Being born and raised in this province and having dabbled in the tourism business, it was so refreshing to hear and see your appreciation for this land and all it has to offer. We hear tourists complain about our weather, our roads, our lack of services...but you both did an incredible job of showcasing what this province and its people are all about. Bravo!

Hi! I'm a Newfoundlander and I happened across one of your videos from this series tonight. It was wonderful, so I watched all five! I'm so thrilled that you so enjoyed your visit to Newfoundland and found so many great boondocking sites! Yes, you were right; most Newfoundlanders would have been quite pleased to let you boondock in their driveways. One of the highlights of your trip was obviously the Skerwink Trail, and I thank you for your video of it! A highlight of your videos for me was, of course, your delight at seeing the puffins at Elliston. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face watching the birds, and your reaction to them.
I won't waste any more of your time bragging about my beautiful province, but I had to thank you for showing it so beautifully to your followers. Wishing you continued safe and happy journeys!

Wow you visited places that we haven’t been too yet and we are from Newfoundland and do lots of boondocking every summer we are on the island, glad you enjoyed the rock.
I used to camp in that spot in Bonne Bay over 25 years ago. That bus was their them. That area used to be packed with long term campers! Always a great spot!

We loved your video of your trip around some of Newfoundland. I can only tell you we have completed a number of tours around Newfoundland, also in our EKKO, and we have seen so many spectacular places which we only wish you guys had seen. Everywhere we go we are amazed at all the unbelievably scenery and wonderful places to visit. One needs much more than a month to take much of it in.. and that would only be the tip of the iceberg. There are lots of great RV parks but also limitless places to boondock. I suggest a trip from July through September would be a trip of a lifetime to never be forgotten!

My neighbour Mike who's from Petty Harbour says it's like this "Understand Newfoundland" just that simple. The thing we found when we left Newfoundland was when would we be able to get back !!! Safe Journey folks

What a great journey you've taken us on. We did Maine and Nava Scotia about 25 years ago with the thoughts we would return for more, but that just hasn't happened and the years make it look unlikely. So videos like yours have made it the next best experience. Don't slow down till life makes you.

Such an amazing beach to spend your last night in Newfoundland. I honestly can't say what captivated me the most because it was all just so beautiful to see. Amazing coincidence. You guys ate Jambalaya a lot on your trip. We had Cambell's spicy Jambalaya soup at least twice a week. We're not really soup people but average temperatures in the mid fifties had us eating more soups than we would in a year.

Sad to see this series end but what a trip! Y'all have taken us to places we may not get to see but then again we just might. Not all my get up and go has gotten up and left. On a side note Owen, what is the second half of the five dollar hooker joke?

I’ve loved this Newfoundland series, had to binge watch the last few episodes because I didn’t have time while I was on my own travels. Have to admit to being really curious as to why you were like $5 hookers. And I must say that your photography, both still and video, has gotten simply amazing.
Thank you for your kind comment. The $5 hooker comment came from Owen’s grandfather. Meaning… when you're a cheap $5 hooker you're screwed pretty often. 😂.

What months were you in Newfoundland? We're hoping to get there in 2024 since our 2023 plans got preempted with other stuff.
We were there in August. Great month to go for the weather and crowds. But not as good for icebergs, whales and wildlife.
