Everything about them reminds me of the stereotypes that "anti-SJW" types believe about feminism (and pop punk, and young women in general)--- that it's self-serving, myopic, and mean-spirited, among other things. Which makes me wonder whether the people who created this band are trying to capitalize off a trend, or ridicule it.
Reminds me very much of that Jessica something that is that "creepy trans woman" from Canada that is literally a walking talking idea of what transphobic people think trans people are like. Both I think will be exposed as faked by "anti SWJ" 4chan type people
Perhaps....and just maybe...the “anti-sjw types” are talking specifically about ppl like this group and those their music appeals to? Perhaps the base concept of feminism (equality of the sexes) is upheld by 99.99% of ppl, but when the loudest voices in the SJW community sound like these girls and their songs it sort of paints a picture. Just a thought.

I just get the vibes that any conversation with them longer than five minutes makes you crave the sweet relief of death
The way they think ppl accused them of being plants bc their product was so refined and sexists wanted to undermine them when in reality the accusations stem from their music and marketing being so inauthentic and cringe that nobody believed any self-respecting artist would commit to that image by their own free will. The fact that they aren't plants makes things infinitely worse honestly.
Imagine discovering punk at 28 years old and deciding this is who you are now. LOL
Honestly though nothing wrong with discovering Punk at any age. The issue with tramp stamps is they didn't discover punk...they just discovered the aesthetic and copied it horribly.
@@dellarae My point is that given their age, they would have been the exact demographic, perfectly positioned to be responding to the wave of emo-pop of the 2000s. Them deciding that this is who they are nearly two decades later, is like if I discovered Nirvana when I was 29 and decided to flip my whole life around to become a Grunger. Could you imagine Sex pistols responding with an essay like this to some controversy? The fundamental essence of punk is to not care what people think or say about you.

That ain’t what demisexual means but yes. Semi sexual people only feel sexual attraction to people with whom they have a close emotional bond, so not “literally anyone”🤢
This literally feels like a social experiment. It's a band called 'Tramp Stamps' which almost implies a by-the-numbers disingeniousness or a copy of lower quality.
And saying a bisexual "will sleep with literally anyone" is your standard run-of-the-mill biphobic comment from someone who thinks a bisexual has to prove they're bi by being in a sexual relationship with someone of the same gender.
They must know that surely. They're either trolling, deeply out-of-touch or juat plain stupid.
I think they meant pansexual but even still, it feels very ‘pan means slut right?’
While I do not that was their intention, if they're indeed legit at least, one's gotta understand that words mean things.

The age thing: they did a fake Q&A (no prior mention of asking for questions to be asked) and one was the classic 'how old are you?' which they refused to answer. They put in a question they didn't even want to answer, into their own Q&A.
I love punk, emo, and any subgenres or mixups that occur, from midwest to rap. I don't really care about the whole argument if they are a plant or not, it doesn't really matter to me, and I do wish them well, but when I listen to songs that take elements from emo or punk, that tends to be enough for me and I can have a good time even if it's not all that deep. Their music was insufferable. I know female punk/emo outfits that don't have a lot of coverage, and it sucks that when things do break into the mainstream it's this.
