I'm old school. I like the traditional Winchester 94. My grandfather rode shotgun on a stage coach in Idaho. I have the Winchester that he carried while he rode shotgun. The stock was busted and angled down from a normal Winchester. The front sight was repaired using a penny. The best part is that it still shoots. Not worth much, but it is priceless to me. But I also really like the one you are showing!!!

I love how they shoot and carry one in my pickup and tractor quite often. Aren't too loud to shoot, simple, and reliable. I'm still waiting for the AR lever conversions to go on sale. Plan on building a gun based on that platform when they will finally take my money lol.

I’m thinking I’d stick with walnut and blued steel with some buckhorn irons. No need for a cheek riser. One of the attributes that’s so appealing of the lever action is how sleek it is moving through the woods. Strapping a bunch of stuff on it gets rid of that feature. Outfit your AR, honor the tradition of the lever. My two cents.

I might not go all in on the tactical lever action trend, but it is nice to see some quality of life improvements done to the design so that they're not stagnating technology wise. Honestly it surprises me more how few lever action models have been modified to easily mount a red dot or have a threaded barrel model considering the rise in popularity of modern optics and suppressors.
I'd likely want something in the middle like a wood furniture Winchester 92 but with a compact red dot and a tri-lug muzzle device that I could QD a suppressor onto.

Keep making these videos Colion. I noted that you said the .357 Mag didn't have any recoil and I'm positive that it didn't. That reminded me that my Dad bought my Mom a Winchester Model 94 in .44 Mag (in 1969). He had a Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 Mag that had a lot of recoil. When we shot the Winchester Model 94 in .44 Mag, it really didn't have any recoil either. At the time, we just called it a woman's gun (Mom's). The only problem I have with the future lever actions is that they just aren't as pretty as a Winchester or Marlin with the nice wood forearm & stock on them.

With all the semiauto bans lever-action is gonna become way more popular, love my new stainless r92 357, have a new love for wood furniture now too but may have to dress one up with Midwest ind. Next

I just realized that a modern lever action is probably the next best option for home defense in NY.

For my lever action desires i went for a Win 308 168 gr. feeding into a Browning BLR with Aimpoint T2 micro. Not as TactiCool but fills my purpose of a short range high penetrating rifle.

Old and traditional but willing to admit that some upgrades could be beneficial. Have a couple of lever actions and love them as always reliable. Must admit having a magazine
like the Auto rifles would be fun in a SHTF situation. Reloading could be the difference.
