They bought their son a 15-year-old a handgun. They gave him unlimited access to this handgun, knowing he was under 18 and a bit disturbed. He uses this gun to kill innocent people. I understand there may be some laws that prevent this from sticking, but it’s logical to me that they belong where they are.

But her and her husband decided to buy 15 year old, a gun and have full access to it at all times as if he really needed one with the mental history he had. Therefore they should rot in jail, for the rest of their lives to be honest 10 to 15 years is not anything for for last taken.

    5. You did not secure monster’s weapon properly
    6. The school called you in. Showed you your monster’s violent drawing that also Pleaded for help.
    7. You refused to take him out of school or even to check his backpack
    8. Your actions allowed your monster to murder Madiyson Baldwin, 17; Tate Myre, 16; Justin Shilling, 17; and Hana St. Juliana, 14. & also injured 7 other victims including a teacher.

So this lawyer’s argument is that a parent has no duty to stop their child from committing a crime… what’s the point of them being the parent legally then??? You may as well let people give birth, and let everyone fend for themselves atp … that argument doesn’t make any sense and it doesn’t seem like it would actually hold up in court because in other areas of life outside of criminal. Your parent is responsible legally for their child’s choices and behaviors… if the kids skip school behind the parents back just enough times the parents still going to jail for truancy… so how does that same? Logic not apply when your child commits a crime?
