
@@larrycoughenour8256 I’d rather buy the G32 than play the barrel swap game all the time. That way I have a dedicated .357 Sig platform if I wanted it. Swapping the barrel still doesn’t change the aesthetic of having a compact grip with a full size slide, which is what the G49 offers in 9mm. Personally, between the .357 Sig and the .40S&W, I prefer the .40.
Me too, I’m just following the Hickok 45/49 swap theme:). I had a 27 where i did this and never felt confident the mags would always work for an ankle gun, and did have a couple of issues til i bought the dedicated 357 mags. I would rather just have the dedicated pistol. I also like the bigger grip frame, i know Hickok likes the small one but i shoot the bigger one better. I know the 40 is becoming less popular with the higher performance 9’s but i still like it as well. Take care.
Thank you Hickok45 been looking forward to the Glock 49 review. Thank you so much legend🫡
"BuT gLoCk SiGhTs ArE teRrIbLe!" Then Hickok blasts all his targets with pinpoint accuracy using factory glock sights lol.
I’ve had a 49 for about 2 months and have put around 1500 rounds through it between one class, local IDPA style matches, and training. I appendix carry and I’ve wanted a “19L” for forever but never wanted to chop my 17. It’s been my winter EDC with the addition of a SRO and TRL7 sub. If you like Glocks, you’ll like the 49. If you don’t like Glocks, don’t buy it.
G fan here....none has ever failed....nothing else matters when it matters....
Thank you Hickok 45 for another great video. You're the best.
Mr. HIckock, what you did in this video and keeping all of these different Glocks clear in your mind, you are still doing very well in the mental awareness area. I'm 78 and I doubt I could have kept it all straight. Thank you for you do and teach.
The Spyderco of handguns 😉
Una marca legendaria de pistolas en un canal legendario.
Combinación perfecta 🙏
I have a Glock 19; done. I like how they answered the call for a new market but I won't be buying a 47/49. Great video, as always!
What I've always wished they made was a Glock 26 frame paired with a 19 slide.
I would really like to spend a sunday afternoon with Hickok and John there.😁 Just to empty some mags on the steel. Nice people, and... that shooting range looks like a dream.👍 Thanks for sharing.😀
I never understood Glock till I shot a 17 at a range. Ugly blocky gun but man it shoots good. Then I got a 19 and I am absolutely in love with it. 😎
this is why glocks are loved. highly easily customizable
For some reason, there are those that love Glocks, and those that hate them. No in-between, for some reason.
Its the same gun every year 😂😂😂
The wide customization market is really the only thing they still got going for em. And their modularity
@@theequalizer9154 Consider me an in-betweener. I appreciate the general track record of the products and don't see any need for "innovation" on them. I prefer hammer fire pistols by far. Most striker fire triggers are just okay, and I've never liked the break of a Glock trigger, but they get the job done. I like them enough to have six of them- two Gen1, a Gen2, a Gen4, and two Slimlines.
I carry them more often than anything else, because who cares if a Glock gets dinged up and beaten to hell? They're simple, basic tools.
However, they're FAR from my favorite pistols and I prefer to carry a duty-sized hammer-fire if clothing permits.
@@FuzedBox I concur.
I like Glocks and I appreciate you breaking it down for us. It felt a bit like being in algebra all over again. G45 + G49= G19, G17
@16:30 to 17:00 all that technical information without cue cards or teleprompter. Well done sir.
I have many handguns, and one Glock copy that I like. The dagger. If I was to buy 1 Glock, it would probably be the 49.
S, compact, or micro? Or all?
Great video!!! Thanks for sharing this information!! Very helpful!!!!
0:35 Hickok trying to figure out with parts make a 45 😂😂😂
I don't care what people say, I will always love Glock pistols and their copies.
Never had an issue with one with any ammo with any Glock I have ever had, unlike many SIG pistols I once had.
I hope Hickok45 does a video on the new S&W SD9 2.0, and gives a good discussion on if it is worthwhile to get one. I do wish that S&W made a new 2.0 SD40 though, I do enjoy .40S&W.
This is the ULTIMATE GLOCK .... IMO i always prefer the longer slide & shorter grip..
I didn't know the Boarder Patrol ever used a gun, I thought they just waved them all through...
LoL that's funny as hell 😂

@@greghaley7470 probably but, I'll bet they're either hoping to retire soon or looking for a new job!
Awesome video nice glock gun thanks for sharing Hickok45
From what I understand the locking block profiles were always different between the 19 and 17. Hence the purpose of this new Glock 49. Now all locking blocks are interchangeable between subcompact compact and full size.
All Gen 5 Glocks have the same locking block, except the subcompact. The purpose of this glock is to put a model number to a combination that people were already making, G47S/B + G19 frame. That is why you could make that combo, because the G19 and G47 already had the same locking block.
Thanks for sharing the cool video
Being of the bear paw hand myself, under cutting the trigger guard on my 19 gen 3 made the difference on almost fits to feels right .
smoke a little pot... best phrase in the world
Best gun RUclipsr
I have a 19 G5. I love it. I want a 19X. Which is a 19 slide on a 17 frame. Little bit longer grips and bigger mag. All it really does is add two rounds. It used to come in just Coyote color. Now you can get it black.
buy a Glock 47 and you'll have 4.
Sheesh that thumbnail looks so badass!
Pretty cool how they interchange, kinda like the old school Chevy small blocks can interchange . Intakes, carbs , heads , con rods and cranks etc . Cheers 🇨🇦
This is like that cup memorizing game.
I love you hickock45
19X a 19 slide with 17 lower
Now 49 a 17 slide with 19 lower
What an invention Glock has made!
If you can get ahold of a gen 4 19C, it has been one of the best glocks I have ever shot. It seriously shoots like a dream.
I prefer the Gen-3. I can't stand the finger bumps on the grips of newer Glocks.
I purchased a Gen 3 G19C about 24 years ago and it's my favorite. It caused me to buy several other "C" models.
@@SigmaSheepdog "C" stands for compact bub lol
@TTime685 Well, bub, I'm talking about the factory compensated "C" model, like the 17C, 19C, 20C, and so on. The OP said he has a 19C. That's the compensated model.
@TTime685 C stands for Compensated. 19 stands for compact.
LOL
Compact slide on a full-size frame. Glock's version of the commander.👌🏽
Bought my first firearm a g45 feels perfect to me other than a few things i can change as i have the money.... the ammo is my priority right now!
Once you reach perfection it’s hard to make anything better
God bless you! And exceptional video as always. Never been a fan of the square black piece of plastic with a mushy trigger. But I see their purpose!
I purchased the G49 about a month ago.. The reason? My EDC is the G45.. With the these two handguns, you get a G17, G45, G47, G19.. In other words, you get a (upper/lower) long/long, long/short, short/long, short/short.. At least I hope I've got this correct.. :)
The “bevelled” muzzle on the gen 5 that Hickok used to desire, seemed to me like a good idea, however I’ve changed my mind, l prefer the original square muzzle as the gen’ 3, which is my favourite.
I meant to say this a long time ago.
Greetings from free Southern Middle Tennessee!!!
Can’t wait for your review of the Glock 29 Gen 5!
Being able to switch calibers is great, I have 2 1911's that I use for conversions a 10mm that I can shoot 10mm, 40 S&W and 357 Sig just by changing the barrel. The other 1911 shoots 38 Super and 9mm by changing the barrel, and if I want to shoot 45acp I just change the slide assembly and barrel and the ejector on the frame of either one.
Best video cover picture yet!!
The era of Lego Firearms.
Rip Gaston Glock.
I'm in love with my glock 48, I believe it's the perfect firearm for me in my opinion. Haven't put it down since I picked it up. But this right here is definitely something I'm going to be looking to purchase maybe put down the 48 depending how it feels to me.
I tuned in and see Hickok creating a monster….. the Frankenglock. Now available at your local Glock dealer. 😂
Good video neighbor, always like watching from Kentucky.
Love the modularity of the Glock platform
The hell with this indecisiveness. I’m getting two Glocks.
Gen5 17 home defense
Gen5 19 concealed carry
Just thinking of the Glock commercial team having an “aha” moment while dead boring assembly and disassembling pistols on Friday afternoon. Eureka 💡! The 47 and 49 😂😂😂
Chopped my 34 to a 19 grip length. Very happy with it.
Today's my birthday an you put out a clock video today thanks for the birthday present
Happy birthday 👍
I like Glocks, because they understand innovation is not always a good thing but rather finding the right recipe, which is timeless.
Love the uploads. Thx
Problems I don’t have: mismatching my slides with my frames. Mismatching my frames with my frames and mismatching my slides with my slides. Life is good.
Absolute legend of a shooter!!!
Been waiting for this one
I will never tell about the bowling pin 😁
Well, I agree about the Glock 19, as far as it being my preference for the fit in the hand. And I don’t feel any need for the longer slide. So the plain old model 19 is fine for me. I’m even more old-fashioned though, and that I like the GEN 3. I just like the finger grooves. It’d be hard for Glock to keep selling guns if everybody were like that.
I almost bought a glock but it had a Colt MK-IV series 80 Officers ACP next to it.
The main advantage I see, that makes a gigantic difference atleast to me is the looks. It looks a whole lot better. Every XL or long slide version of any micro/subcompact or compact handgun that I have ever seen looks so much better to me. (This is only my opinion of course)
I want a Glock 26X or a Glock 30X
Just use extended mags with an x grip on a 26. The Glock 26L is pretty sweet.
Compliments to the designer of the slick thumbnail.
The legend posts again, thx for the info.
His aim is so good
Exactly why I carry a P365, with the macro comp upper. ❤
Ahh yes the ole P365L
Wouldn’t it be cool if Glock had a interchangeable serialized fire module that you could change between models?
when there's a 15 rd glock mag available you can run it, and 17, 22, 30, 33 capacity.. if you have a glock 17 frame, well... you cannot accept those 15 round mags if you need it.. With the glock 49 I can. It's something to consider.
When a person has a patent, he has to invent something new... but taking something that already exists and making slight changes to it, and/or taking two already patented ideas and putting them together does Not equal a new patent in any way. One should not and would not be awarded a patent for such a thing. For some reason though, Glocks models are based on their patent numbers (Glock awarded patents), so I assume which each new model is a new patent. The problem though is that I just have trouble believing that they could get patents for all these guns. The patent office has made it clear that they don't offer patents for "inventions" like this, because they're not inventions at all. They're already patented and have nothing more that a couple dimension changes. For example, when Glock patented the Glock 17, he should not have needed a new patent for the Glock 19, because it functions identically to the 17, so it should already be covered under the Glock 17 patent... so therefore, they would not (or at-least should not) issue a new patent with each Glock model, because they shouldn't have to. I know this foes against things I've seen, like there being patents for the Glock 17 and the 19 (and every other Glock model)... but it still don't make sense if what I say about getting awarded patents is true (and I believe it is). Forgive the rant. It's something I would love to hear about if anyone Actually knows and/or has any ideas.
What a guy 😮💨
Love my G17 and G21
Great, I really like your practice field. Glocks are excellent guns.

your videos are super cool
ahhh glock the peak of innovation
The 19L😁👍
Exactly.
Would you ever make a video taking about the g19X vs g45?

hickok you are my saviour
Somehow you have missed the greatest cartridge chambered in the greatest bolt action rifles ever made. It has achieved unparalleled historical significance. It was loved by Jack O'Connor and hated by Teddy Roosevelt. It was feared and copied by both the British and American armies. Was the standard military cartridge of over a dozen militaries around the globe. In addition, its ability to handle modern vld bullets without a sweat, makes it even better today than at any time during its 133 years in existence. Any guesses? Of course I am referring to the granddaddy of them all, the 7x57 mauser. Please bring some attention to this gem. There are dozens of variants, some better than others, but they all have one thing in common; they go down smooth. Check em out!
