Thank you so much for visiting our beautiful little community we are so proud of but we often take for granted. It’s watching the reactions of visitors like you that remind us of how beautiful it is! This is a fantastic video showcasing our beautiful park! Those were snowmobile tracks on the wood going up to the lookout! Also we have had 40 foot campers in our rv sites! We usually have sites available all year and if not anyone is welcome to use the overflow. I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay , the park is owned by the Town itself. You are welcome to visit anytime during off-season for free! Thank you so much for this and we will use it to promote Oceanview Park, Leading Tickles. Melissa Chippett Mayor of Leading Tickles ❤
Thank you for replying to our video! Thank you for providing a place to stay off season. We had the best time here… our only complaint was that we didn’t see a moose! Wish we could come back and stay all summer! What a beautiful gem!
Enjoyed hearing the waves and I'm glad you have a drone to show us what we otherwise wouldn't see. The aerials over the bergs were awesome. Glad you're getting so much joy from this trip north.
Thanks, will do! Not really getting warmer though… lol …. our low tonight is 36 Fahrenheit. Even the locals are starting to complain about the weather. I’ll take it! We had one nice warm day last week and the black flies thought the buffet was open!
Great video. Thank you for showing how beautiful Canada is. We haven’t seen any van life showing us how beautiful Canada is and I live in Canada. Love it. Can’t wait to see it myself once my husband retired.
Stunning drone footage, and the stills are breathtaking!! The blues and greens in the icebergs are so gorgeous. Simply amazing. That sure was a tasty looking and easy to fix dinner. Yum!! It's always fun to watch Roodle with a playmate. He has such a great time. Thanks guys!! See you next week!! 🥰🌿♥️
The drone footage with the birds! The photos! Wow you guys. What a cool trip you had. If that arch was any higher on that iceberg we know Dave would be flying through.
Great video showcasing Leading Tickles. We live in the town of Point Leamington located just before Leading Tickles. We are grateful to be so close to this hidden gem, and we always take our guests to this place. They are always amazed at the beautiful scenery. Plus the people there are super friendly and kind. The Heritage Centre and the wharf are a nice feature, as well, when you are there in the summer.
Wow, so beautiful! Thank you Dave for a beautiful iceberg flyover. Absolutely stunning. Glad you had some sunny days to explore comfortably. Carrie, awesome pictures as always. Safe travels.
It has been cold 🥶 still is cold but the icebergs make up for all! It was warm one day and the black flies thought we were super tasty … I’ll take the cold and no bugs!
Gorgeous, you guys! We really really enjoyed the episode. I gotta say though, there is absolutely no way that water could ever get warm enough for me to swim there, LOL!
WOW that's Awesome. Thanks so much for sharing this with me. You make my Saturday mornings happy.❤ Safe travels on your journey and I'm looking forward to seeing more. 😊
Hi Dave, Carrie & Roodle! I just came by to give my weekly thumbs up and to thank you for another great video with all kinds of wonderful content. Have a blessed day and have safe travels. Hopefully see you in Florida next year.
Amazing views guys the icebergs are awsome it looks cold and it is so hot hear just looking at the ice cools me off lol, thankyou for the video safe trip guys stay well.
Looks like a beautiful area to spend a few days. Great drone footage 👍. My parents spent some time at the same place about 10 years ago, i never realized how beautiful it is to be there. Thanks for posting this 😊.
Thanks for leading the way. When I shook my PM's front wheel to check the wheel bearings I discovered a bad tie rod. Steering is tight now. Love you guys!
I am not from Leading Tickles, but I did live there from 1992 to 2006 and I have yet to see a better place to live. So beautiful and the people are awesome.
Absolutly awesome, fantastique, gorgeous, magnificence. Can't find enough Woods to show our appréciation of this vidéo. Thank you sooo much. Wow, those icebergs, your hike. You guys are the best. Thank you sooo much for sharing. We love your enthousiasme fir Mother natures simple yet complexe beauty. Happy safe trails and looking forward to the next one. Greetings from Québec, Canada. Give à snuggle to Roodle. ❤️🐾
Walking out on those Rocks to the Point was a very dangerous move. I can give many reasons why, but I will give 1. You don't mess with the North Atlantic by going places You're not prepared to go. Signed, A Newfoundlander
We are so happy we ventured out to this off-the-beaten-path destination! One of our highlight for sure! There have been so many amazing experiences that are coming up in the next several weeks!
Another excellent video. I had never thought about it but yea I guess icebergs would be fresh water. Great scenery and I learned something. I wonder if the town has a fuel truck for the boats? I guess it would have to have one if there is no marina with fuel. Thanks so much for going there and sharing with us.
19:08 - 19:20: The eerie, almost supernatural greenish hue surrounding the iceberg is really both magical and beautiful. Looks like the water is lit by super bright green lights (isn't it amazing how light plays in the ice and water and the combination of both ice and water?). I think you guys got your money's worth! Oh and yes, the ice is fresh water! (Unless there's a touch of saltiness from the sea water). Thanks for sharing!
Make some red eye gravy with that oil with home made "biscuit pancakes" (that's what I do when I want biscuits on my camping stove.) Add that pork chop and u will have a good Ole southern breakfast.
Your van it has pretty close to the same mileage my van has you might want to order a PCM ahead of time if you have any check engine lights just in case. Definitely will help ease the pain in your back side if you choose a dealership, other alternatives seem sketchy to purchase a PCM
I have absolutely loved all the videos with icebergs. What a great experience you both. Thank you for taking me along. Did you have to give up any fruit or vegetables at the border crossing. We are heading to Waterton Canada and are curious about the border crossing.
We didn’t cross with any fresh meat or veggies. There is a limit on tobacco and alcohol so you’ll want to check out those requirements if you plan on bringing any in. The tax is quite high on alcohol
I am envious are you at or near Tickle Cove. A dear friend comes from Tickle Cove. I love the name and I am certain the village is just a wo derful as the name.
Hey, Dave and Kerry ! Great video and an destination we definitely want to visit. We also drive a custom self built Promaster. With all the driving y'all have done, what is your current mileage on your van ? Thanks
We just hit 120k miles. We let the maintenance build-up a bit and just got out of the shop with a pretty big hit. It's been running well for us so far. Hope to see you on the road. 👍😀
Haven’t looked at all your videos yet. Hope that you went down to the Eastport Peninsula and visited out around Salvage and Burnside. not much information out there about these places. I think the people would just not just as well that be too too many tours.
Hello! Love your show. I am travelling now myself. I watched a show about mail delivery that you did. What is the name of the service you use that takes care of vehicle registrations and mail and packages?
Americas mailbox. There is also one called Escapees. Usually in Texas, Florida and South Dakota. You’ll want to do your homework on what is required for each state… it varies.
Nice place but I think I’d rather be there off peak. Just for the quiet and lack of people 😂. 25 a night ain’t bad though. I will say those roads are bad. Just got to go slow. Great video.
I think some of the magic was having it all to ourselves and of course 10 icebergs! You know we don’t like to pay for camping but agree…. $25 a night is worth it at this location.
A coating I found that works for pork chops by accident was Curry. I don't think there's a tradition of "Curried Pork" any place except possibly China.
At least Roodle only rolls in snow, my parents had a Springer Spaniel named Sheena who would roll in cow poop. One of the acts that lets her getting the moniker Sheena the Shit! She loved to roll in manure and then try to snuggle up to you!

The nearest gas station is in the neighbouring community of Point Leamington so we suggest you fill up passing through there.
Excellent video. Dave how is your back doing?
Much better but still taking it easy! Not healing as fast as it has in the past. He is quickly reminded on certain moves.

Omg pork chops looked yummy‼️
Thank you!
Add a green apple to your sweet potatoes sometime. it really enhances the flavor.
I will try that….thank you!
Great video! Where did you get water when you were there? ... Thanks
We filled up before arriving at the Twillingate fuel station. The water was still turned off at the camping area. 👍. Good question.
Next time try dijon mustard on that glaze,I even use it in my salad dressing!
Not a fan of the horseradish is Dijon mustard! I know, it’s crazy!
No horseradish in grey poupon dijon mustard

Almost looks like old snowmobile tracks they cut open on that steep trail.
You are correct! The mayor commented and said just that! Thanks for coming along.
Hey, Dave and Kerry ! Great video and an destination we definitely want to visit.

Any issues with smoke from wildfires? And video was awesome! 😍
Not at all! Smoke seems to be blowing south. Only problem we’ve been having is heavy fog.
Sort of on the subject sort of related to Icebergs, some Canadians (think Steve Wallis) call hamburgers "Burgs."
How many dys have you gone without sunshine? Seems like a long time!
+Terry H we’ve been here for two months and have only had 5 days of sun! We REALLY appreciate it when it does come out!
A coating I found that works for pork chops by accident was Curry.
I don't think there's a tradition of "Curried Pork" any place except possibly China.
I had to giggle...
Roodle has 4 Paw drive 🚗 go Roodle Doodle 😃
Roodle has 4wd☺️
If you can capture some of that water for them icebergs in a glass bottle might be pretty good drinking water
Is there any salmon up there
We had some cola cola on iceberg rocks! It was delicious! I think there are Atlantic salmon up this way.
At least Roodle only rolls in snow, my parents had a Springer Spaniel named Sheena who would roll in cow poop. One of the acts that lets her getting the moniker Sheena the Shit!

Oh no! He also rolls in dead fish and especially goose poop! It’s disgusting 🤢

Really a Great Video! Very Beautiful!
