And as for her attorney's statement that she's no danger to society, i think the parents, siblings, relatives and friends of all those dead children...slaughtered by her child due to her negligence...would strongly disagree.
So this lawyer’s argument is that a parent has no duty to stop their child from committing a crime… what’s the point of them being the parent legally then??? You may as well let people give birth, and let everyone fend for themselves atp … that argument doesn’t make any sense and it doesn’t seem like it would actually hold up in court because in other areas of life outside of criminal. Your parent is responsible legally for their child’s choices and behaviors… if the kids skip school behind the parents back just enough times the parents still going to jail for truancy… so how does that same? Logic not apply when your child commits a crime?
If I remember correctly, they allegedly purchased and / or provided the weapon that he used to commit his crimes, which made them complicit. Whether or not they knew his plans, doesn't matter... imo, they should have.

9. At your trial you said you would NOT have done anything different!
10. You were sentenced lightly! IMO.. Now Serve Your Time…
8(b) You emptied your bank account and tried to run, hiding in an office building, when your son got arrested. You weren't there for him before the shooting, you weren't there for him after the shooting. Double down on saying you wouldn't do anything different? Bet. Sit in jail.
No leave her in, she said in court she " would do anything differently" !! She just doesn't GET IT !!!!
Hard No!
This new thing “let me out, I don’t like prison” is ridiculous. You were convicted Jennifer.
That's fundamentally an appeal. Don't understand what you're not getting. It's a basic right of every American. It's not new It's older than you.
Basically admitting she would’ve ran from law enforcement again if given the chance.
God forbid something happens and your child does something horrific do you want to be held accountable??? Free Jennifer
@deeallen3880 Absolutely, I would expect to be held liable if I provided the weapon and ignored mental health issues.
😂😂😂 Oh sweetie bless your little heart @@deeallen3880
@@deeallen3880if Ur a good parent it shows in Ur child so just hope Ur child don't get in the same bother as Jenifer,s son did cause U sound like her..
@ Her text messages put her in this position, she knew what her child was planning djmbass
Historic trials with historic decisions means upheld. DENIED.
Jennifer should NOT be released, what about the ones that died, can they come back and live their lives?
Newsflash: Jennifer didn't kill those teenagers.
@ worse, she created the killer!
@@denisepelton5556 ... lol?
@@tinypig3191 she could have prevented it. Just as guilty
@@tinypig3191 she could have prevented it
Keep her locked up !
Insane...she should feel lucky she only go 15 yrs, I think she should have gotten the same sentence her son received. She is one of the worst excuses for a mother!!!
So she can “escape the press” again? I think not.
Why should she not suffer? The families of the deceased did nothing but they suffer…
I believe the school is responsible too.
Not more responsible than the people who bought him the gun 😒
Don’t forget they tried to get the parents to take him home! Yes they should have insisted, hindsight would have been great.
@@denisepelton5556and they should’ve checked his bag!
Believe me, there are civil lawsuits against the school.
I 💯 percent agree with you..... let's hope the school got stiicker rules in place now😢
so basically throw whatever against the wall to see what sticks lol
What? You HAVE to be kidding!Tell that to the family members of the children her son killed!😢😢😢😢
She needs to stay right where she is
She wasn’t concerned about the drawings. She didn’t take him home. She didn’t check his backpack. She blew off his delusional thoughts and odd behavior. She didn’t care if the gun was locked up and secured. He was a bother to her, a dent in HER life and plans. Do not release her!!! She is responsible, her husband is responsible and the school is responsible for not suspending or expelling him! I don’t know one school in Michigan, that would allow this drawing to be filed and the student allowed to remain in school! THERE WERE MANY RED FLAGS! 🚩 PARENTS AND SCHOOL STAFF, START TAKING PROPER ACTIONS!!! Otherwise, good parents will!!!!
Not going to Happen 💔🤔⚖️
Nothing would surprise me
Jennifer Crumbley should never have been indicted in the first place.
I am honestly curious why you say that? IMO she should have gotten the same sentence her poor son received, the son she refused to help when he begged for help!
Just take your punishment
She needs to stay put
I think if they were going to charge the parents, they should have charged the school counselor too. He was the “professional” that sent him back to class also. I don’t think the parents should have been charged. If he stole her keys and ran down a family, would they have been charged for that?
At the very least the parents were guilty of the neglect of their child.
They ran originally. Bond denied.
Incorrect, but that's how the media circus spun it.
😂😂😂 Oh sweetie bless your tiny little heart 💀😂@@tinypig3191
She needs to stay behind bars. She knows what she did. She knows what her husband did very sick people and didn’t care about their son. They were OK with everything that he did as long as they got to play their games 🤬😡
You are a product of your environment. Red flags are right there in a dysfunctional family. For the parents to overlook their son’s mental health issues was their fault. Where did he get access to a gun from? Everything was known to those parents.
Of course she wants out of accountability - still. She's never accepted responsibility for her actions.
And as for her attorney's statement that she's no danger to society, i think the parents, siblings, relatives and friends of all those dead children...slaughtered by her child due to her negligence...would strongly disagree.
She already ran. She’s a flight risk.
No!!
If she is released, she will take off and be on the run!
Sorry, that's not how it works. Then you would have to do that for everyone else.. I don't see that happening, but good luck.
If I remember correctly, they allegedly purchased and / or provided the weapon that he used to commit his crimes, which made them complicit. Whether or not they knew his plans, doesn't matter... imo, they should have.
No release until after 15 years!
She had one child in life she should never get free that beautiful boy beg For help and they told him to suck it up
The kid was charged as an adult. This implies he was in full legal control of his actions. If the parents weren't coconspirators, they shouldn't have been found guilty.
The state's psychologist also deemed him not to be mentally ill.
Let them raise you then or your children, they abandoned their son, stole his money and tried to flee, innocent people do not do that.
@@denisepelton5556 This case sets a precedent for people who didn't commit a crime to be tried and convicted for the wrongs of others. No logical thinking person should be ok with this.
@ They were charged for their own wrong doing. It is against the law to buy a minor a gun. Ethan pleaded for medical attention and they neglected him and created a killer. Yes I think they were in fact guilty!
@@denisepelton5556 That's your opinion. I disagree.
Hey, while you're at it, let everyone out 🙄
She might not be a danger to society but she is definitely a flight risk
If he's so sure that her case will be thrown out, then she can sit until then.
This attorney is insane. She most definitely had the responsibility to protect her kid. They are violent and careless parents who raised a psychopath. The parents were hiding out, proving they knew they were guilty. She's never getting out.
you are dead set 100% correct
She shouldn't be released from prison
@LucasMoore88 don't reply
@@rachelfan121 My bad wrong person.
She wouldn’t change anything 🤯
I call BS shes definitely committed a crime
So said 12 jurors
And said on the stand if given the chance to go back in time, she would do nothing different! 🤬
Jail food is high calorie!
I see her new defense attorney is hard at work with comments in this thread. 😆😆😆
Flight risk?
Other than the fact her and hubby tried to run
