This is absurd. Don’t pull a gun on somebody who also has a gun, especially when that person is a police officer. Why is this hard to understand? There’s no excuse and nothing you can say to justify it. He made a bad choice. His bad choice had consequences. I’m sick of this “he had mental health issues.” This man was running from the cops because he had warrants. Stop blaming everything on mental illness. And by the way, having a mental illness doesn’t make a person less dangerous.
I don't know if any video/body cams have been released yet but I'll bet it shows the shooting was completely justified and falls comfortably within the law and department policy
Hate to say it, but if this guy wasn't running around with a gun he'd still be alive today. But today's society and young people are trying to live their lives as gangsters and dope boys. The music they listen to promotes this lifestyle.

"this is not san antonio" it is tho , did yall forget they raided a man's house and shot him while he was in his car and the car rolled into them. they said the person tried to run them down and they opened fire but the video showed them open fire on the person and after he died his car then rolled into thier vehicle... until we see the body cam footage unedited we won't really know what happened to the dude. if what happened is true then the officer is justified for sure. but we won't know until they release that footage .
They called the suspect a victim. If this man pulled a gun he is only a victim of his own choices and if he did not have a gun shame on these cops and they should be charged.
