I love what we are building and it’s hard for some to accept our role in this car crash. But I worry some are seeking Knubia for clout and to part of the cool crowd versus to help build the new wonders of the world. Love you Prof Hunter and Dr Carr!

Professor Hunter and Dr Carr thank you again for powerful grounding. Thank you for lifting up Shirley Sherrod who is the epitome for all of us to have The Courage To Hope. When you have to struggle each day to breathe because of the atrocities that have lingered into generation after generation you still stand on the potential humanity thank you for affirmation❤❤❤

Professor Karen, this segment is EPIC. I am thankful Dr. Carr speaks candidly about Christianity and also Islam. I am notice a change in my soul when I put down Christianity, yes I do love to listen to various Christian progressive pastors but as a whole so much of that Christian indoctrination I have uprooted. I am very thankful for your channel Professor Karen. I thank you for Dr. Carr and Dr. Black.

Dr. Lurie Daniel Favors was mentioned and I have to spotlight Professor Hunter. First of all, thank you for putting her on and introducing US to this servant/warrior- would never have known she was out there doing the work on OUR behalf. Second, I have to ask the question= so you love US that much, huh? “Train up your replacement” and then you go and serve us up one of the best Lieutenants out there (so very refreshing to witness -not one ounce of ego or insecurity). Demonstrating the importance of the WE being the top priority in all things. From all the selfishness and the all about ‘me’ attitudes, and how folks just gotta get theirs, I can’t stress enough how beautiful these acts of kindness, responsibility, and unity for the benefit of us all- actually are. Thank you-thank you- thank you for being a special one. Also, much respect for “Urban View Gives” that you provide on your platform-support for all those working for the ‘WE’; it’s a wonderful thing.
Also- looking forward Prof to seeing a clip of your conversation with our elder Shirley Sherrod- thank you for it, and rest in power to our elder Clyde Taylor (thank you Dr. Carr).

I watch Dr. Carr once a week on Roland Martin, his passion for injustice to our people is so admirable. I watch his show "The Black Table" from time to time. Most of the time I'm completely lost but I keep listening. Thank you both so much for sharing with even those of us who are clueless on some of the topics.

Thank you Professor Hunter, and Dr. Carr. What a great class (as usual). I always have to go back and watch at a later time because being in the chat, I am definitely distracted, and I do not like to miss one word - not one syllable (smile). This is how important both of your voices are. I was not feeling well these past couple of weeks and as Dr. Carr mentioned her name again during this class -it dawned on me that I never gave Dr. Carr my condolences for the transitioning of someone extremely dear to his heart- Queen Mother Mashaiki. I went online to get the correct spelling of her name and saw the many beautiful write ups on her and I see an angel walked this earth-WOW! May she rest in power, but indeed her strong impressionable spirit lives on and on and on. May the Most High soothe and put a smile on your heart as you pull from all the wonderful memories you have of her.

"The only way for Evil to triumph is, if good, does nothing." With that being said, what is good or evil ? And would it be foolish to think, the side that's committing atrocities, consider themselves as good, because I don't know of any individual or government that has committed genocide, that also considers themselves as evil.

Thanks, Dr. Carr for helping me understand my discomfort with the premise of Origin. I couldn't articulate it as you could, of course, but it helped to hear you discuss it. The FDR Memorial is my favorite too, mainly because of the statue of FDR in his wheelchair, an image that was never seen while he was in office, perhaps not until many years after he died.
The average person never knew he was handicapped because the press never revealed it.

Origin, the film is a masterpiece. Even if you don’t agree with Isabel Wilkerson’s thesis, the storytelling, images, filmmaking, acting and directing are executed superbly. It’s moving and makes you think - for yourself. I LOVED it and highly recommend it! Of course, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an unstoppable force.

Why wouldn't they just commute that man's sentence to "life in prison?" He'd already been traumatized once with "the needle"...I find it appalling and inhumane. Thankful I'm in Illinois. Witnesses stated it took way longer than "a few minutes." It was "cruel and unusual" punishment. Barbaric!

42:24 Malcolm X; The FBI “had a hard time discrediting him, however, because of the law-abiding way in which he lived his post-prison life. In 1958, an FBI informant called him a man “of high moral character” who “neither smokes nor drinks.” Apparently, he was seldom even late for an appointment.”

What I love about these sessions is that we can be realists and idealists at the same time. As realists, we can see the "what" that is happening. As idealists, we can envision a world that could be. Dr. Carr said, "What are you going to do before you stop breathing. " Hhhmmm...

❤️🇺🇸🎶MYSTIC KAY: Over the years the meaning of words change. We all know this to be true and could easily mention some of those words. One word which has changed in our vocabulary from the original meaning is the word ‘human’. Even though most do not realize this, in 1948 in Ballantine’s dictionary, which was used by those in Congress, the word ‘human’ meant: Monster, beastly, animal, sinner and unregenerate. It is also defined as such in Black’s Law Dictionary. I see it in reference to ‘hewed down man’, as opposed to the fact that we came here ‘upright’. The word ‘human’ at one time did not have the same meaning as words such as ‘mankind’ or ‘physical’ do today. Now certainly, we have physical components to our being and are even referred to metaphorically as ‘earth’ (as opposed to earthly) in scripture.
However, the word ‘human’ was never considered a term to be used for mankind as it is today. Nearly everyone uses it in describing mankind as a whole. Perhaps this is why people often stay stuck in duality. We are spirit slowed down to tangible visibility, yet our essence is spirit through and through. We are the word made flesh/tangible. We have an aspect of our physicality which must be yielded. Jesus always yielded to the Father within him, which revealed that he had physical qualities such as we have. When Paul stated that we are to ‘know no man after the flesh’ he could have said that we are to know no man as human. The word ‘human’ is associated with lower fleshly qualities. While we are humanity possessing divinity, we are not human as the original definition indicates.
I challenge anyone to do a research on the word ‘human’ for yourself. Since I have come to the understanding of the word, I can no longer call people ‘human’-We are much more than mere humans. II Thessalonians 5:23 in the Amplified states that we are sanctified through and through, spirit, soul and body. We are objectively set apart, anointed, sanctified or, deified (synonym of sanctified) in every aspect of our being. Does that mean that we do not have a physical aspect to our anatomy? Absolutely not! We could never be tempted if we did not. We would not be encouraged to yield our left side to our right, if that were not so. But human? Unregenerate? Monster? Animal? Sinner? Not when we examine the original meaning of the word ‘human’. Words are very important and carry within them the power of life or death. We live in a world where words have very little meaning anymore. Let us hold to the power released in our words-We are justified or can reap negativity by our choice of words. Se-lah. #KayFairchild❤️🦋🎶
